First black woman? What does that even mean? First I get and black I understand but it’s that last word … what is it? I’m not an etymologist so I won’t even try.
Haha. So take that social conservatives. I wonder how the dumbo Conservative Alaska and Utah Republicans who voted for these two frauds will cope with this. Romney pretended to be social conservative in 2018, 2012 and 2008. He's "Pro-life" dontcha know. But that doesn't extend to actually doing anything about it.
I'm actually happy about this. Now its all out in the open. Take note pro-lifers.
Chuck Grassley is a no.
The three Democrats stand tall.
And to think WaPo was wringing it’s hands this morning worried if the hideous rethuglicans could do the right thing!
Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah on Monday become the second and third Republicans ..
Got a pretty bad typo there. Assuming that is THEIR line, so you can't fix; but still needs a 'sic'
So, it Should Read:
Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mitt Romney of Utah on Monday become the second and third Republicans (sic)
Glad to help!
Why Murky voted for KJB is a mystery considering she is running for reelection in November. As for Romney so much for his "severe conservative" schtick.
Where is this evidence of well qualified? That's what they always say of ill qualified women and blacks. It would be different if there were evidence of it but none is offered.
It should be like a short man never calling another man tall, lest people wonder what tall means to him.
Romney and well qualified person of honor would be the same. What counts as qualified to Romney, and what counts as honor.
"Murkowski noted Jackson's "independence" and "important perspective," and Romney called her a "well-qualified jurist and a person of honor.""
Do they have to rub it in with such inane BS? Leaving KBJ, an entirely predictable leftist, out of it, there are just some white people we white supremacists despise.
Well of course Murky and Mitt support the pedophile enabler. Mitt comes from a long line of perverts and Murky has no moral compass whatsoever.
If one listens to Mitt for more than a few minutes, he comes across as a world class phony. Murk's gonna Murk, living off the family name.
No surprises here.
Jackson is independent when it comes to lawlessness. She’s for it every time.
She's going to rule against us every chance she gets. Fake normal like Biden, then stick it to them - her playbook.
Regardless of party label, statists stick together. No shockeroo there. Not for bothing did Tom Bethel and Joseph Sobran call that ideological gang "The Hive."
the votes Jackson needs to secure confirmation later this week to become high court’s 116th justice
Are they expanding the Court to ten seats? Because there is not an open seat for her to become a justice now. There will not be an open seat until July.
Unless they are going to storm the Supreme Court building and physically kick Breyer to the curb.
Murkowski is about to be voted out in the midterm elections... so she does not care.
And Mitt the Shit is RINO anyway.
Grifter Romney is also a big BLM supporter. A few years ago, when he was filmed marching in a BLM demonstration, he seemed euphoric
as he raised his fist in a victory salute. On key issues, he always betrays conservatives. Remember that he was the architect
of Romney Care in Mass., the purported model for Obama Care. He has been a leftist for years. Murkowski, however, strikes me as not
very bright. Romney, moreover, did not even have the minimum courage to challenge Obama and Candy Crowley in the presidential debate.

She certainly fits the profile Brandon set out to fill: She is a woman and she is black. Nothing else matters. Of course, I could be wrong, I am no biologist...
I met Mitt once in SLC. He was co-/signing cookbooks with his wife. The recipes weren’t that good either.
Embrace the decline!

Do you have the same problem with one President staying in office after the election/the Electoral College/Congress declares a winner?
There were no January 6th rioters storming the White House.
Institutionalized racism and sexism alive and well?
Unlike the Presidency there is no defined term of service as a Supreme Court justice. What happens if Breyer decides not to retire? Also, if a different Supreme dies next month would she get that seat instead?
"Romney opposed KBJ's nomination to a lower federal court less than a year ago, which means he didn't decide to support her for SCOTUS until *after* he learned of her horrifying history of going easy on child molesters and pedophiles." - Sean Davis
In other words, Romney is voting for her to shove shit in his constituents faces.
What a surprise. It's good to know that there are some politicians who can always be relied upon.
Be interesting, watching them run for reelection on a pro-child porn platform.
I think they mean "third black person."
I'm torn between accepting today's highly partisan and ideological environment and thinking of the consensus era of the late fifties and early sixties as the norm. Of course, those years were also an exception, but I can understand the wish that politics weren't so contentious and the conflict wasn't always turned up to 11. Unfortunately that's the current reality. Whatever Jackson's qualifications are or aren't, after the Kavanaugh farce, it's not hard to understand why Republicans are so opposed to her nomination.
As an Independent I don't like block voting by party. However, I like it even less when only one party is doing it. Murkowski and Mittens are disingenuous, dishonorable turds. If Republicans regain the Senate McConnell would do well to neutralize them. They are disruptive lefties.
