attempting this image Plein Air would call for every single different tube of Blue, there's a need for so many! Blues are demandingly distinct, so different, this seems to demand them all.

I think "hate crime" is a way to deflect attention from the crime that occurred and control the narrative with speculation as to what might have been in the perpetrator's mind when he committed it.

I went to the Clemson v OSU football game in Phoenix this weekend. Great game. But if you ever start getting down on the decline of the USA, take a look at and mingle with the crowd. The nicest folks ever. Tough, excited, but polite. Lotta veterans. Lotta beer drinkers. Lotta disposable income too, apparently.

I estimate the crowd was 70-30 Trump supporters, and 80-20 against impeachment, although we didn’t talk much politics.Too much high quality football to enjoy.

A beautiful blue and white sky above (the type of sky we rarely see in California). Below the sky is a thin strip of black, a pencil line, a division between heaven and earth. In the middle, just below the pencil line is a diffusion of light scattered by rippled water, it's between the heaven and the earth.

In the foreground is the imperfect reflection on the water of the beauty of the sky above.

Spring like photo, yet to be brief I suspect.

Went for a walk this afternoon, experienced several forms of precipitation during my 40 minute stroll: rain, sleet, and snow. The warmth of my house, and melting of the bit of ice that accumulated in my beard was great upon my return. I love this time of year.

Azure. Don't forget azure.

The OSU fight song is the French military march Le Regiment de Sambre-et-Meuse. In WWI the French switched from dark blue coats w/pantalons rouge to "horizon bleu."

history, narciso, as you know, does not repeat itself.
God loves us all, and wants us to be at our best ....
which we are when we hope for a better future for everyone we care about.

Of all the Roman Emperors, there were a few were fun to be around. Most deserved utter contempt, but there were a few were all right in their sad little way, as the years ticked on .....
Of the Judean Kings, and the Israelite kings, there was that dichotomy which is important to understand .... Asa was all right .....
but none of the kings in one of the directions, north or south, were GOOD and a few of the kings in the other direction, north or south, were good ....
Chronicles and The Book of Kings are quite clear on that, I guess.

perhaps the worst people we meet are mere chimeras, put into our life by a God who wants us to have a little practice in confronting bad people before that day where God relies on us to face people who are real , not chimeras, and who are not all that nice, and to either do what is kind and Godly and pray for what is good or to just say "where are the potato chips" and "I am gonna relax on the couch for a while and watch TV and munch on the potato chips and drink Coke from the bottle" ..... well, i am in a good mood tonight, as i am every night, and I am sure there is a chance that those you love are pleasing to God while they sit on the couch and vegetate in front of the TV while somewhere in their soul praying for what is good .... but for God's sake I wold be happier if fewer food people vegetated on couches .... (you see I remember the poor Roman Empire and its vulnerability to laziness .... just saying ....)

people are complicated.
as are rats, which is why I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN MY FAVORITE DRAWER OF RATS without an explanation
stopped drawing rats. SAD!

If there is one thing I can't stand, it is female sttorneys - some of the most privileged on this planet - play the victim card.

I give you Lisa Page:

"Plus one big difference: I am not just an FBI target of the President, but a female one. So his followers understand that I'm therefore different, and "deserving" of a special kind of hatred, a vile reduction of my whole existence into body parts and sex acts."

while her luvah, Peetah Hissss-choke, feels that his privacy was violated.

In documents filed, Strzok claims that the FBI and Justice Department violated his rights of free speech and privacy by firing him for text messages that criticized President Trump.

Why hasn't he sued his wife for turning over the contents of the phone to the government?

A fabulous game. I will toss what I think is a munificent bone to Ohio State. OSU is the only team outside of the South that could compete in the SEC. That is high praise.

Hunter Biden's bank account records reveal a $156 million counterfeiting scheme involving Ukrainian gas firm Burisma and the cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, according to a new legal filing in an Arkansas paternity case. The document, filed Friday by the Florida-based private-eye firm D&A Investigations, intends to notify the court of "felonies including Fraud and Counterfeiting." The document names Burisma, the gas company that hired Biden to the board while his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, was the Obama administration point person on Ukraine, and CrowdStrike, which investigated the hacking of DNC emails in 2016....

Brief glimpse at a clearing sky about to unleash cold wind. Eerie beauty. Dark Winter's freezer blast. Winds blowing hard from north. Dress warm. A sturdy long coat, gloves, good boots, and face protection

For face protection, a "neck warmer - neck gaiter - balaclava without the hat" works well and look good in the sometimes windy Rocky Mountains alpine villages. No need to take them off inside; they look like scarf or turtle neck when not deployed as the protector of your neck and face. They warm your neck constantly or just keep out the cold drafts. When pulled up over your nose and ears, they protect most of your face from arctic cold wind. A good winter hat on top of it with some glasses and no cold wind will bother your head and neck.

If it is a or night not fit for the abominable snow monster, belay parkas can keep your core warm if you just want to chill outside and feel the weather. Boots and pants become crucial in that weather. I trust Upper Midwesterners know their snow pants and boots.

Alpine weather is coming. Enjoy the vibrant blues, whites and yellows (with the sun). Wisconsin has epic alpine days, when it is clear and crisp. with only occasional gusts of cold wind. Great winter outside weather is on its way. Great hang outside weather. The wind may be a little strong for an all-day outside adventure tomorrow, but make sure embrace the lulls in the wind. The wind creates beautiful sculptures. Perfect for photography. And then welcome in two great weather days for the new year. Lucky.

Spring is coming.

On January 25th, when the Lunar New Year arrives, it will be the Year of the Rat. On the sexagenary cycle where the twelve Chinese zodiac signs are paired with one of the five Elements, it will be the Year of the Metal Rat. I was born during the last Year of the Metal Rat, so I suppose you could say that I will be in my element.

Incorrect. It's Buckeye Battle Cry and Across the Field. Le Regiment is played when the band performs Script Ohio

You can here the former two before the latter above.
