"... the lawmakers concluded in a 250-page report released on Friday that assails President Trump’s political rivals and criticizes the F.B.I. and the intelligence community for their responses to Moscow’s interference," the NYT reports. "In their own dissenting views, Democrats on the committee accused the Republicans of prematurely closing the investigation out of a desire to protect Mr. Trump and asserted that eagerness by Trump campaign associates to accept offers of Russian assistance suggest 'a consciousness of wrongfulness, if not illegality.' The strikingly divergent conclusions...."
Whoa! That's not "strikingly divergent"! That's strikingly on the same page: No evidence of collusion. Yes, there is a difference of attitude, but it's so predictable, and so solidly based on our deeply rooted 2-party system that it sings a song of eternal American harmony.

Scary stuff.
a consciousness of wrongfulness
That's pretty funny.
So, hypothetically, if some person or group with vague connections to a foreign government (like say... Russia) had approached someone in the DNC during a contentious presidential campaign, and claimed to have some kind of devastating information on the rival candidate... it seems like the Dems would have you believe that they wouldn't be interested in checking that out? 'Cuz that would be wrongful.
That's pretty rich.
"a consciousness of wrongfulness"
A concept only totalitarians on the left and their enablers on the LLR side could embrace.
I always knew the lefties would "get there" explicitly, but I really believed it would take another generation. Trump's election clearly accelerated the exposure of the far left and the inevitable alignment of the left with the LLR's which we now see daily and in a most transparent way.
Congressional Democrats are the enemy of the people.
...and so solidly based on our deeply rooted 2-party system that it sings a song of eternal American harmony.
Whoa! PUH-REECH IT, Sistah Ann! PUH-REECH!
Trump should steal the Obama meme going around that insists there were zero scandals during his administration.
That would be an epic troll.
I'm so old, I remember when any committee report was reported by the Times as a committee report, even if the members of the minority party offered dissenting views. Of course, that was when Democrats were in the majority. I'm sure that's only a coincidence.
a consciousness of wrongfulness
What? So what Hillary did was illegal by statute, but Comey let her go because lack of intent, err lack of consciousness of wrongfulness?
Nobody says Trump committed a stated crime.
I guess Trump's error was intently being mean, err consciousness of wrongfulness, when asking Russia to leak whatever emails Hillary leaked to Russia via her private and illegal email server, so that everyone can see the damage Hillary's crime did to the country.
"a consciousness of wrongfulness"
These are the same people who when confronted with Hillary's server having 110 pieces of classified intelligence on them came to the conclusion she lacked the "intent" to be charged with the 110 felonies she committed.
Republicans: "We finished up the investigation, and found nothing..."
Democrats: "You found nothing, because you shut down the investigation before we did anything with this long list of documents that were not obtained and this long list of witnesses who were not interviewed under oath through the Committee's subpoena power..."
That is whatcha call, "divergent."
Only in Trump's "NO COLLUSION!" Twitter-world are the majority and minority reports equivalent.
Leland: "Nobody says Trump committed a stated crime."
Actually, the media and their lefty/LLR enablers explicitly say this every single day and have since Oct of 2016.
And there is LLR Chuck, right on time.
Unexpectedly.
Leland, take note.
House Minority Views on Majority Report
Mueller has also found nothing in his yearlong investigation.
That also won't be enough for Chuck and Inga.
Any investigation which is shut down before Trump leaves office will be "premature" and "incomplete".
So given that there is never going to be a collective definition of "thoroughly investigated" and "found nothing", we might as well call off the charade that it has become.
If democrats want the big Hillary-Lost because Russia colluded with Trump to be real, it's real.
It is like “Minority Report” and the dems are precogs and know before a crime is committed.
And the FBI itself was totally in collusion with the Clinton-Obama-Soros Machine. And everybody knows it.
The false charges planted by the FBI and CIA traitors were a Coup D'etat necessary to save themselves. But an waiting 24,000+ sealed Federal Indictments are the Counter-Coup coming soon.
The evidence has been collected and shared with other country's governments. It is too late to pretend anymore.
..asserted that eagerness by Trump campaign associates to accept offers of Russian assistance...
My recollection is that the only sort of "Russian assistance" that was offered was dirt on Hillary from various Russian sources, including the somehow pilfered emails from Podesta & the DNC, but NOT anything from her private server. At least in the sources we have, no other services were offered to the Trump campaign.
But, yet, we know that the HRC campaign, through various cut-out entities, paid for a report from an ex-British intelligence guy, Christopher Steele, who got his second-hand information from, you guessed it, all kinds of sources within Russia. Those sources, knowing the nature of Russian society, had to include sources within the Russian government.
So, we know for a fact that the HRC campaign paid for help from Russian sources on the Trump campaign. We know for a fact that the Steele dossier was used improperly as justification by at least the FBI to spy on the Trump campaign & transition team.
In spite of the fact that both the HRC campaign & the FBI took pains to launder their sources, who exactly here is guilty of "accepting offers of Russian assistance"?
Adam Shifty-D insists there's a lot of smoke. and you know - where there is smoke there is fire.
