I calculated the climate sensitivity in a temporary standstill period (or slightly decreasing) as it was detected in the observations of the EEI during 1999 to 2018. The ECS value of 1.72K as the best estimate is in excellent agreement with the value found in LC18, 1.66K using the then current C&W GMST dataset (see Tab.3 of this paper).
The published ECS-values of the CMIP6 models have a mean above 4 K (see this recent paper) that is higher by a factor of 2.4 than observed here. This growing discrepancy between observed values of ECS reduces the credibility of the high model estimates.

The most striking thing about the Dem case against Trump is the assumption that the quid pro quo Trump supposedly sought, namely a Ukrainian investigation of Biden wrongdoing, was meant to and would have hurt Trump's likely opponent.

He said that (1) the issue wasn't material to the Clinton impeachment, since Clinton had been charged with actual crimes, (2) because it didn't matter, he went along with the scholarly consensus at the time, and (3) the issue does matter here because Trump has not been charged with a crime, and (4) he has since become aware of better arguments against his prior position (which he explained at length)..

Dershowitz is a gifted teacher. I only tuned in during a commercial break on another station, but his conversational style drew me in. His arguments were lucid and easy to follow and presented with occasional glints of humor. Although my bias is in favor of the President, I zoned out the other speakers. The arguments, pro and con, are tedious, but those presented by Dershowitz seemed logical, interesting and persuasive. I stuck with him for a full half hour before switching back over to the Cartoon Network. I can see where Dershowitz earns the high fees he charges. It was an impressive performance.

Mark Levin says it, too. They apparently think Jefferson coined a new name for us (or for we?), to be used in all cases, when he was simply being grammatically correct. Jefferson knew when to say "us", and he did it many times.
