Once again the Left responds to speech with violence and repression.
Done in one take.
Thank God they reacted calmly and rationally to the counter=protestor, otherwise people might think they were crazy!
I watched "The Closer" and I agree with the counter protester: jokes ARE funny!
So what's the over under on how long it takes the inclusive, diversity loving protesters to declare that they don't feel "safe" around any of their coworkers who did not join the walkout? Their silence is violences, and by doing their jobs they were literally killing trans people.
I can't think of any funny movies that are supposed to be funny except deadpan-played French romantic comedies. American laff riots are awful.
I want a time machine so I can tell 2011 that a mob of masked white people will demand Dave Chappelle be banned from doing shows.
Notice how much attention this 50 or so group of wankers gets compared to the thousands of people walking out over vaccine mandates.
@Althouse, I think this is probably the same video.
This story, “Let’s go Brandon!” and a few others recently, have given me a glimmer of hope that the utopian charade (and MSM blackout of any non-confirming opinion) will finally start cracking and crumble. Sadly I think it means a massive recession as well, but …
Two comments on Chappelle. First, I watched The Closer. Really funny. Two “very obviously” trans people parked themselves “menacingly?” front and center in the audience didn’t laugh once tho. Who cares. But he tells a true story of his “trans” friend who got bullied so much from the trans allies that he/she committed suicide. So, yeah, these people care.
Second, the recent Wanda Sykes and Dan Levy tweets “supporting their trans friends at Netflix” in this issue could be really interesting to watch develop. Sure, they might end up in the Memory Hole, but Wanda may well get shit on by her “other” constituency (the black community). After all it, was not that long ago she was fighting for the right to be taken seriously as a comedian (and “offensive” to some people). And Levy, apparently inked an 8 figure deal with Netflix to produce content for them. Wonder what happens in that world? Does he put his 10 Mil where his mouth is (well, where his Twitter feed is)? Let’s see him walk away from Netflix and the 10 Million. That’s solidarity!
Is this the one where one of the poor, frightened, hurting trans people smashes a counter protester's sign?
Scrolled right into Condi Rice's ghastly, hurtful, superior intelligence. Thx for that.
Yet another episode of the #Tolerance and #Diversity people living their values.
I don't follow the company and I wondered if this was the whole office out protesting. They supposedly have close to 10,000 employees. What the hell to they do all day? Rewind the VCR tapes?
The trannie thing itself is a mental illness, and when there is a small crowd of trannies and their “allies”, you have a good argument for reopening one of those old school red brick mental hospitals. These folks are lunatics.
Not widely reported is that the gal who got herself fired for leaking highly confidential information (such as Chappell was paid $24.1M for Closer) got on the mic and lied her very fat ass off about it. Netflix immediately sent out a scorching statement saying she had admitted doing so and she did it from her Netflix email account.
The only one of the peculiar alphabet crowd I want to hear from is Taylor Mason, and I’ll even use their pronouns out of respect.

I don't know about the rest of you, but on my tablet it says the video embedded in the tweet has been removed.
they took down the video. is there another link?
If I were Sarandos I would tell the freak parade either get to work or get out. My first obligation is to the shareholders and all they want to see is the money and Dave makes the Company money, you don't. Capische?
Criticizing or mocking people doesn't cause violence against them. It is not violence against them. They are just words. It may hurt their feelings, but they don't have a right to unhurt feelings.
We No Joke.
As the video is now blocked & haven’t yet watched it, per scrolling down that Twitter post, this appears to be the content:
“ Star of the (small) Netflix walkout is a genial guy with “We like Dave” sign. Angry protestors tear the sign from the guy’s hand. He’s left with only a stick. Cries from crowd “He has a weapon!” Lol. Watch the whole thing.”
Hopefully it’ll show up someplace else that’s freely accessible.
I wonder how many of those protestors actually work at Netflix. I'm guessing there is a large overlap between these protestors and the Antifa group that was beating up people protesting the spa that allowed a man into the ladies' changing room.
"comedy special released earlier this month by the streaming giant"
For some reason, I read that as steaming giant.
I can't think of any funny movies that are supposed to be funny except deadpan-played French romantic comedies. American laff riots are awful.
Oh, come on. Blazing Saddles, Airplane, the beginning, at least, of Scary Movie, all of the Naked Gun movies, Bowfinger, Best in Show, This Is Spinal Tap, and those are just the ones I thought of immediately.
My question: Are Bill Cosby's LP records still funny?
Here,rh. It's a show, not a movie, but it'smeant to be funny.

“He’s got a weapon” is the funniest line.
video removed?
the new soviet left (inspired by Nancy and Nadler) are the same everywhere. Like orcs.
It seems like a bunch of white people hatin' on a black man.
Never apologize. Never explain.
Stand back, fools! My words are deadly weapons.
No, REPENT MOTHERFUCKER! REPENT MOTHERFUCKER! REPENT MOTHERFUCKER! is the funniest line, not HE'S GOT A WEAPON!
Those were some real crazies at that "peaceful demonstration" that required a CT scan on one guy supporting comedy. The other guy supporting Chapelle had his sign ripped up and had obscenities screamed his face.
The video with sound can be seen here. Covington kids anyone ?
The little anti-free speech nazis in there - are little anti free speech nazis.
wee!
Go Dave!
every single one of those hate-fueled modern soviets harassing that nice guy who loves Dave = a democrat voter.
Omg so funny. There is so much comedy gold to be had with these woke crazy people who can't handle free speech. I maen "I like Dave" is about as innocuous as you can get and they destroyed the sign.
How about "dave is just OK"? So, where exactly is that line?
So funny.

which means...
every single one of those hate-fueled modern soviets harassing that nice guy who loves Dave = one or two (or THREE!) democrat votes.
Your free speech is violence. Our violence is free speech.
Both of those pitiful "in his face" homunculi were pretty funny.
I think the trans activist proclaiming, without irony, that "we had no problem with Dave until he came after our community" is comedy distilled to its essence.
Although in all honesty, the big guy with the sign has a future--that was very funny.
I nominate the trans activist for the Pheobe Cohen Comedy Award.
The video is much funnier than the special, which I watched last night. Chappelle spends a good long time playing the race card—how can I be an oppressor if I’m so oppressed??? He also makes a couple of stomach turningly antisemitic jokes. NPR of all places has a clear eyed take on it NPR review
I saw over at Hot Air that the AP posted a photo of the guy that was taken when the tambourine was in front of his face. Their caption was: "Comedian and videographer Vito Gesualdi screams profanities as he engages with peaceful protestors begging him to leave."
https://hotair.com/john-s-2/2021/10/21/the-caption-on-this-ap-photo-from-the-netflix-walkout-is-completely-false-and-now-retracted-n424040
Was the big guy charged with assault and destruction of private property? If the sign guy had fought back, I bet the cops would have arrested him.
Then the ones saying "he's got a weapon", I cannot even use the one right word to describe that behavior because female type aggression can no longer be named.
As close as those people got to the Dave sign guy, anyone could have attacked him at any moment and all those close people would have been the ones who facilitated it.