I would like to see the majority views on the minority views on the majority views of the minority views about the majority views. Until then, we haven't gotten to the end of the extent of the views about all the views!
“Mueller has also found nothing in his yearlong investigation.”
And how do you know that?
Democrats have views, and wish facts, and lies.
If there were "collusion," Carter Page would be in jail right now. He visited Moscow!
Of course, Page is a bit quirky and a bit odd. But he has not been indicted or convicted.
The whole investigation was a pretext. The whole Steele dossier is bullshit 3rd party hearsay rumor and lies.
At some point you need evidence of a crime to keep calling in witnesses and demanding documents.
This usually happens at the beginning, but not in this case. There was no evidence of any collusion and there has never been evidence of a collusion.
There was also no Twombly / Iqbal, no opportunity for the defense to have the case thrown out for lack of supporting evidence. What we got was a DOJ who tried to mollify the delusions of the defeated party in an attempt to have them accept the results of yet another loss by Hillary Clinton.
It is now clear that will never happen.
Given that we're looking for evidence that doesn't exist to appease people who are beyond conciliation, it's time to stop an effort that can do no further good.
That's what Inga's Minority Report says.
"...suggest 'a consciousness of wrongfulness, if not illegality'..."
I read a lot of 4chan, so I think I'm pretty able to recognize 'a consciousness of wrongfulness', because that is pretty much what 4chan is, really. But I don't much like the idea of that being tossed around as a reason to jump someone's shit, because the people who think they recognize wrongfulness in other people are usually, like, assholes.
And these people are assholes in, like, a pretty fucking unAmerican way. Because being an asshole is pretty American when it's done right. Like, nuking Hiroshima was kind of an asshole thing to do, but it was asshole in a good way, because it got the shit done that needed to get done.
But the kind of asshole who goes around being a Thought Police bitch, like, sucks ass. Because maybe I'm being wrong sometimes, but I think there's something in the Bible about a mote in one dude's eye and, like, a telephone pole or shit in another dude's eye, and I think that kinda applies here. Like, shut up about my mote, motherfucker, okay?
Because it really seems to be that we're becoming a nation of bitches. So when the assholes who talk that bitch shit go and jump the shit of the assholes who get things done, I pretty much like the assholes who get things done better than the bitches. As long as what they are getting done doesn't jump my shit.
I post my shit here.
This whole investigation was just what Trump said it was:
"A Witchhunt".
Shut down Mueller and fire Rosenstein. Pardon Flynn and Cohen.
And how do you know that?
1. His investigation leaked from the start, and incriminating evidence isn't making its way to the media.
2. He stated recently Trump was not a subject of the investigation.
3. The indictments have stopped.
There are three facts that say he has nothing.
What facts do you have to support he's found collusion between Trump and the Russians?
This crap has been going since November 2016. Mueller has been going for almost a year.
Time.To.Shut.It.Down.
With apologies to Lewis Carroll:
`There's more evidence to come yet, this paper has just been picked up.'
`What's in it?' said Maxine Waters.
`I haven't opened it yet,but it seems to be a letter, written by Trump to--to somebody.'
`It must have been that, unless it was written to nobody, which isn't usual, you know.'
`Who is it directed to?' said one of the Congressman.
`It isn't directed at all, in fact, there's nothing written on the outside.' He unfolded the paper as he spoke, and added `It isn't even a letter, after all.'
`Are they in Trump's handwriting?' asked another Congressman.
`No, they're not, and that's the queerest thing about it.'
`He must have imitated somebody else's hand,' said Mueller.
`Please,' said Trump, `I didn't write it, and they can't prove I did: there's no name signed at the end.'
`If you didn't sign it,' said Mueller, `that only makes the matter worse. You must have meant some mischief, or else you'd have signed your name like an honest man.'
There was a general clapping of hands at this: it was the first really clever thing Mueller had said that day.
`That proves his guilt,' said Maxine.
`It proves nothing of the sort!' said the Republicans.
`Let the jury consider their verdict,' Mueller said.
`No, no!' said Maxine. `Sentence first--verdict afterwards. `Off with his head!' she shouted at the top of her voice. Nobody moved.'
Perhaps Inga could cut and paste something from the minority's screed that, you know, asserts something other than, "we hate Trump and anyone even remotely associated with him."
We learned two things in the last 1.5 years. Anything harmful to Trump gets leaked within minutes. Anything that helps Trump - is kept secret until the last possible moment.
Remember who the Senate Intel committee would leak like a sieve? Not when they were told Trump wasn't a target. That time, they kept their mouths shut until Comey testified - 2 MONTHS LATER!
So, chances Mueller has anything on Trump = 0
Excellent Jeff Roth.
Strozk. That sounds like a Russian name.
What the democrats need is an insurance policy.
Breaking News: Trump has been caught using an agent named, code name MikeP, colluding with Russian Ally Kim Jong Un for the last 3 months. Experts now predict that America's top combat units at the Korean demilitarized Zone are going to re-deploy and establish a new Mexican Demilitarized Zone. And while they are there, they will practice by building a Combat Wall.
The left are going Full Comey.
"It's POSSIBLE!"
was the moon landing faked?
it's possible.
tax payers have a right to know what it costs us to pay for Mueller and his crack team of democrat operatives.

