You can access Parler directly, rhhardin, it just won't be offered in an app on Apple phones. At least, right now it is available directly with any browser, but for how long is anyone's guess.
There is a regular browser way to access it and unfortunately that's going to be the only way now. Google banned it from the Play store seemingly effective 7:46est tonight and it looks like Apple is going to follow suit.
The social media corporations are putting real targets on their heads as I write this- same goes with all the news media people cheering the censorship on. There are going to be assassinations of some these people in the coming months if they don't back off, but they are too drunk on their new power to see it coming.
I have a Parler account, but I’m unable to login. Who knows what is happening now. Time to make a record of contacts and alternate ways to reach people.
So fuck Twitter, fuck Mark Z and Facebook and fuck Google. Shutting down conservatives and their speech outlets, they have crossed a bridge too far. They need to be in fear for their actions.
I had intended to drive down to DC before sunup Wednesday morning after driving my father and sister to Kennedy airport for their trip to DR. When something strange happened. Instead of setting my GPS after dropping off my father and sister, I drove off the airport and instead of getting on the belt parkway towards the Verrazano which would eventually take me to Interstate 95 south, I took the Van Wyck 678 north thinking of crossing the GWB.
Now, what in havens name got me thinking I had to cross the GWB to go to DC remains a mystery to me. By the time I realized my blunder I was ways away from the route i should have taken and so I took it as a sign that maybe it was a bad idea to drive down there, with no place to park and no plans nor place to stay.
So I drove home instead and went to bed, slept until noon.
I had the idea of sharing this story at one of my AA meetings, from the perspective of giving my higher power credit for diverting me away from a possibly dangerous encounter, doing for me what i couldn't do for myself. I didn't think it was going to get violent. But here we are.
I didn't share it however. AA frowns on talk of politics, even tangentially. And I would have outed myself as a Trump supporter. That's a no no. Specially at the place where this meeting was taking place... Montclair New Jersey. Are you kidding me?
I should start photographing some of their street signs. Like Althouse does Madison.
The death watch of this blog has now started given Althouse's post a couple below this analyzing Trump's actual speech rather than CNN's description of it. That is a big no-no these days.
You can oppress people's speech when the populace is disarmed, but to do so in a country with a billion guns and trillions of ammo rounds is foolish in the extreme.
I guess I am now a domestic terrorist for pointing out this fundamental fact.
Althouse's post a couple below this analyzing Trump's actual speech rather than CNN's description of it.
An uncustomarily definite statement. She usually chooses to set up several contrasting vectors to follow and discuss. Perhaps that phase of our education has already passed.
then the c-word, then other stuff, then communism.
Wait.....I got that wrong. They didn’t come for communism, that’s what they gave us. In the end they came for Freedom and Liberty and left us w/ women doing men’s work.
Would this night qualify as Twitter's night of the long knives?
"The Night of the Long Knives, or the Röhm Purge, was a purge that took place in Nazi Germany from June 30 to July 2, 1934. Hitler, urged on by Göring and Himmler, ordered a series of political extrajudicial executions."
If we are going to ratch'd up the rhetoric about the DC protest on Wednesday, two can play that game.
Edward Snowden links Damnatio memoriae Wikipedia page. link
"Damnatio memoriae is a modern Latin phrase meaning "condemnation of memory", indicating that a person is to be excluded from official accounts. There are and have been many routes to damnatio memoriae, including the destruction of depictions, the removal of names from inscriptions and documents, and even large-scale rewritings of history. The term can be applied to other instances of official scrubbing; the practice is seen as long ago as the aftermath of the reign of the Egyptian Pharaohs Akhenaten in the 13th century BC, and Hatshepsut in the 14th century BC."
The enemy of my enemy is now my friend. That's some rabbit hole i'm crawling into my friends. Almost makes me wish i was still drinking.
Readering, As a Giants fan who moved from SF to LA in 1969, I hated Lasorda. But I certainly respected him as an opponent; especially his passion for the game. And it's hard to beat the Walter Alston (23 years) to Tommy Lasorda (21 years) combination for management continuity and excellence. If you can, find a video of his press conference after the Dodgers lost to the Cardinals when they pitched to Jack Clark instead of walking him, and he hit a three-run homer. It is hilariously vulgar.
“Twitter is purging conservative accounts by the thousands.”
Isn’t there a lot of pressure to delete Twitter accounts, and then switch to Parler?
We’re in this weird transition time where folks are supposed to hate being on Twitter, and they celebrate leaving it so they can go to Parler. But some people are also running on the idea that it’s horrible to be cut off from Twitter, the shitty place where nobody should be.
