Watching PBS NOVA show about quantum entanglement. Mind boggling.

rhhardin म्हणाले...

Things that certainly never happened - Trump storms out of a meeting with Schumer and Pelosi. Fake news.

rhhardin म्हणाले...

I think quantum entanglement is an artifact of solving individual Schrodinger equations for separate particles instead of putting everything in one huge Schrodinger equation.

YoungHegelian म्हणाले...

“And not only that but the women and children on the border seeking refuge and opportunity in the U.S. with nothing but the shirt on their backs are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be.”

Rep Ocasio-Cortez, (NY) today on MSNBC to Rachel Maddow.

This is sort of stuff that should be investigated by the FEC as a possible in-kind contribution to the Make America Even Greater Campaign to Re-Elect Trump in 2020.

Trump the big fat stinking liar

Don Surber, CBS caught Trump in a lie. Hilarity ensues.

Trump said one in three women have been sexually assaulted traveling to the border.

Fact check: Between 60% and 80% of female migrants traveling through Mexico are raped along the way, Amnesty International estimates.

Via Insty about pot use:

Paranoia and psychosis make people dangerous, so rising use of a drug that causes both would be expected to increase violent crime, rather than reduce it as pot advocates claim. Berenson looked at data for the four states that legalized weed in 2014 and 2015—Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Colorado—and calculated a combined 35 percent increase in murders in those states from 2013 to 2017, compared with a 20-percent rise nationally. This “isn’t a statistical anomaly,” Berenson writes. “It’s real.”

The role of weed in rising violent crime rates in legalization states is a hotly contested question, especially in Colorado, where murders in Denver are at a 10-year high. Berenson admits he can’t say for sure whether those upswings are due to legal weed, but the raw data, he says, definitely contradicts advocates’ claims: “What I want people to stop saying is that legalization reduces violent crime. It doesn’t.”

$20 TRILLION in debt.

Can our health care afford the psychoses we r being asked to pay for?

Plus how much is this fluid biology costing?

Hahahaha!

Lawrence O'Donnell is doing a masterful job tonight, working through THIS STORY by Gabriel Sherman in Vanity Fair.

"Total fucking chaos."

A "horrific" report now expected from Mueller, per none other than Rudolph Giuliani.

The "wall" as Donald Trump's personal "Alamo."

"You're already hearing people speculate that Trump could do a deal and resign."

walter म्हणाले...

Hahahaha!
Chuck said..."I am afraid you are mistaking me for someone who has an interest in fair treatment of Donald Trump. I'm not your guy. I am interested in smearing him, hurting him and prejudicing people against him."

And that isn't from anonymous sources.
Straight from the horse's ass.

narciso म्हणाले...

Scary Larry, who seems to have gotten crazier after his accident.

Chuck म्हणाले...

Why is that such a hard quote for you boyz to digest? I am not a judge overseeing a case where Trump is a litigant. I am not a journalist working a White House or Washington beat. I'm not a sworn federal officer, and certainly not an active duty military officer.

I owe no legal duty to Trump, whatsoever. I have no duty of "fair treatment" for him. I think he's done a few good things (Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, etc.) and has otherwise done real damage to the country and the Republican Party.

If I were Rush Limbaugh and I said, I am afraid you are mistaking me for someone who has an interest in fair treatment of Barack Obama. I'm not your guy. I am interested in smearing him, hurting him and prejudicing people against him, nobody would bat an eye. It would be the most unremarkable, dog-bites-man story of the week.

Indeed, if we substituted the name of Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for Trump/Obama in my quote, that too would be so unremarkable as to go unnoticed if it came from Rush Limbaugh. Speaking of "lifelong Republicans." With friends like Rush, Republicans don't need enemies.

narciso म्हणाले...

It's a theory, but how do you prove quantum entanglement?

LLR Chuck: "It's a free country. Believe what you want"

It is a wise policy to never believe self-described smear merchants.

Chuck म्हणाले...

Hahaha! I'm still watching MSNBC. Brian Williams running video from one year ago today, and in it Trump is meeting with Congressional leaders and doing that thing where Trump was agreeing with Dianne Feinstein on his accepting a vote on a clean DACA bill... and Kevin McCarthy jumping in to rein in the President who clearly had no idea what he was doing and no idea of the import of what he was saying. I had forgotten just how stupid and how totally unprepared the President was in that meeting.

It was bad enough at the time; and it is a reminder of how little has been done on any immigration or border security issues in all of that time since. But moreover, it is more poignant with the current shutdown battle.

It has all along scared me, that "the Wall" is such a vanity project for Trump, that he will cave on DACA or some other Democrat initiative, just to get his Wall.

Drago म्हणाले...

LLR Chuck: "I owe no legal duty to Trump, whatsoever. I have no duty of "fair treatment" for him."

LOL

Self-described smear merchant forgets that he claims he wants to destroy Trump with facts, them proceeds with his far left smears, then attempts to re-establish his fact-based LLR pose, before he once again veers off track with far left smears...and on and on and on!

What's the excuse tonight Chuck? Bourbon?

Too funny.

Hackiest of the lefty hacks Lawrence O'Donnell of the farthest left MSNBC is now "masterful" in Chuck's mind!

It just keeps getting better and better!

iowan2 म्हणाले...

Unlike you, I don't 'believe' things. I take in the information as given, use the context, of the information, evaluate the quality of the information, consider the motivation of the source, and the past history of the source(s). Then I make an informed decision.

You believe shit.

I evaluate information.

I have never worked with an attorney that 'believed' stuff. On second thought, I have never met a lawyer that believed stuff. They reach informed conclusions.

George Will is on MSNBC.

I watch it sometimes; often not. I never watch MSNBC for more that a few minutes without seeing something wrong and/or hysterical. But they are doing cogent reporting on Trump and the Mueller investigation. Which is now the only game in town.

What is Sean Hannity talking about these days? The Deep State? Hillary's emails?

Milo Minderbinder म्हणाले...

Drago म्हणाले...

LLR Chuck: "George Will is on MSNBC."

LOLOLOLOL

That would be the George Will who endorsed all democrats over republicans and called for all voters to give control of both the House and Senate to the democrats!

Just like LLR Chuck!

ALL "True Conservative" LLR's want the dems to win, everywhere, all the time.

You see, the only way to "save" the republican party and conservatism is for the dens and the left to control all the levers of power.

LOL

I dont think Chuck is really even trying anymore....to, you know,...keep up the act...

Drago म्हणाले...

This is what happens when Chuck suddenly remembers he is supposed to be playing LLR Chuck: "I never watch MSNBC for more that a few minutes without seeing something wrong and/or hysterical."

There's some old production of Shakespeare's Anthony & Cleopatra on Amazon Prime. It has some idiosyncratic casting choices. Lynn Redgrave plays Cleopatra. Of all the Redgraves and Richardsons to choose to play Cleopatra, she woulld be about my last choice. She has none of the fire and air of Cleopatra, nor even any of her base elements. R degrade was appropriately regal at times, but Cleopatra should be a lot sexier than Lynn Redgrave.......Timothy Dalton played Marc Anthony. He was okay. Dalton was one of the lesser James Bonds, and, when you stop to think about it, so was Marc Anthony in the pantheon of Roman generals.......Lt. Uhuru of Star Trek played one of Cleopatra's attendants. Star Trek actors really take you out of Shakespeare's world. That actor who played Chekhov on Star Trek was also in this production.......I can't recommend this production. It took my five tries to get through it. Still, it's a better choice than MSNBC.