You fucking asshole. If you are going to attack me, you should start by accurately paraphrasing me.
I have said many times before, that I have seen no evidence of "collusion" which isn't even a distinct federal crime. I have said that I frankly don't expect there to be much evidence of that. And that all that I proposed to do, is to wait quietly for the Mueller investigation to proceed to a conclusion. All I know is what I read in the papers. What does anybody expect me to think?
I have confessed honestly, that I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime. But that I don't expect it, and I truly do not expect Trump's term as president to end prematurely.
If Trump does get indicted/reported for a federal crime, and if perchance he did get impeached, I'd want the evidence to be so solid -- I have said this before -- that even Sean Hannity could not doubt it. Because I don't ever want Trump to go down in history as some sort of martyr.
Chuck at 10:59 AM
"You found nothing, because you shut down the investigation before we did anything with this long list of documents that were not obtained and this long list of witnesses who were not interviewed under oath through the Committee's subpoena power..."
At some point, a report on the investigation must be issued.
The Committee decided that enough information is available for a report.
If significant information is obtained later, then another report can be issued later.

Tell it to Scaramucci, Omarosa, Pruitt and David Shulkin. Who knows; maybe Dr. Ronny Jackson too. This White House leaks like a sieve.
Tell it to "John Miller" and "John Baron."
Kevin said...”Given that we're looking for evidence that doesn't exist to appease people who are beyond conciliation, it's time to stop an effort that can do no further good.”
Sums it up pretty well.
Bipartisan response, or you are just pissing into the wind.
If Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller has information proving collusion, then he eventually will issue a report that will prove that the House Committee is wrong.
However, the House Committee apparently is not worried about that possibility.
The House Committee is extremely well informed about this controversy and about the evidence that is now available now or might become available later.
-----
Keep in mind that this accusation of collusion is based essentially on Christopher Steele's claim that he was told about the collusion by some identified insiders of the Russian Intelligence Service.
Why should we believe Christopher Steele?
Why should this poisoning of our politics continue forever because of this claim made by Christopher Steele?
What more documents or witnesses might confirm this claim made by Christopher Steele?
Christopher Steele made a lot of money for writing this dossier, which told Trump-haters just what they wanted to think.
The Trump-haters at the top of the Intelligence Community felt certain that Donald Trump was begin blackmailed, because Trump was a sleazy businessman who did business in Russia and with Russians.
Christopher Steele received a lot of money for writing his dossier, which confirmed the suspicions of those Trump-haters who headed the Intelligence Community.
Steele wrote a dossier that said that Russian Intelligence insiders told him that Russian Intelligence was blackmailing Trump. As compensation for writing that dossier, which made those Trump-haters happy, Steele received a lot of money.
Maybe we should keep studying more documents and questioning more witnesses -- and then Steele's claim will be proved to be true.
Or maybe we should just dismiss Steele as a probable fabricator.
Let's stop poisoning our country's politics forever. Trump won the 2016 election.
If Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller has information proving collusion, then he eventually will issue a report that will prove that the House Committee is wrong.
Lefties with any remaining tether to sanity have already given up on the collusion narrative. Now it's all about praying Mueller can find some crime, any crime, to justify the biggest partisan circle jerk in American history.
When one side accuses the other of treason, as one gathers from these statements, it is not normal politics.
The implication is inescapable - the message really is "they must die".
This is simply another escalation in the US internal conflict.
And there has been nothing like this since before 1861.
BAG: "Of course, Page is a bit quirky and a bit odd. But he has not been indicted or convicted."
Inga has already flatly stated that Carter Page and Michael Flynn are traitors.
She requires no evidence, no probable cause, no indictment and certainly no conviction.
Simultaneously, Inga demands you present your evidence for why you think Mueller has no evidence...
LOL
Inga and Chuck.
What a wonderful and delightful pair.
Once you get past the adjectives and adverbs, the response of the Democrats on the committee is . . . nothing new. They present no evidence of collusion. Schiff has been famous for going on television and saying that had seen evidence of collusion, but couldn't talk about it, yet.
No sign of that evidence in the Democrat response.
LLR Chuck: "...'d want the evidence to be so solid .."
LOL
Wink wink
Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller has all the time in the world. He can subpoena documents and question witnesses for many more years.
And then he can issue a report -- ten years from now -- proving that there was collusion and proving that this House Committee report was wrong.
Right now, however, the House Committee itself is very well informed and has decided that the available evidence enables the issuance of this report -- a report that will stand the test of time.
The House Committee has zero worry that Mueller will prove the report wrong -- even if Mueller subpoenas all the documents that exist and questions all the witnesses who exist until the end of Mueller's disgraceful life.
Lewis: "Schiff has been famous for going on television and saying that had seen evidence of collusion, but couldn't talk about it, yet."
Uh oh.
Casting aspersions on a democrat.
If you think LLR Chuck is going to let that stand you have another thing coming....
"A consciousness of wrongfulness, if not illegality."
-- So, fake but accurate?
so solidly based on our deeply rooted 2-party system that it sings a song of eternal American harmony
A suitable religious/moral philosophy to keep honest people honest. And competing interests to mitigate others from running amuck.
“There’s no evidence of a crime.”
Witch hunter: “That just means we haven’t looked hard enough.”
Correcting my own comment at 11:44 AM
Keep in mind that this accusation of collusion is based essentially on Christopher Steele's claim that he was told about the collusion by some UNidentified insiders of the Russian Intelligence Service.
=======
We all are supposed to believe that some insiders of the Russian Intelligence Service told Christopher Steele top-secret information about how the Russian Intelligence Service affects US Presidential elections.
These insiders are UNidentified.
However, maybe Steele's dossier -- which he earned a lot of money for writing -- will be confirmed if more documents are subpoenaed and more witnesses are questioned.