Is this like someone quitting a terrible job and moving to a great job, which feels good. But if the employer says they’re fired and the employee goes to a better job, then the employee is really angry that they were fired.
Sprezzatura said...Is this like someone quitting a terrible job and moving to a great job, which feels good. But if the employer says they’re fired and the employee goes to a better job, then the employee is really angry that they were fired. -- It's like you just discovered the concept of choice.
Cassandra Fairbanks @CassandraRules ·8m I’m down over 10,000 followers. Normally I would write this off as me being vexing and annoying... but I’m pretty sure this purge is actually massive.
Catturd ™ @catturd2 ·3m Just lost 15,000 more followers - down almost 40,000 now. Let’s party - good times Face with tears of joy
What’s better? Twitter is deleting those accounts? Or the users are deleting those accounts?
If it’s Twitter, that means nobody is quitting to switch to fully commit to Parler. Folks only leave Twitter when Twitter kicks them to the curb.
If it’s individuals deleting their own accounts because they hate Twitter and they’re fully committing to Parler, those are tiny numbers. Forty thousand, that’s it? No more will commit in reality, beyond bluster? Yikes!
Yashar Ali Elephant @yashar ·7m "The Trump campaign digital director Gary Coby just had his account suspended by Twitter after he changed his Twitter name to "Donald Trump" and tweeted from his account."
Unless I’ve got something mixed up, I watched Chuck’s video via his link on this blog.
I didn’t see anything that would justify censoring it so other folks couldn’t watch it. Plenty of MAGA hats and assholes were seen. But, let’s be honest, this blog is gonna have a real problem if those kinda folks aren’t allowed. That’s what this place has been honed to support. Just sayin’
Maybe there was doctoring or manipulation that I don’t know about.
Teachers' unions in CA have given up even pretending. Just got the notice that they've given up doing PSAT in the local district. But I guess meritocracy is long dead so why bother giving tests anymore.
As if you couldn't proctor an exam in a widely spaced classroom.
Sell the land and the buildings. Fire the teachers, dissolve the pension fund to pay off state debt and going forward, give out vouchers.
Yancey, are you saying there could be a true antifascist response to twitter etc? Would love to see it, but how could we tell the difference between Jack and a typical street bum in SF?
More quotes from the friday night twitter massacre.
"Get used to this equation: Terms of Service > Bill of Rights"
"Pretty sure that a handful of Silicon Valley oligarchs deciding when the President of the United States gets a platform is more dangerous than anything Trump has ever tweeted"
“Chuck complaining about moderation on a thread discussing liberal and big tech suppression and persecution of speech is priceless.”
Because cutting off the (typed) voice of folks you don’t like feels so awesome, and openly jabbering that you find that joy priceless is not at all self defeating re what you think you’re typing.
Gen Mcinerney says that the "Hammer" and "Scorecard" programs by Dennis Montgomery are real. Should they de-class and lift the gag order so he can prove the fraud?
I’d get margaritas with MayBee, mock, Birches, Sydney, Kentucky Liz, Angledyne, and DBQ anytime. Freeman could come too, but no telling us to talk about math like she did once when there was some rumble or other going on around here. Don’t be a no-fun-nik, Freeman.
Whatever irony is there (including that Chuck’s been banned from here (as I have been many many many many many many etc times) is that people fussing about so-called free speech when it helps them, but then flipping when it doesn’t’ help them are shitty people. IMHO. At least re that particular so-called principle.
IOW, if you think it’s important for DJT to be able to spread shit and trick people on Twitter, you should easily give Chuck a pass for crapping out garbage here. As of now, only DJT has made our country look like a shit hole from the POV of nations across the world. What’s Chuck done that’s equally bad?
Brandon Straka @BrandonStraka ·1h Today Facebook took down the #WalkAway Campaign, and with it, the hundreds of thousands of videos & written stories of real people leaving the left. They banned me, my employees & volunteers.
Rt1Rebel: "I didn't edit Chuck, and didn't express joy. I just found it ironic. Especially since Chuck is banned from the blog to begin with, or so I've heard."
Indeed LLR-lefty Chuck was banned...for 2 primary reasons which Chuck himself proudly and explicitly shouted fron the blog rooftops:
1) To lie about and smear Trump 2) To drive a wedge between Althouse and ger readers.
LLR-lefty Chuck added in racist attacks against black republicans, threats against women and attacks on children just for the fun of it, I suppose, as well.
I dont have access to the detailed notes of Chuck's probable numerous therapists so I couldnt tell you what drives it all.
walter: "Chuck! How do you like Joementia calling Cruz a Nazi? (Conserving Consevatism, inc)"
LLR-lefty Chuck's biggest problem with Biden and most dems is that Chuck wishes those dems were as far left on policy as he is.
That was made obvious iver 4 years ago when Chuck came out for essentially the entirety of the AOC agenda. A rack exemplified by Chuck's over the top praise of Max Boot right after Max Boot first went Full Prostrate in writing to his his newest policy muse AOC.
