I've chosen 6 TikToks tonight — chosen them for myself. It's a crapshoot whether you'll like them. But tell me what you like.

1. Robot answers the trolley problem.

2. A simple approach to cutting your own hair.

3. Being a Democratic or a Republican should not be a life-style brand.

4. A grown man plays the floor is lava.

5. How different farm birds eat watermelon.

6. Girls who like their own name too much.

After that hate diatribe from Moby, I think I am done with these. Who needs to be surprised by somebody who doesn't even know you calmly saying he hates your guts and implying that you might even be subhuman.

3. Craving some pulled pork brought to term.

Those were all terrible.
Except, Grown Man plays the floor is lava. That was possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen.

The farm birds and the Lava one were great!

Tim - the hair cut is fun. Thank you for that, Ann. Educational.

4 is great. Tim you are missing out.

Birds eating watermelon.

Lava was impressive. I was afraid he would pull the door off its hinges.
Robot had a great point!
Lifestyle was also an excellent point, but not made excellently.
Haircut and girls names and farm birds were cute and made me smile.
Thanks, Ann!

1. The robot is lying as to why it would not pull the lever. It is choosing to terminate the most humans.

2. I don’t trust the video cut at the end before the final reveal.

3. Is Wisconsin known for its barbecue?

4. The man is lucky that the overhanging granite countertop didn’t break under the force of his jump. Probably a renter.

5. We need a ruling on whether this is racist.

6. Now do last names, Althouse.

"I don’t trust the video cut at the end before the final reveal."

I know. It should have been done without any cuts (other than the haircuts!). I love the final result, which is called a "bixie" (pixie + bob).

I was surprised at how well the haircut turned out and it was very appropriate for the girl's face and personality...emphasis on cute.
Holding the watermelon took some courage with the turkey...reminded me of a snapping turtle strike.

How has the chick in #6 not been cancelled over her twitter handle?

Liberals are more likely to make a good salad because it's more likely to be their main dish. The conservative is more likely to eat it as a healthy side to keep them regular--and therefore not care as much what it tastes like.

"They bring that pulled pork to term!"

Brilliant. They have the patience to finish the job properly.

I didn't like the answer to the Trolley problem. Yes, if applied to the real world, there are many unknown complexities (what if the one person would have cured cancer? What if one of the five is a serial killer?) But it's a hypothetical. In hypotheticals, there are no unknown complexities. There is just the problem as presented.

I'd like to see #4 on a Parkour course, whereas I hate to see him putting all his weight on things that were not designed to hold his weight. Left Bank is probably right--he's a renter.

Watermelon and girls who like their own names too much.

When our three girls were young, I would cut their hair using a similar technique. It probably took less than an hour to give them all a new look.

Chinese data mining.
NO BUENO!

The haircut, the birds eating the watermelon (especially the ducks), the indoor parkour guy, and the girls who like their names: all made me smile or laugh. The other two? Not so much.