because Trump was a sleazy businessman who did business in Russia and with Russians
At least following the Western-backed coup in Kiev, anyway. Otherwise, we had a rough, but shared interest in security, economy, and play.
The Democrat response must have been written by Schiff. It has the same template as his speeches to anti-Trump journalists. You begin by making accusations that describe illegal actions, but they are so general they can't be disproven, then you make specific accusations that can be proven or disproven, but aren't really about the illegal actions that were described in general terms at the beginning, then you conclude as though your specific accusations supported the dire generalities that you spoke about at the beginning.
Like this:
"Trump and Putin conspired to illegally alter the results of the 2016 election."
"Carter Page met with a Russian oligarch."
"Therefore Trump must be impeached."
The Democrats made up the Russia narrative, so it must be true.
Lifelong Incel Chuck siding with the lefty retards once again, will the shocks never cease?
I mean nobody saw that coming. Nobody.
Maybe this is one of the things the Republican House Intelligence committee didn’t want to discover.
“Natalya Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with top Trump campaign officials at Trump Tower in 2016, admitted to being an informant for a top Kremlin official, reports the New York Times.
Why it matters: Veselnitskaya previously denied having ties to Russia’s government and insisted she was a private attorney. The revelation now raises questions about who she was working for when she met with Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner in 2016. The meeting is a focus of Special Counsel Bob Mueller's investigation.
What she said: “I am a lawyer, and I am an informant … Since 2013, I have been actively communicating with the office of the Russian prosecutor general.””
https://www.axios.com/russian-lawyer-natalya-veselnitskaya-trump-tower-russia-informant-a49a4eb4-6116-4978-8268-b064e6fbfd6c.html
I seem to recall that far more Democrats had business with Russia that lasted a lot longer then Trump's Miss Universe dealings. The Podestas, for example. Half the Democrats in Congress were looking for handouts from Russian oligarchs. The buzz was that the least you would get would be a Rolex watch that could pay half your mortgage.
Veselnitskaya was insurance, ordered by Obama and given a special visa. Maybe someone should look into how Obama could order up Kremlin stooges on command.
Inga, Inga, Inga.
Veselnitskaya was lying before, but she is telling the truth now?
I know how can get to the bottom of this! We'll have Mueller raid the office of the Russian prosecutor general!
How did Veselnitskaya get into the US, anyhow?
"Inga said...
“Mueller has also found nothing in his yearlong investigation.”
And how do you know that?"
You keep insisting that he has found something, how do you know #IngaKnew?
What a fucking dullard.
How much money did the Clinton Global Initiative receive from shady Russian banks vs. Trump?
Maybe the committee could look into that.
”The revelation now raises questions about who she was working for when she met with Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner in 2016.”
We already know she was working for Fusion GPS.
Inga: "maybe this is one of the things the Republican House Intelligence committee didn’t want to discover."
LOL
Muellers team of crackerjack dem partisan hack "investigators" have thus far refused to interview her.
Veselnitskaya has had a long relationship with Glen Simpson of Fusion GPS, the hoax dossier generators along with Steele.
Hmmmmm.
Veselnitskaya met with Glen Simpson immediately before AND immediately after the Trump Jr meeting.
Hmmmmm.
Veselnitskaya was given a special Visa by the obama admin to enter the US...
Hmmmmmm.....
Lewis: "How did Veselnitskaya get into the US, anyhow?"
Obamas admin made special arrangements to bring Veselnitskaya, one of Glen Simpsons "special" friends, into the country.
Supposedly for the specific purpose of meeting with Trump Jr.
Hmmmmmmm.
If you are a player with claims to influence it means you need to claim to know or have channels to everyone.
Its as if these people (in the media) have never dealt with lobbyists before.
Well, of course they have, its all spin.
Inga at 12:19 PM
I am a lawyer, and I am an informant … Since 2013, I have been actively communicating with the office of the Russian prosecutor general.
About what?
Maybe Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller someday might subpoena Veselnitskaya and ask her for details.
And then maybe Mueller will use that information to publish a report that will prove the House Committee's report to be wrong.
Maybe the KEY to resolving the controversy will turn out to be related to the fact that Veselnitskaya was actively communicating with the office of the Russian prosecutor general.
Then Mueller will be able write all the Veselnitskaya details and publish his report, which will prove the House Committee's report to be wrong.
In the meantime, the House Committee can move on to investigating other matters -- for example, why did Russians pay Bill Clinton $500,000 to give one speech?
And, of course, meant to drive "Korea" out of the news.
The GOP members of the House Intelligence Committee are going to look awful stupid and partisan if Mueller finds solid evidence of Trump colluding with the Russians.
I assume the GOP members of the committee know this.
So Mueller's final report (if there ever is one) will probably look a lot like today's Democrat response to the majority report. Lots of insinuation, but Mueller will say that his investigation was crippled because he couldn't subpoena Putin or Russian intelligence agents.
Plead guilty, or I will inform on you again.
Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller still has not questioned Veselnitskaya.
Why not?
Probably because questioning Veselnitskaya might open up a big can of worms that Mueller does not want to learn about.
Every manipulation of the press management is transparent.
If you know their purpose and have experience of their methods.
I think its rather obvious why Mr "straight arrow" Mueller hasnt interviewed Veselnitskaya.....
He would have to ask who Veselnitskaya was working for.....LOL.
Now that would be an inconvenient fact.
So inconvenient it might drive LLR and Big Fan Of Venezuelan Executive Tactics Chuck back into therapy!
Lewis Wetzel at 12:32 PM
Mueller will say that his investigation was crippled because he couldn't subpoena Putin or Russian intelligence agents.
It will be interesting to read Mueller's report -- probably at least ten years from now -- and to then find out whether Mueller ever even asked Christopher Steele to identify the Russian Intelligence insiders who told Steele the top-secret information about how Russian Intelligence affects US Presidential elections.
It will be interesting to find out also whether Mueller ever questions Veselnitstkaya between now (when he still has not questioned her) and the far future, when he has finished subpoenaing thousands more documents and questioning hundreds more witnesses.
In case anyone was wondering
Page 82
I'm guessing that no one is interviewing Veselnitskaya because she's utterly trivial.

