Fine. Serve pudding with the debate... senile vs equally senile. Great TV.
Once the debates come around it, and Trumps runs circles around slow joe, it'll be over.
Let's just say that the two are not equal where senility is concerned. Where the gentlemen in question are equal is in the braggadocio department. Each is a fabulist in his own way.
2016 was a hate Hillary election, 2020 will be a hate Trump election.
Nope. Context helps Trump, because it demonstrates his colloquial way of speaking off-the-cuff.
But go ahead and try that.

How did that work out for Hillary?
No - Trump has not shown cognitive decline. His speaking pattern has always been weird. On the other hand, Biden has slipped considerably over the last four years. He has always been gaff prone but he now is forgetting names, etc.
Thus, he [Trump] ran against Clinton on the absurd grounds that she was corrupt when he was vastly more so
From an earlier of nitwit journo's tweets. It's that "absurd" that shows how far they have to go to reach the shore of reality again. A distant shore!
Trump is doing a performance when he's performing.
It gets harder to beat Trump when you keep fighting an imaginary Trump who only exists in your own mind. Trump has spent the last four years repeatedly standing on stages and talking for the better part an hour. You may not like what he says or how he says it but he NEVER looks or sounds like Biden.
Mike
The problem is that Trump actually makes sense except to people who are heavily invested in pretending he doesn’t. So it’s an argument that only works with people the Democrats already have sewn up. Trump is not going to be "warned off.”
Obama acted like a dictator within his own party, you know the kind, the ones who dispose of every person who is a threat to actually be able to govern.
This is also a repercussion of Obamacare, which wiped out a generation of moderate Democrats. Democrats like Bill Clinton was, who could poach right leaning independents.
Trump is, above all else, aware of the camera and how to play to multiple cameras. Biden is simply unaware due to dementia. The debates will be sad, fading trumpet note for Biden.
So the MSM admits Biden is cognitively challenged. And the best it can do is hope voters call it a wash. That's not an argument from a position of strength.
ARM wants everybody to hate Trump. Racist fopdoodles abide.
Look at that comment from Inga about Trump conducting an imaginary orchestra when Hail to the Chief was played. Who doesn’t understand that as a normal little winking joke? Democrats who are pretending not to.
It might have been weird if there was an orchestra and Trump was actually trying to conduct them in some weird way, but that kind of stuff is from the world where Spock wears a beard.
Having personal experience watching my own mother’s dementia and how it progressed I believe Joe is in the early stages. His behavior and my mother’s are quite similar. Trump, I see no signs of dementia at all. Yes, he sometimes talks funny or says weird things but I see nothing in his speech or behavior that suggest dementia. If I were a Democrat and a Biden supporter I would be very worried about a debate between the two as I believe Joe’s condition will.become quite visible to everyone.
Obamacare was like that coup in Turkey. It consolidated all power behind the maximum leader. The big problem with that was the POTUS term limit. Wow was that a good idea.
The thing is a transcript of Trump speaking sounds ridiculous, but said out loud it works. This is not the case with Biden. Trump might very well sound the same way as Biden when he gets that old, but he's not yet.
Never been to one of his rallies, but clips I've seen sound like a good showman doing improvisation. No way Biden could do anything like that right now.
Sad!
As soon as the convention begins, especially if Biden has enough delegates, you're going to start hearing stories from the MSM that Biden has lost it. Georgie over at ABC will probably be first. Then Hillary steps forward to "save the party and the nation".

ARM's dementia is at present more interesting than Biden's.
2016 was a hate Hillary election, 2020 will be a hate Trump election.
You do realize that Trump's approval ratings are going up, and turnout at Republican primaries is high despite an uncontested race, even after five years of attacks from Democrats and their allies in the MSM...right? Trump is much more popular now than he was in 2016.
What exactly are people going to hate him for besides the fact that he beat Hillary in 2016?
My prediction: If Biden is the nominee, he will refuse to debate Trump on the grounds that he doesn't want to legitimize him as a candidate.
So, if we compare Joe speaking in front of the massive crowds he inspires vs Trump speaking in front of his crowds it will be a wash? Sure. Or maybe the difference in the size of the crowds may tell us a little bit about the difference in how well they speak.
So, let me see; if i've got this right?
The Democrats are saying:
Don't vote for that weird talking, old, white guy
Vote for THIS weird talking, old, white guy
BECAUSE!
That wtowg (weird talking old white guy) is THEIRS
WHILE THIS wtowg is OURS!
And OURS will confiscate your Ar-14's AND take away cheep oil!!!
Do i have that right?

