Leland म्हणाले...: MLB announces Astros punishment for sign stealing. As an Astros fan, if the Mike Fiers allegations are true as described; then I think this punishment is a bit light. But that's because it takes something for a purpose built camera CCTV to the dugout. However, the information in the press release says it was mostly player driven activity, which suggests something like a in stadium video feed that everyone had access to, but probably shouldn't have been in the dugout (except how do you check for instant replays calls), and shouldn't have been used for sign stealing. If that's the case, then I understand a lighter sentence, but why put it on the GM and Head Coach only?

Also, the report says Alex Cora was involved in setting up the system but will not be punished unless a separate investigation of Red Sox sign stealing comes up with something. That investigation was announced last week after the Oakland A's (again, as Mike Fiers as an A's pitcher made the allegation against Houston) complained.; १३/१/२०, २:१८ PM