Sadly our resident dullard's copy and paste source didn't have this information and never will, as they cater to those that lack original thought.
"asserted that eagerness by [X] campaign associates to accept offers of Russian assistance suggest 'a consciousness of wrongfulness, if not illegality.'"
So the House Democrats think that the Clinton campaign collusion with Steele and his Russian sources was criminal. Good to know
I'm guessing that no one is interviewing Veselnitskaya because she's utterly trivial.
She was supposed to by the key to send Don Jr. to jail for meeting with a Krelin "official." At least.
Maybe the KEY to resolving the controversy will turn out to be related to the fact that Veselnitskaya was actively communicating with the office of the Russian prosecutor general.
Given that communicating with Yuri Chaika was congruent to her lobbying efforts, I don't think anyone will be surprised.
Mike Sylwester said... Then Mueller will be able write all the Veselnitskaya details and publish his report, which will prove the House Committee's report to be wrong.
Mueller is the witchfinder general tasked to find a specific witch (Trump), not to dig around in areas which may potentially make the FBI or any other organization in the US intelligence apparatus look ill informed or politicized. It's sad and pathetic, but I don't expect Mueller to do anything actually honorable and good for the American people.
"Whoa! That's not "strikingly divergent"! That's strikingly on the same page: No evidence of collusion."
Yep. More honest Dems: "We haven't found anything, we don't expect to find anything, but we desperately need to play pretend to keep our idiot base fired up"
Stephen Foster Statue
When the kids were little, on a long drive their favorite tapes were one of American folksongs ("Buffalo Gals", "Way down yonder in the Paw Paw patch", etc.), and another of Stephen Foster songs. We would drive to see their North Coast relatives, among the groves of sequoia, to the sound of "Oh Susannah". They are, consequently I think, about as American as its possible to be. They may be among the last Americans, perhaps, in spite of being half-Spanish and a quarter-Mexican.
Any new generations are not - they have no legend, story, music, origin. They are cut off from their identity, a bit more every day, and will be fit for nothing but to be raging mobs, raging over nothing because they know nothing.
Here you go, sticking knives in your own hearts. Its little things like this that are more telling than the yodelling of partisans in Congress. If you are willing to exterminate your own souls, you are even more ready to condemn each other as traitors. Traitors to what? There is nothing left to be a traitor to.
Clapper totally leaked to Jake Tapper.
In one of the findings within the 253-page report, the House intelligence committee wrote that Clapper leaked details of a dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later.
Will he end up in jail for this? My guess is no.
Nonapod: "It's sad and pathetic, but I don't expect Mueller to do anything actually honorable and good for the American people."
Mueller's performance in the Boston FBI office during the Whitey Bulger fiasco was a clear indication this guy could not be trusted to do the right thing.
Sent 4 innocent guys to jail for murder, knew they were innocent, and then refused to help get them out years later when it was all exposed.
2 of those innocent guys died in prison.
Not to mention the central role Mueller played in okaying the Uranium 1 deal even though there were people guilty of bribery, fraud, etc which Mueller helped HIDE from Congressional oversight.
Sound familiar?
Of course, the only way you can get the hacks like LLR Chuck to speak out against that sort of thing is have someone leak that Mueller is really pro-Trump.
I guarantee under those circumstances the "Bat Signal" would go out from Dem/lefty/MSM HQ and LLR Chuck would jump all over it.
“Prematurely”. Trump is still breathing.
Nonapod: "Clapper totally leaked to Jake Tapper."
And lied under oath.
Admittedly.
It was all a setup to get the Hillary/DNC/LLR (we'll throw that in for McCain's willingness to jump into this farce) hoax dossier with Putin pals lies out into the media so LLR Chuck and his lefty friends could pretend it was all true so they could get their Venezuela/Stasi-like activities cranked up to overturn an election.
Chuck,
"I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime."
That's so far beyond despicable that you can't even see despicable from there.
Look, I'd like to see Hillary! charged with a crime, too, but you know what the huge gaping chasm of difference between you and me is? I know what crimes I think she's committed!
LLR Chuck: "I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime."
Remember, Chuck criticized Trump rally-goers for chanting "lock her up".
Why did he criticize them? Because they weren't democrats which is the only "Get Out of Jail Free" card in the LLR deck.
"“Natalya Veselnitskaya, the Russian lawyer who met with top Trump campaign officials at Trump Tower in 2016, admitted to being an informant for a top Kremlin official, reports the New York Times."
-- Well, that's awkward for Obama's team, who approved her entry, worked with her and used her expertise on several occasions. Not sure how that hurts Team Trump, who canceled a meeting half way through with her and never spoke to her again.
Who says Dems have no sense of humor?
Tragically, for a country in need of the truth and an election system in need of greater security, the Majority diverted the investigation in
the service of President Trump by launching parallel
probes to promote baseless allegations of wrongdoing by the Obama Administration and our law enforcement agencies.
The Majority’s efforts have cultivated doubt about what occurred during the 2016 elections; cast suspicion on the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Justice (DOJ), including the FBI’s basis for and handling of its counterintelligence investigation into links between Russia and the Trump campaign; and sought to undercut Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation, including by attempting to tarnish the
credibility of numerous current and former officials with knowledge
pertinent to the Special Counsel’s probe.
"We already know she was working for Fusion GPS."
-- So, indirectly, Hillary Clinton?
Mathew Sablan: "-- So, indirectly, Hillary Clinton?"
Hillary tried to make it "indirect" so LLR Chuck and his lefty allies could maintain their lies and fiction that Steele's work product was an intelligence product, which is precisely how LLR Chuck's heroes at CNN presented it (including former State Dept hack and flunky Jim Sciutto who was hired by CNN to advance the collusion narrative...just like Clapper).
But it was direct, and the dems and their LLR allies tried to hide it by using a couple of "cut outs".
Unfortunately for LLR Chuck and his coup-lite allies, it has been exposed.
"In one of the findings within the 253-page report, the House intelligence committee
wrote that Clapper leaked details of a dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later."
-- ... CNN bribed an intelligence agent to steal damaging political goods and give them to them?
That's... that's actually pretty close to the "treasonous" line that people keep saying.