I agree, we'll see less and less (and less and less) of Jo Biden from now on
"Cruelly Neutralized"
The only people who are willing to believe Trump is senile - as opposed to non-PC and blustery - are hardcore partisans who were never going to vote Trump. The issue has not been neutralized to anyone who matters.
MBunge: It gets harder to beat Trump when you keep fighting an imaginary Trump who only exists in your own mind.
Buying into their own bullshit is the Dems' greatest weakness. I see no reason to discourage the habit.
If they want to pour resources into running Biden and "Trump is senile" ads simultaneously, I say have at, my friends.
It gets harder to beat Trump when you keep fighting an imaginary Trump who only exists in your own mind. Trump has spent the last four years repeatedly standing on stages and talking for the better part an hour. You may not like what he says or how he says it but he NEVER looks or sounds like Biden.
Seems like they only trust Biden to stand in front of people for short periods of time. Last couple of speeches were less than 10 minutes.
There is a tradition where I come from in NJ of yanking losing candidates half way through the election and replacing them on the ballot with someone they think can win. Example: Lautenberg replacing Toricelli. Biden's job was to stop Bernie. Expect a switcheroo shortly after the convention.
The hivemind talking point.
If Biden/Bloomberg bombarded the airwaves now with ads showing Trump speaking nonsensically at his rallies or in interviews
The MSM has been doing that for you all along, they even do the editing and misquoting to make it sound as if Trump really is speaking nonsensically, just like you want it to sound.
Trump wins a senility push. Low expectations, high Adderall makes Mighty Joe look smaller. We all wish Biden goes on Sudafed extra strength. Since Joe stutters, maybe he can petition to have more time during the debates to make it fair.
Trump occasionally speaking nonsensically it's completely normal in a healthy male. It's a tick like stuttering only less frequent
I think Ben Adler's got something there.
"(b)ombard the airwaves now with ads showing Trump speaking nonsensically", because you know, these have never been shown to the public. Once they see them they'll have to realize that Trump is a babbling buffoon. Oh, and evil.
"Biden's apparent senility will only hurt him against Trump if they (Biden's campaign) let it", because, you know, sticks and stones.
Biden should stress his experience as a lifeguard. Trump can't match that.
It will be interesting to see how the DNC manages to keep Biden out of debates entirely. They will create a reason to refuse participation, which will be Trump's fault, of course and will prevent Trump from a one on one, which they know would be devastating.
It’s not clear to me that Glenn Greenwald is disagreeing with Ben Adler. I think he is agreeing with Adler. Sad and depressed at the prospect, but not saying it is wrong.
The Hillary thing didn't work, so the Dems are going to try the Obama campaign without Obama, which will work out as well as Roseaneless Roseanne. An appalling lack of creativity, besides being cruel to Biden.
If Biden gets the nomination, I believe he'll have to debate Trump. If he refuses or somehow begs off, it will not redound well to him.
My prediction: If Biden is the nominee, he will refuse to debate Trump on the grounds that he doesn't want to legitimize him as a candidate.
I also agree. Trump might do a few empty chair debates, like Clint did.