If one pays attention, Chuck's most passionate praise for any abd all democratical ir FakeCon ALWAYS comes immediately on the heel of that democratical or FakeCon fully embracing a far left position.
walter said... Chuck! How do you like Joementia calling Cruz a Nazi? (Conserving Consevatism, inc)
I thought it was much funnier when Sen. Lindsey Graham (former prosecutor and JAG Corps Reserve officer) said, "If Ted Cruz was murdered on the floor of the Senate, and if the trial was in the Senate, you couldn't get a conviction."
Chuck was not clever enough or sober long enough to delete all his comments over the years which demonstrate his, undoubtedly uncontrollable, pathological lying.
You'd think Chuck would be smart enough to layoff the gin and tonics after he had been hilariously exposed as a FakeCon Moby....but then again, Chuck is gonna Chuck...every time.
Chuck: "Ah; and now the baseless, made up, personal-attack clutter from Drago. Buckle up; it's going to be a long night of clutter. On the Althouse blog where "Comments are always moderated."
Banned commenter LLR-lefty Chuck, who was banned, demands increased moderation on Althouse blog.
I agree 100%. A couple of days ago in a thread regarding clutter and obsolete "new" technology, I remarked that the radio is one thing that will never be obsolete. If Ann wishes to continue with her blog casts, I suggest Meade get busy researching and installing some kind of a SW broadcast system
Chuck said... I thought it was much funnier when Sen. Lindsey Graham (former prosecutor and JAG Corps Reserve officer) said, "If Ted Cruz was murdered on the floor of the Senate, and if the trial was in the Senate, you couldn't get a conviction." 1/8/21, 10:25 PM
That there is Chuck!'s brand of conservative. Weather vain Graham.
adSs: "It’s easy to imagine that they would also go full-Chuck if their POVs were the ones that rubbed Meadehouse the wrong way."
Its very important for those on the left to protect their fellow leftist Moby Chuck by absolving LLR-lefty Chuck for his many transgressions and then "imagine"-projecting Chuck's psycho behavior onto others.
It sure undercuts the argument that Twitter censorship is not a free speech issue when the alternatives are eliminated. Parler has been pulled from the Google Play store.
As predicted, McCain acolyte and "recently reelected due to Trump endorsement" Lindsay Graham 1.0 has returned, casting aside forever faux Lindsay 2.0.
Yancey Ward: “ The social media corporations are putting real targets on their heads as I write this- same goes with all the news media people cheering the censorship on. There are going to be assassinations of some these people in the coming months if they don't back off, but they are too drunk on their new power to see it coming.”
I agree with every word of this. I told friends today when I heard of the purges, and Twitter's lies about it, that there will be assassinations. If you wanted people who feel ignored, insulted, and cheated to feel like you are grinding your boot in their face this is exactly how you would act.
And from the early signs Biden will make it worse.
naricso, i am translating this from Castilian, so allow me some generosity, but the only real backstory to the Gatsby novel, in the literary world, is visible to poetry lovers in the best of Keats (Tender was the Night!) and Rossetti (Remember me when the winter snows come) ...
In the real world, Fitzgerald, after a deprived middle class childhood, liked having pretty women with expensive clothes around. That is the first thing you need to know about our young native genius. Sure he read a little romantic poetry here and there, but he was sort of unnerved by the fact that most beautiful women were not interested in a "novelist" who drank too much. SAD, he needed friends with testosterone, with friendship in their heart ..... he had no such friends, and got overexcited by a little bit of friendship with rich women with expensive clothes. SAD!!!! (yes, I read the little novel, and once again I say SAD!!!!)
That was all the novel was about, wasn't it : what is it like to live in a world where one's most fervent desire, a desire which you cannot ignore at the cost of not remembering what you think you remember, is to live a story, any story, with one or two rich beautiful women in it?
Sad! Almost all women are beautiful, the mediocracy of Fitzgerald was in not knowing that, in fashioning a novel based on the concept that only a few women are capable of engaging the love of a man. Poor little fellow! If only me and him had been friends, I would have taken him on long walks on cold winter days, shown him how to climb mountains, explained to him how the world works,,,,,, and he would have understood that he should have been a little less dazed by the beauty of rich young women in their 20s and 30s, which is a much better catchphrase than the Wagnerian chords that reverberate through his sadly outmoded little novel, written by the poor little M katz about pedestalized estrogen-enriched F katzes who were ----- and we all know this now - simply out of the league of our poor little poet, our poor little grad of poor mediocre early midcentury Princeton. What did he say, something about some boats someone else owned, miles away, which he looked at? If I am wrong, explain to me exactly how.
In plain English: The Great Gatsby is a wonderful work of art because of the sentences. Sadly, the author did not understand women, or men. Well, you might say, who are you (who am I) to say it is not worth reading" It is worth reading, but whoever you are, your life is more interesting if only you know what it means to love a fellow human being.