Chuck,
"I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime."
That's so far beyond despicable that you can't even see despicable from there.
Look, I'd like to see Hillary! charged with a crime, too, but you know what the huge gaping chasm of difference between you and me is? I know what crimes I think she's committed!
Your thinking that you'd "like to see Hillary! charged with a crime" isn't a bit surprising to me. I understand that you feel that way; but in my case you just wrote that it's "beyond despicable" for me to think that of Trump. What's up with that?
Now, I am not running around at public, televised events, shouting "Lock him up!" In fact, I just got through saying that I would want any case against Trump to be airtight. So solid, that even Trump's most devoted flunkies couldn't avoid it or explain it away. I am not suggesting, "Lock him up, and ask questions later."
I'm not like you. I don't know what crimes Hillary Clinton has committed. I don't know what crimes Trump has committed. I'd be quite happy to see both of them charged, tried and convicted.
See the difference, between me and you? I get a kick out of your phrasing: "I know what crimes I think she's committed." In other words, what you "know" is what you "think," based on reading some stuff. On Atlhouse, or at Breitbart, or the Conservative Tree House, or Scott Adams' blog or got from Hannity! or whatever. That's not me. I am not making any personal judgments about Trump's guilt until -- at least -- the completion and reporting out of the ongoing investigation(s).
”Not sure how that hurts Team Trump, who canceled a meeting half way through with her and never spoke to her again.”
I’m sure Inga will be back to explain it to us.

Shorter Chuck: We need to raid the offices of every person connected to Trump and interrogate every member of the Trump campaign to make sure no crimes were committed ever by the same people that whitewashed Hillary's numerous crimes.
This is the definition of Stalinism.
These people are traitors.
Like, it is one thing for a journalist to have documents leaked to them. There are some shield laws and protection acts specifically for that.
You can even *solicit* the documents; you can't offer to buy American intelligence from an American intelligence agent. I'm pretty sure there are no journalist shield laws for that.

There is nothing "close" about that.
That is definition of.
I mean, think. If Clapper could be turned by CNN, how easily could he have been bought by other sources? Clapper *needs* to face consequences if we're ever going to have people take our security of Secret/Classified materials seriously, but he probably won't.
Alright. Serious question.
How did Clapper get a security clearance when he can be bought so cheaply?
I have a more serious question.
Do O-rings lose resiliency in freezing temperatures?
So the Democrats want to continue to look for evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian state operators.
Why?
Why not look for evidence that Trump was behind 9/11?
You gotta give blood hounds a scent to follow before you set them loose. You can't just say "Find Amelia Earhart!" and loose their leashes.
What crime is Mueller supposed to be investigating?
You fucking asshole. If you are going to attack me, you should start by accurately paraphrasing me.
OK.
I have confessed honestly, that I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime.
They've been looking for a year, there is no evidence he has committed any crime, and yet you'd love to see him get charged. So either you:
A. Believe he's guilty of something, and anything which attempts to exonerate him won't be enough to change your opinion.
B. Don't think he committed a crime but want him to be charged anyway.
I generously rejected B on your behalf, which leaves me with A.
A is what Inga believes. Therefore my original statement stands.
Bret Baier Dishes On One-On-One Interview With James Comey: ‘It Was Tense’
'.. Baier was surprised by Comey’s lack of knowledge about the Christopher Steele dossier and challenged him when he tried to claim it was funded by Republicans.
“What struck me were a couple of things,” Baier continued. “One, was that after all this time and after all the talk about the dossier, that he did not know that the Democrats, the DNC and Hillary Clinton were funding that? That was pretty shocking.”'
These quotes are fro4m the Daily Caller. Their link to Bair's comments doesn't seem to work. However, the 4+ minute clip can be found here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Atm2Pwy2cc
Bair goes on to say that it was strange that Comey [claimed] he didn't know this when he applied to the FISA court for a warrant to surveil Carter Page -- which was importantly based on the Steele Dossier. The funder of same was alluded to but not identified in the FISA application.
It seems incredible that Comey would not have been briefed about the Dossier's Fusion GPS / Clinton campaign connection.
If true, more grist for the conspiracy mill!
These people all conspired with the Clinton campaign to pay Fusion GPS, who payed Jason Steele, a FOREIGN intelligence agent, millions of dollars which he in turn used to pay other unknown FOREIGN intelligence agents for information to use in an election against a political opponent.
Obama gave a Russian Lawyer and known agent a special VISA so she could stay in the country and meet with Trump jr.
The Russian lawyer met with Fusion GPS on the same day before and after that meeting with the Trump team.
This is treason.
The definition of.
There are several top ranking government officials on record in public admitting to committing several counts counts of conspiracy, dozens of violations of the espionage act, multiple counts of perjury. Over a dozen democrats have been demoted or fired for malfeasance in the DOJ/FBI.
It is time for people to grow up and realize what they are up against.
There is no walking away from this.