"Fmr. Bloomberg adviser Tim O'Brien: "If Republicans really want to make an issue out of Hunter Biden ... there is going to be a scorched earth response aimed at all of the Trump children that is going to be unlike anything they've experienced thus far." "
If we all cared about Biden's corruption, Biden would be laughed off the stage.
Remember when we were alternating Bushes and Clintons and it seemed like that would go on forever? The strategic geniuses in the Dem Party still think we're on that carousel.
Trump is the president. Biden is not.
I think we give home field advantage to POTUS.
But enjoy your dreamscapes.
I know you are, but what am I?
If 2020 is the “Hate Trump” election he wins in a walkover.
Maybe the Dems should hire Aaron Sorkin to write the presidential campaign from here on out.
tim O'Brien, is so far in his own bubble, he ran into john Travolta,
Trick some people into thinking Joe Biden is really Josiah Bartlett.
I don't think Joe has dementia. There has always been weird things to come out of his mouth, like when he was running for president as a young man. He does seem to forget things people his age often do- not a good sign if you're trying to be Presidential.
Trump has funny ways of stringing thoughts together when he's improvising for a few hours. It never sounds senile or lacking in lucidity to me. I bet it does to anyone who doesn't like him. It's wishful thinking...
They've already tried showing Trump "speaking nonsensically". It didn't work because it's not the same thing and that is clear. The false equivalence is the Dems go to in any argument.
This kind of reminds me of when the Democratic party ran John Kerry against W. Bush, only stupider.
Are there any actual examples of Trump doing a Biden? You know like completely forgetting what he has practiced saying, or saying nonsensical phrases, or talking about children playing with his leg hair, or pointless cornpop stories, and that's just a few recent examples. Where are the Trump parallels to that dribble? If we had them, we'd be seeing them nonstop. They will try with stuff taken out of context to sound wrong, but Biden's gaffs are in context with no editing required. In other words, it's real dementia. The Democrats have dropped every standard they ever had in pursuit of Trump, and now they will support and vote for someone completely incapable of doing the job. They have no credibility left.
""If Republicans really want to make an issue out of Hunter Biden ... there is going to be a scorched earth response aimed at all of the Trump children that is going to be unlike anything they've experienced thus far.” "
Good, let’s have the facts. Is Bloomberg withholding facts from the electorate to use as leverage against Trump investigating corruption?
Maybe the Dems should hire Aaron Sorkin to write the presidential campaign from here on out.
If you look up Sorkinisms- they are a combination of recycling witty cliches and lucid but disconnected streams of thought. Like Trump...
Many of you mention the perils for Biden in debating Trump. But I think the moderators will protect Biden and the expectations for Biden's performance will be set so low, he will look like he won.
rehajm, I would encourage to watch an unedited Biden appearance from the last few weeks. he does ok reading the teleprompter, but even then once in a while he loses his place and there is a completely lost look on his face. and when he goes off script, he is immediately lost. it looks like he doesn't always know what he's saying, and his emotional projections are not appropriate to the sentiment: he's just yelling. you can also see the fear on his face when he realizes he needs to get back to his speech, and he does weird segues like stopping mid-sentence and saying stuff like "aw, you didn't want me getting all worked up about this."
this is a guy who's been giving political speeches his entire life, and that's something he used to do very well. his biggest asset, actually, which only hurt him when the content was lifted from other people, say. it's coginitive decline and it's not a mild, age related slowing down, either.
Both Trump and Biden have developed political characters as their public personas. Trump has a character that he plays based on his years of TV reality show and wrestling. He found that it played well to conservative audiences and used it well to his advantage. When you listen to old interviews of Trump it’s clear that he is more intelligent than the character that he plays might be suspected to be,
Biden for decades has also a persona based on the regular blue collar guy who rode the train into DC every day. Part of this persona is acting like he’s the guy who will take on a fight.
They both use these personas to paper over their lack of detailed knowledge when speaking extemporaneously. I’m not saying that to belittle either of them, it’s just patently true that neither is a policy wonk. But of the two, Trumps performance in this regard has remained consistent (if anything his public speaking has improved) while Biden is clearly less adept than he was in the past. He’s always sort of started sentences and then trailed off at times but now he does it constantly. It also seems like he’s used to doing that frequently when the audience reacts (using the crowd noise as an excuse to not finish his sentences) but now the crowd enthusiasm is so lackluster that it just doesn’t work.
I’m not sure that this is Alzheimer’s (and generally don’t think such a diagnosis can or should be made from a distance) but even if it’s just normal cognitive slowing and senescence it’s not good. Why would someone think their qualified for one of the hardest jobs on the planet in that state (and why would voters agree to give home the job??)
Trump should challenge Biden to a def poetry jam.
The media are going to prop up Biden and circle the wagons to the hilt. Look at how they treated Biden with yesterdays' gaffe. Imagine if Trump insulted and lashed out at his supporters in that way? The media would be wall to wall over it.
Joe Biden 2020
Equally Unfit.
Clyburn calls for shutting Dem primary down, canceling debates
By holding his endorsement over Biden's head Obama is going to have complete control over the VP pick. Deval Patrick? Holding the black vote is critical for the Dems. Everyone knows the Dem VP is really who is running for President. Pence is wooden on a debate stage, and they might be able to offset Trump beating Biden like a rented mule by winning the VP debates.
There has been, to my knowledge, only one candidate ever replaced during a presidential election - 1972 when Thomas Eagleton was replaced by Sargent Shriver. Look how well that worked for the Democrats.
Biden is likely going into the convention with a clear majority of delegates at this point. The clear second choice is Bernie. (And why does everyone consistently use given name for Bernie and surname for Biden?) If Biden is sidelined at the convention and the nomination doesn't go to Bernie, well, the young Bernie Bros aren't going to vote for the Democrat candidate. If he's replaced after the convention, I strongly suspect a lot of people are going to be turned off by the Democrat Party shenanigans. They are in a classic no win situation for which they have only themselves to blame.
What will it take to restore sanity to the Democratic party?
In their eyes, teh resistance of teh Democrats will remain heroic.
"...why does everyone consistently use given name for Bernie and surname for Biden?"
Signage. Bernie's signs say "Bernie," while Biden's signs say "Biden."
Equally senile?
Trump's on his game. Biden obviously not.
Something to keep in mind. Trump as a big-time businessman has always been in a leadership role. Biden on the other hand has never lead. In the Senate he was one of 100; as Obama's VP he was a follower, directed by Obama/Jarrett as what he was to be doing. He's not a leader. And on this current campaign his non-leadership is quite evident. Jill, the non-doctor Doctor Jill, is doing a lot of the stage-management.
Trump has been President for three years. He has held countless rallies. He has shown almost super-human energy and stamina, especially for someone his age. He has a peculiar speaking style, but the country recognizes it and has gotten used to it.
Biden, even without the "gaffes," sounds old, tired, and void of energy. He gave a speech yesterday in Columbus, Ohio, which I watched live. (Ironically, it was on the topic of gun control, several hours after his argument with the worker in Detroit where he denied wanting to take his guns.) Biden didn't make any obvious mistakes, but he literally drained the energy from the room. I don't think he has the physical strength to do what's required of him, much less the intellectual capacity. Trump won't need a debate to prove that Biden's time has past.
Joe gets the nomination. Then he addresses the convention and says he just doesn't have the energy anymore to compete in the general election and cannot in good faith accept the nomination. Obama rushes over Hillary's hotel suite and returns with Hillary in tow. Hillary then addresses the convention and says in light of what just happened, and out of her deep love for her country, she must offer herself as a candidate for president. The convention immediately votes to offer her the nomination. And the chaos begins.