THAT IS WHY I BOTHER Delete that! and start over, and remember
there are people in this world who you love and who were created by God for you to love, be grateful for that. Proverbs 8 - trust me, I know what I am talking about.
And yes, stay off twitter, THE PEOPLE WHO RUN TWITTER DO NOT LIKE YOU THE WAY THEY SHOULD.
Does anyone remember when Trump blocked people on Twitter? A court ruled he couldn’t do that. The left cheered. Trump could not enforce rules on his timeline because his account was special.
Now suddenly @jack has untouchable, unquestionable property rights. But Trump as a species of tenant on the space didn’t .... One way specialness.
"la nuestra ultima esparanza esta la injusticia de Dios"
(the reason any of us is happy is because God is amused with us, and is enchanted when we for whatever reason understand we were created to be kind to each other, and sometimes to know what love is ----- "TO LOVE A FELLOW CREATURE IS TO UNDERSTAND THE REASON WHY GOD CREATED THAT CREATURE"
Don Colacho, who lived in a South American version of Greenwich Village, said that, I, WHO LIVE IN TODAYS USA, am quoting him tonight
Follow the 10 commandments better than you ever thought you could, never be unkind to a fellow creature, protect the weak, and for what it's worth, don't wonder for a second that I care one way or another if you are grateful for this good advice ....
Robert Barnes @barnes_law · 4h Courts said it violated First Amendment for Trump to block someone, but also said its totally ok for Twitter to completely block the world from someone's account.
Hi Coop! Glad to see you here even though I have pretty much written AA off. Somebody on Insty spoke up for her so I figured WTF check back in. I see adSs she'd his skin, guess the old handle wasn't pompous enough...
As for why you're wrong: if an outdoorsy friend to show him the real world was what he needed...have you ever heard of a fella named Ernest Hemingway?
But you could be better than Hemingway, sure. After all, you're not a commie rat who suck-started his own shotgun (for some reason, doubtless for less reason than you would have with all your pain).
The unanswered. Where did all Obambi's Munition requisitions go? Never answered never queried. Lotsa M-4s, Mossberg 500s, pistols and millions of rounds. Caused an ammo drought for how long? Acorn? Obamacare Navigators? Same groups actually.
Hemingway was a great guy in many ways, Orson Welles explained his last days were days when he was not himself, suffering from devastating disease that unnerved him....
Hemingway did not invite Fitzgerald to go on long hikes in the cold of winter, they just palled around in cities, spending francs on luxuries, doing metropolitan stuff, sad, they should have been good friends who treated this world as a cool place to be tough in, if you are able, not as a tourist destination
nobody really cares about the novels we could have read that were never written, but to be fair, you and me are talking about the same thing, and yes it would have been nice if many of us had been just a little less lazy, back in the day
not that it makes a difference, what makes a difference is (a) caring or (b) not caring
This bullshit about the app improving your experience is foolish shit for consumption by women. The app will NOT improve your download experience because that is controlled by you wireless/cell phone provider.......but it does improve the apps capability to upload shit from your mobile device.....with your location......and all your photos for facial recognition.
Trust me, Facebook can even recognize dogs in a picture
This is why they moved all the pregnant girls out of high school, and into the orphanage. The new app gave them lots of attention.
Yes, Virginia, there is a tracking-device-in-your purse.
1. To clarify: Limbaugh's Twitter account was not suspended or banned, he deactivated it himself. Twitter also put out a message to that effect.
2. So now Banned Chuck, who expressed confusion that his occasional post is deleted by moderation, has taken to spamming this blog with multiple copies of the same message. Isn't that what another banned commenter was reduced to doing in their last days here?
3. Sorry if my "taken out" post upset anyone, but the media is complicit in this and I won't be subservient Jew in Germany thinking (and saying) "let's be nice to our new masters and surely they will treat us well."
4. It appears that I misinterpreted the Hostess's post on DJT's incitement -- after reading her later comment on that same post. I apologize for asking if she was "high" and for calling her an ass. It seemed to me, at the time and while I was quickly scanning the post, that she was agreeing with the NYTimes. I regret the error.
Fitzgerald is one of my favorite American authors, Twain and Melville being the others of that time period. "Tender is the Night" is a DEPRESSING book that reminded me, when I read it, of a relationship I had with a beautiful, society-raised young woman that was a raging alcoholic. I ended our love affair when she refused to go to AA -- I said I could love an alcoholic but not a drunk. That was in the mid 80s. Since then she has accumulated four more DUIs (with subsequent revocation of driving privileges), many arrests for violence, a divorce, losing custody of her children (who now hate her), a lot of extra poundage and a life without assets, friends or family. When I read TITN, it was shortly after we broke up and it depressed me greatly.
THEOLDMAN
