I've always thought of him as Dr. Evil myself.
Look I hate on Bezos as much as anybody. But have a little compassion. How would you like to live with the realization that you are doomed to spend eternity being unfavorably compared to Musk?
You have to remember, in a world in which Musk does not exist, Bezos would seem like a visionary hero and innovator.
If you're thinking physical similarities, then not even close...the cult guy looks more like Biden...
For all of his 'genius,' Musk is kicking his ass in everything except net worth.

Big difference between Bezos and Applewhite. Bezos would not have killed himself. He just would have sold his cult members the shoes and plastic bags.

A little known fact, Bezos’s father was the artists model for Edvard Munch when he painted The Scream.
I would think Lex Luthor would be the better "separated at birth" option for Bezos. That would make Elon Musk his Superman, which seems both wrong and totally appropriate at the same time.
Dr. Evil is what I think of, too, when I see Bezos these days. He needs a Mini Me.
They do look alike. But Applewhite could be any old White bald guy. The picture of Bezos makes him look like Nosferatu or some alien. That could be why he wants to go back to space.

I agree with Gahrie: Dr. Evil, or perhaps the guy mismanaging DHS, Mayorkas, who definitely looks like a villain from central casting.
Doesn't the Heavens Gate cult advocate no separation at death since ascent to the Holy Place no longer requires death? So no more death must mean no new births - else earthly existence would get a bit crowded after a while.

Jaw lines are different at skeletal level. Eyebrow bone structure is completely off and this shows in eyebrow ridge hair. Eye set different. Triangle between cheekbones and chin sets different jowl folds. It looks like the crown of the skull has different shapes.
Not closely related genetically.
I think he looks more like Nosferatu.