If Biden loses, but they retain the House, I think they'll only double down on their present insanity and play the impeachment card again. It's all they have.

Lack of detailed knowledge... interesting phrase. Detailed knowledge of what? Trump has demonstrated an ability to get things done, the biggest example being the Wollman Rink. NYC and it's myriad of politicians had failed to repair and get the ice rink in operation, over years of trying. DO you honestly think Trump had any idea of all the details involved in ice rink construction? What he does know is how to hire the people who do and get them to do the job, properly.
Jimmy Carter was a policy wonk. Look how that turned out. Trump is a manager. An early story from his administration was that he was asked if a certain military operation should proceed. Trump asked pretty much 1. Do they know what they're doing? 2. Does it meet previously stated objectives? 3. Why are you asking me since 1 and 2 are yes? He trusts people below to do their jobs - and woe be unto them if they screw up. Look at the Alabama primary and who he endorsed for an example.
People should be in jail already over the Russian collusion hoax. And the new presiding FISA judge has pretty much said so. Fallout from that is far from over. And, if you've been following, they're questioning people about the illegal server....
"same day voter registration" = how the democrats steal elections.
"What will it take to restore sanity to the Democratic party?"
I don't see it happening. They'd have to be extricated, job by job, from the DNC and every state committee, from academia and the media, from foundations, and now they're on corporate board. It's hundreds of thousands of jobs that they'll defend one by one.

