Bay Area Guy म्हणाले...: I think one of the main political disconnects of the Left and the #NeverTrumpers is that they focus on Trump's tone/mannerisms/speeches, but not on his Article 2 exercise of Constitutional authority.

If one focuses on the latter -- his appointment of federal judges, his efforts to curtail illegal immigration, his tax cuts, his de-regulation, even his efforts to combat China's predatory trade policy and practices of the past few decades, it's hard not to be impressed with his record. And, if you simply look at economic picture -- the high stock market, the low unemployment rate, the high growth rate -- well, the picture becomes really good. And, if you add the fact, that he has not sent US troops off to another Middle East war, well, that's great too.

The media goofballs (like the WaPo) have too much emotion invested in their anti-Trump agenda just to fairly and properly call the "balls and strikes" of the political scene. Sad!

So, the bogus impeachment is going nowhere, the Dems are headed to a brokered, fragmented convention in July 2020, and at that time, Trump will have $800 MIllion to hammer whoever the hapless Dem nominee will be.

Right. I'd follow Trump for what he does but I get to laugh along the way. Latest joke to me is listening to most of media saying "How could we have known the Russia collusion story was fake?" When half the country knew, when at rallies all over the country Trump had only to mention "fake news" and the whole crowd booed the media. Why? The crowd knew the dossier was fake. But the media - "How could we have known? How?" How did Clarice Feldman, Kimberley Strassel, Sundance know? They were investigative reporters whose conclusions were passed around among citizens without media help; and the media were and are talking bobble-heads, good for nothing but supplying Trump with an endless series of jokes.