And what is the operating temperature? Is it running from a cold start? How long was it sitting cold?
“One, was that after all this time and after all the talk about the dossier, that he did not know that the Democrats, the DNC and Hillary Clinton were funding that? That was pretty shocking.”'
Which means he's either a cataclysmic idiot or lying... or both. Personally I'm gonna go with both.
Look, I'd like to see Hillary! charged with a crime, too, but you know what the huge gaping chasm of difference between you and me is? I know what crimes I think she's committed!
She had 110 confidential documents on her home server, each one a felony.
The only reason she's not in jail is the DOJ declined to prosecute based on her imagined "lack of intention".
The statutes she violated and the crimes she committed are clear.
This is treason.
The definition of.
Actually, the definition of treason in the constitution is Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
This is just dirty politics, which should be exposed by the press. The punishment is public shaming of the guilty party. These would be Obama administration political operators.

What's your application?
Do O-rings lose resiliency in freezing temperatures?
They lose resiliency at low temperatures, not just freezing. Burn-through happened on previous flights, but not in the direction of the main tank. Over time, the burn-through was considered a maintenance issue and not a risk to flight, since no evidence existed that collateral damage was done (after all, all the tanks burned up in entry and wasn't recovered. Imagery, all from the ground at the time, would be bad until after 107, so no evidence there either). The deviancy was normalized until it resulted in real damage in the lose of a vehicle and 7 lives. There's a big lesson there about normalizing deviancy, yet Government didn't learn its lesson then.

Chuck would flip out if Sheryl Mills office was raided. It was totally cool to let her sit in with Hillary during Hillary's "interview" also. After all that was just a Clinton "matter."

Doesn't matter for what. Chuck just wants him investigated. Til they find a crime.
Chuck also thinks it is ok to spy on political opponents as long as a judge somewhere says it is OK. Especially a criminal like Judge Contrereas.
Democrats on the committee accused the Republicans of prematurely closing the investigation out of a desire to protect Mr. Trump
Standard tactics from the Dems playbook. Democrats wrote a memo when the 911 commission was first forming outlining their strategy. It included both:
(1) pressuring the commission conclude their political enemies were responsible, and
(2) denouncing the commission for inappropriately protecting the Bush Administration by refusing to investigate leads which might result in damaging information.
When your loyalty to party is above your loyalty to the country or fellow citizens there are no limits to your behavior.

When I say that I'd love to see Trump get charged with a crime, what I am saying is, I hope that they find some irrefutable evidence of a crime committed by Trump. Something so clear, and so damning, that Trump will need to plead guilty and his supporters will have nothing to do but cry about it.
I am not presuming that such evidence exists. I do not know, if Trump has committed any crimes. If he has not committed any crimes, he absolutely should not be charged. Did I have to say that? I am one of that select group of people who do not think that people should be "locked up" without proof of a crime beyond any reasonable doubt. I believe in innocence, until proof of guilt.
So, no -- and I already wrote this earlier -- I don't want anybody to take down Trump with phony charges, or falsified claims, or dubious allegations. It would only make Trump a martyr to Trumpism.
What I hope, is that someday, there is irrefutably clear proof of Trump crimes. It is my hope, only.
Some of Ann's readers, not as well informed as she, are confident that charges against Manafort, Flynn, Papadopoulos and that Skadden guy who's already in the clink etc will be tossed and instead the government will turn to the pursuit of convictions for Comey, McCabe, Mueller and Hillary.
Keep dreaming!
A federal judge Friday dismissed a challenge brought by Paul Manafort to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s criminal probe of Russian interference in 2016 U.S. elections, ruling that Manafort may not use a lawsuit to thwart his prosecution.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson tossed out Manafort’s attempt to bar the special counsel from bring future charges against President Trump’s former campaign chairman, citing the “sound and well-established principle” that potential defendants not “circumvent federal criminal procedure’ that already permit individuals to challenge charges within criminal proceedings.
Yes, it's going to turn out that Donald Trump will be revealed as the stooge and dupe of the Russian espionage services, that Manafort was its actual agent, that Flynn is a Russian spy, and that Trump's lawyer Cohen is a made man in the Russian mafia. What I don't get is why Ann doesn't think that is just absolutely hilarious!