This I do not agree with. I would encourage you to go find an old debate or talk show appearance of Biden as a younger man. It will look familiar...
"Joe Biden 2020

Yeah. Watching ARM and Inga try to make this argument here, I can only goggle in wonder. Do the Dems truly not understand how, every time they float this line of reasoning, they're undermining themselves? It passes belief that a mighty political party, with the weight of the media on their side, has chosen this as their strategy. Abject surrender.
Lack of detailed knowledge... interesting phrase. Detailed knowledge of what?
Yeah I was trying to preempt this kind of pushback by saying that I wasn’t implying criticism. As you correctly go on to elaborate in your comment, policy wonks are often ineffective anyway.
My point is just that both Biden and Trump speak like “regular guys”. One of them though (Trump) is effective, energetic, and has improved over time. The other (Biden) lacks energy and has deteriorated over time. Based on that comparison I don’t think the idea that “Trump talks like he’s senile too!” holds water.
Equally senile, hmm -- yeah, go with that.
Of course, in this age of the interwebs, there's video of Trump speaking off the cuff to large crowds for over an hour, idiosyncratically but coherently, putting on an energetic show, with riffs appreciated even by fisker-in-chief Althouse.
Here we go again. That strategy to make The Communicator in Chief look as senile as Slow Joe relies onAmerican voters being stupid. They deserve to lose.
There is really something shocking about the Democrat primary turning into a contest between a senile old grifter and a demagogic old commie. If we had a legitimate media, the Party would be a laughing stock.
Biden is the choice of the Democrat elite because he’s a crook. They have much to protect.
https://therevolutionaryact.com/democrats-alinsky-their-own-to-save-biden-from-jail/
All of the defenses of Biden on this point are amusing anyway.
The Dems are stuck with either, “Hey, Joe’s not senile, he’s always been this way!”
Or,
“So even if Joe is senile, he’s no worse than POTUS who we’ve been calling for removal of!”
Not really any good way to play this hand, guys.
Thee fundamental problem with this strategy is the idea that you can, with a handful of ads, change how people think about someone who's been on TV daily for four years. It's far too late to try to start the "Trump is senile" attack, only partisans trying to shore up Biden will pretend to believe it. Everybody already knows what they think of Trump.
Really, it's absurd, the continuing left-wing belief in the power of advertising. From the old theory in the 1950s that GM had won capitalism forever because it was able to use advertising to artificially create demand for its products, to the still-current idea that the rich can buy elections (never mind Bloomberg and Steyer), the left has absolute faith that you can mind-control the American people with the right pitch and ad blitz.
Biden wins the primary with all his shortcomings and virtually no campaign on the ground. That tells us Bernie's a terrible candidate.
Trump barely beat Hillary Clinton, who was a terrible candidate. All Biden has to do is be less terrible than Hillary. This he will do.
Trump's in trouble in November.

They are going to prop Biden up in front of a teleprompter, Bloomberg runs the attack ads and informatics, the DNC handles the ground game and Trump is Trump. Betting against Biden under these circumstances doesn't seem particularly wise. He may lose but he has a good chance of winning. It's incredible, I know, but here we are.
“So even if Joe is senile, he’s no worse than POTUS who we’ve been calling for removal of!

Why ever would Democrats want a corrupt and senile president? Biden isn’t corrupt, Trump is. Both have cognitive deficits. If we Democrats have to have a senile president, at least he should at least be a Democrat. Also, we Democrats want a Democratic House and Senate. Down ticket voting is a factor.

This morning I get to hear Chuck on the radio. He called in to WJR to talk about a local republican mayor that hates Trump and voted for Biden.
I'll have more on the call later, but suffice it to say he's authentic. Wow.
Biden's MO was to use his access to power to enable his family to skim and scam.
There's Hunter, the energy expert..but there's also his brother, the health care expert whose company was just raided by FBI.
C'mon man!
No joke!
Lefties: Biden and Trump are exactly the same in terms of mental condition!
Conservatives: We are totally cool with Trump spending hour and hour speaking extemporaneously at rallies and public events every week and holding 30 minute to 45 minute Q&A's with hostile press members every other day.
Lefties: We need to limit Biden to 5 or 10 minutes at a time in public appearances; We need to limit Biden public appearances; We need to change debate rules to let Biden sit during the debates and allow questions from the audience; We need to stack audiences with democrat partisans who will ask only pre-rehearsed answers; and on and on it goes.
But yeah, once you discount all the differences its easy to say there are no differences!
I'm afraid Inga is reduced to lying dog-faced pony soldier in defending Biden.
But without being soldier....and without a pony.

