Reading some of these is like stepping into a lost world. Sometimes 10 years ago, seems like 50. I was especially struck by "Romney wants us to be happy". That hasn't aged well.
Anyway, happiness is too high a goal. I'll settle for content.
I have always considered myself fortunate that happy is my default mode. I can never stay angry or sad for very long. Can't hold a grudge either.
Exactly like my father. Could it be genetic?
Those were the good old days.
That Obama. He was a mood-lifter!
