"Can you tell me please, who won?"
A somewhat pathetic question, no?
I mean, in these United States, in the twenty-first century, and so on.
It's almost as if some people don't want to tell you just yet, however nicely you ask.
None of which I mean as a criticism of Althouse.
Who won? Biden, at current count by 2.8M votes. Oh you mean the electoral college? Biden is winning, 270 electoral votes to 268, with a chance that his lead will slip away in the final tallies, but an even bigger chance his margin will increase to 290 to 248, possibly even higher.

Who won? Trump.
The more relevant question is: who's gonna steal it?
I think we all know the answer to that one.

This will get Jeffrey Toobin excited.
Why do you care who won? You didn't care enough to vote.
Looking over California- the attempt to get around Prop 13 initiative seems to have failed, but could still make up the 4% margin. The initiative to remove the ban on affirmative action failed, but did it really matter any more- who was enforcing it?
The Republicans might be down to a single state senator out of 39. They look better in the State Assembly, but are powerless in their minority.
No wonder California can't keep the lights on the forests from burning to the ground- there is no political discipline in the state any longer- no consequences for failure. The rest of the country's future, I fear.

Perfect.
If Biden wins, "squandered" will not be the correct word to describe what the press has done to their credibility.
Ann. I think you might enjoy this performance by a much-matured John Sebastian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GH3bgLY0TnQ
I listened for the first time today while I was doing paperwork. I must say, I enjoyed it!