Her last DUI was for driving a golf cart on public streets to pick up take out food. She was intoxicated and spend 9 months in county for felony DUI.
So nasty Nancy is going to try to impeach the President with 2 weeks to go. Just goes to prove how much they hate us. Spending millions on this stupid idea just because of her extreme hate, instead of helping the millions of people in need right now. These people are pathetic. All this is going to do is divide us more, and she doesn't care. You reap what you sow. Just remember that....
Until Google decides that we shouldn't be talking about certain things.
How is it that Trump's twitter account is a public forum so he is not allowed to block users, and then the company can block his account? I am living in a frightening world of cognitive dissonance.
I too prefer applications which can be run on one's phone on the browser rather than via dedicated apps (programs) of unknown capability.
Apparently not realized by many people, there's really little need (and small advantage) to running the Facebook app on your phone — when running it (Facebook.com) on your browser (e.g. Safari on e.g. an iPhone) works perfectly well. (You can't Facebook Message — but then, I believe you now have to do that from within a separate Facebook app too.)
Indeed, evoking Facebook from within a browser offers the ability to keep several Facebook pages (browser tabs) open at once – which (as I understand it) the Facebook app does not.
Just watched the video at the New York Post of the violent insurrectionists breaking in to the capital building—the police opened the doors and the people walked in in an orderly fashion. All smiles and waving.
It’s starting to look like, when all is said and done, there was some bad behaviour, but very little violence. Confederate flag guy is Canadian, Pelosi podium stealer is not republican and has never voted in a Federal election.
This is mostly a media fantasy seized on by the Democrats to consolidate power.
The American people trust Trump with the power annihilate our enemies with nuclear weapons. Jack Dorsey has decided that Trump is too dangerous to use Twitter. Only a fool would trust the judgment of Dorsey over the judgment of the American people.
Isn't it amusing that Trump's political enemies have roamed free the last four years. I would not have been as restrained as our president has been. Bezos would have been living in Federal court defending anti-trust violations. NY Times reporters would be defending themselves for leaking national security secrets. Eric "Bangin' Fang" Swalwell and Adam Schiff would be doing likewise.
As the Commie-Pinko dems have demonstrated, the charges do not need an element of truth. Just bleed them with process.
Not everyone who left Twitter recently was involuntarily purged. I've had a Twitter account almost from the day it opened for business. I seldom tweet anything. I occasionally make a comment. I haven't worked at buiding a following so a retweet from me is irrelevant. But I, and a lot of people like me, decided not to be counted as a member of the Twitter community any longer. If anything of any value gets tweeted, someone will link it somewhere where I can see it, but it's mostly an online shithole so there's not much worth seeing.
Her last DUI was for driving a golf cart on public streets to pick up take out food. She was intoxicated and spend 9 months in county for felony DUI.
@Marcus, sad when the bottle means more to someone than life itself. This incident reminds me of a story about country singer George Jones when his wife hid his car keys to stop his drunk driving. He made the story into a hit song including the line “She might have taken my car keys, but she forgot about my old John Deere.”
I have every confidence the Deep State will restrain Trump from pressing the chicken switch.
You mean unelected bureaucrats? Humanity has spent thousands of years freeing themselves from the whims of un-elected bureaucrats. Whose side would you have been on in 1776, Howard?
Niemöller 2021 First they came for Trump, and I said nothing because I didn’t like him. Then they came for the right-wingers, and I said nothing because I didn’t like them. Then they came for the mainstream Republicans and I said nothing because I didn’t like them. Then they came for the libertarians and I said nothing because I didn’t like them. And then they came for me, and there was nobody left to speak for me. What does a ‘tenner” mean, comrade?
Tim: killing the cop turned it from cosplay to insurrection. The optics shifted, Good luck with that.
Shooting Scalise, using violence to make our election non-transparent, burning down thousands of small businesses, and lying about Trump's speech, and banning all dissenting voices from the internet turned it from politics to fascism.
"Our contemporary “experiment in democracy” is merely a blip on the scale of political history. As noble as this experiment might be, it contains its own fatal flaw – a flaw that we are just beginning to see materialize. Democracy is based on the Greek ideal of individual rights. Our constitution endorses this view of inalienable rights. This ideal is both its triumph and its downfall, for as men come to believe that they are entitled to rights simply because they are alive, they come to believe that whatever they wish for themselves should be the law of the land. In other words, men begin to think that their personal desires are their rights. When the majority of the people finally adopt this view, society collapses into personal power plays. We are experiencing just the tip of the iceberg of this deadly consequence."