Did they have to bleep out his profanities?
Let me get this out there while it's still fresh in my memory-
Listening to the radio on the way to an errand, was listening to WJR (Detroit), the Frank Beckman show (talk radio). The last hour he takes calls from listeners. The subject was the Sterling Heights republican mayor that voted for Biden.
All the callers were incensed, then about the 3rd caller Frank said "Now, let's go to Oakland county...missed the rest.
Fist thing out of this guy's mouth is "I'm a life-long Republican". Goes into a spiel how he held hi nose and voted for Trump, now hates the guy personally, says there a many life-long republicans just like him.
He must have said "life-long republican 5 times in one minute, to the point the wife chuckled and said "this sounds like Chuck!"
Franks asks him why he hates Trump personally, this guy goes on about paying off hookers and lying hundreds of times a day. Franks says, well, you have to be careful calling everything a lie, and asks this guy if he's bothered by all the lies told about Trump, namely Russian collusion, FISA spying, Mueller and what not.
This guy, he says not so fast Frank. I have a copy of the Mueller report. No lies, Trump is not innocent.
Then this guy tells Frank he's going to send him a copy of (inaudible) written by (Inaudible).
Franks busts out laughing "THAT GUY IS A NEVER TRUMPER!" how is he credible? This guy says "Hey, he's a lifelong republican just like me.
Finally, wrapping up the call Franks says go ahead and sent it to me. Then Frank says...
...thanks for the call Chuck.
My jaw dropped.

I agree with some that Biden drops out of the race before the convention, after he has enough votes to deny the nomination to Sanders.
At the convention, there will be a Wellstone-like funeral for Joe's mind. Major Democrats will eulogize him, highlighted by Obama praising him for doing it for the sake of the Party. There will be cheers and tears. Biden will have a short ten-minutes to speak, the waves of appreciation and love will flow forth.
He will release his delegates to maybe no one and then exits stage left, or right, or off the front of the stage of history.
Cut. Print it.

I should add Frank asked him to name a lie, this guy said it would literally take him all day to name them, but didn't name a single one. Unexpectedly, as Drago would say.

I should note that I believe Fullmoon and possibly others have called out LLR-lefty Chuck for posting his typical pro-left schtick on other websites and chat blogs.
If these are indeed the work of our LLR-lefty Chuck, then it would simply provide additional evidence upon the already existing mountain of evidence that LLR-lefty Chuck is anything but a "lifelong republican".

I’m a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over. If you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden. Give me a look though, okay?”
----Joe Biden
Problem with Greenwald’s tweet is that Trump doesn’t exhibit neurological impairment in his public appearances. Biden does. Nothing has to be doctored with Biden. Whatever it is that he exhibits is as plain as the nose on his face. Not so with Trump. He has suffered from a avalanche of fake news, out of context quotes, utter misconstruals of what he’s said and so on such that eventually the distortions have come back to bite their purveyors in the ass. Now everything they try to pin on Trump is one more cry of wolf, wolf be there or not. Showing Trump as neurologically impaired would be fake news and the more it’s done the more it will redound badly on those issuing it and all to Trump’s benefit. Plus, Greenwald is slippery with “nonsense.” He conflates silliness with neurological defect.

And don't forget to keep the record player on at night.
"Trump has dementia" is not a winner for the Dems.
First, the word "dementia" in any form between now and November is not a winner when Biden is constantly in their living rooms.
But second, setting up Trump to look super-sharp in the first debate against Biden when people expect him to be equally dim-witted is political suicide.
Not even Donna Brazile will be able to smile her way through that.
Poor James Carville.
Out of the frying pan of socialism and into the fire of dementia.
I don't think he planned on Biden being the one left standing.
What's My Age Again?
Blink-182
I took her out, it was a Tuesday night
I wore cologne to get the feeling right
I started sniffing hair, she said she was my sis
But then I turned on the TV
And that's about the time she walked away from me
Nobody likes you when you're seventy three
And I'm still more amused by TV shows
What the hell is A.D.D.?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
Then later on, on the drive home
Called Pelosi from my new iPhone
I said I was the cops
And your husband's in jail
The state looks down on sodomy
And that's about the time that bitch hung up on me
Nobody likes you when you're seventy three
And I'm still more amused by prank phone calls
What the hell is call ID?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age…
And that's about the time we went to Milwaukee
Nobody likes you when you're seventy three
And you still act like you're in freshman year
What the hell is wrong with me?
My friends say I should act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
That's about the time I broke the DNC
No one should take themselves so seriously
With many years ahead to fall in line
Maybe they voted for the other Biden
I never want to act my age
What's my age again, what's my age again?
What's my age again?
... Seriously, how old am I?