Readering,
As a Giants fan who moved from SF to LA in 1969, I hated Lasorda.

Yikes!

1) To lie about and smear Trump
2) To drive a wedge between Althouse and ger readers.

I agree with every word of this. I told friends today when I heard of the purges, and Twitter's lies about it, that there will be assassinations. If you wanted people who feel ignored, insulted, and cheated to feel like you are grinding your boot in their face this is exactly how you would act.

naricso, i am translating this from Castilian, so allow me some generosity, but the only real backstory to the Gatsby novel, in the literary world, is visible to poetry lovers in the best of Keats (Tender was the Night!) and Rossetti (Remember me when the winter snows come) ...
I think anyone on Twitter, which you should never have been on in the first place, should get off. Facebook is worse.

THEOLDMAN
Never download apps. Security risk.

It’s starting to look like, when all is said and done, there was some bad behaviour, but very little violence. Confederate flag guy is Canadian, Pelosi podium stealer is not republican and has never voted in a Federal election.

Parler on my iphone is working just fine.
Nobody beats Randy Travis for spectacular DUI's.
People trust the system, Lewis. I have every confidence the Deep State will restrain Trump from pressing the chicken switch.
Looks Like they’ve taken down Donald Trump’s email list. How long do you think it is before they suspend his bank accounts?
The Liberals swooning of the ability of big tech colluding with government is perfect. But not surprising.
You’ll be seeing a lot more of these articles in the coming days. Whoever thought Europe would be beacon of light?

You mean unelected bureaucrats?
Humanity has spent thousands of years freeing themselves from the whims of un-elected bureaucrats.
Whose side would you have been on in 1776, Howard?
Any nooses seen in Washington were strictly Mussolini and not Emmett Till versions.

First they came for Trump, and I said nothing because I didn’t like him.

The optics shifted, good luck with that.
Apple, and Google have removed Parler from the App Store, and google play.
Parler has not been removed from Apple's App Store. I downloaded it just this morning.
Thanks Michael. I saw a report both had pulled Parler, and tried google, assumed the reporting(stupid me) was accurate.
Apple gave Parler 24 hours. Parler has already been removed from the Google Play store.

Dozens of cops have been killed. Several assassinated. Explain why this cop is so significant

Skip Moen, Ph.D.
And explain it to his family.
Do I call him Dr Skip?