James Clapper occupied the position of Director of National Intelligence when Hillary Clinton was making a big issue about Donald Trump disregarding the findings of the USA's 17 intelligence agencies.
Clapper could have clarified that issue easily for the electorate.
Because, however, Clapper did not serve our entire nation -- rather, he served only the Democratic Party -- he remained silent while Clinton benefited politically from that bogus issue.
Clapper was happy that Clinton's 17-intelligence-agencies issue was helping her to defeat Clinton, whom Clapper hated.
-----
The leaders of our Intelligence Community -- headed by DCI Clapper -- used a series of methods to prevent Trump's election and to resist his presidency:
1) Use preposterous evidence to justify wiretaps of Trump's campaign staff.
2) Leak contents from those wiretaps to Trump-hating journalists
3) Gaslight the President and the citizenry about these activities.
Clapper personally specialized in the gaslighting. He pretended not only that he himself knew nothing about these resistance activities, but he furthermore insinuated that anyone who perceived such activities was crazy.
This gaslighting has been Clapper's main contribution to the Resistance during the last couple of years. Clapper appears on TV shows where he is interviewed and where he puts on his nice-old-man act and insinuates that any suspicions about the Intelligence Community's Resistance to Trump are just plain crazy.
Of course, one other big contribution has been his frequent leaking of Trump-damaging information to various journalists -- just one of whom was Jake Tapper.
Clapper gets a huge government pension, and he also will earn a huge salary from Trump-hating CNN, the recipient of many of his leaks over his many years as an Intelligence officer.
Clapper is a dishonest, despicable person.
"That's... that's actually pretty close to the "treasonous" line that people keep saying."
So, Clapper lied - again - under oath. Repercussions? None.

Yes, this is what is so delusional. They cling to their conspiracy theories and truly have no clue that they’re doing so.
There is no reason to believe Fusion GPS on this, considering they lied during their time with Congress, lied to investigators, refused to provide requested documents and are, you know, known liars.

Not a smidgen of corruption on the part of LLR Chuck's "magnificent" obama and his administration.
Chuck said...”It seems inexplicable to me, how Cheryl Mills was treated.”
It’s helpful to compare Chuck’s gee-whiz bafflement in response to government corruption to his masturbatory rage when Trump exaggerates.
"No evidence of collusion. Yes, there is a difference of attitude."
You could put it that way. But the divergence is real, of course. One side says: no evidence of collusion, case closed. The other side says: no evidence of collusion, but "consciousness of wrongfulness" should keep the case open so we can find a crime somehow somewhere. One side respects the actual outcome of the actual election and an actual investigation. The other side does not respect the outcome of an election and hopes that something, anything, can be pinned on Trump.
The smartest thing that Trump could do would be to threaten to pardon any person indicted by Mueller's grand jury who is not facing charges of illegally working with Russian state actors to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.
If Trump actually carried out the threat, it would cripple Mueller's investigation since he couldn't threaten to jail people if they failed to cooperate or testify. Mueller would have no choice but to drop the charges.
The media would scream that the dark night of fascism had descended on the US (again!). The American people, God bless them, would collectively yawn and go on with the business of running their own lives.
I do have to give Inga credit.
As soon as her mindless "Veselnitskaya" cut and paste job went south she abandoned it pretty darn quick.

Maybe you should just keep muttering about all the coming “Democratic arrests”, like your compatriot, Achilles. You sound more like him daily.
LOL - Comey thinks cahoots is a real thing and collusion is not.
I must admit that I am disappointed that Inga will actually assert truthfulness from anyone at Fusion GPS. There are other times when she has arguments that, at least, make one do a little research to disprove her or illustrate the alternative point of view. Fusion GPS freely admits that they are the original home of tainted news yet we are supposed to believe?
When you LIE for the good of The Party - you GET to lie and get away with it.

Irony so thick you can cut it with a knife.
The entire basis of Mueller's job is a conspiracy theory. He was literary directed to find proof of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russian state actors.
"I’m not going to argue with a bunch of entrenched conspiracy theorists, why bother? "
-- What is more a conspiracy theory? That the Russian lawyer who went to speak to Trump, and had her meeting cut short, secretly was providing them with anti-Hillary Clinton information she was getting secretly from Russian sources and by getting counter intelligence from Fusion GPS...
Or that the people who were paying her and met with her before and after her meeting with Trump's team may be lying about what they paid her for?
The people who we know Clinton was paying to create a dossier of salacious stuff to hurt Trump, which we now know she intended to get to her allies in the FBI/intelligence community, who helped her then leak the information to CNN to ensure it was as damaging a reveal as possible.
See -- the one where Fusion are bad faith actors incorporates all facts we know. The one where the Russian lawyer is a secret anti-Hillary, pro-Trump spy requires us to *ignore all the other known facts*.
The conspiracy theory is the one that requires us to ignore the facts.
Why is it wrong to want to know about all the illegal big money deals between Russia and the Clinton "Foundation"?
Boom, there it is...
“The Russians stole documents.
They promised documents to Trump.
They met to discuss those documents.
The documents were delivered through WikiLeaks.
Trump operatives had advance knowledge of both contents and timing on WikiLeaks releases.
Donald Trump Jr. had communications with WikiLeaks to strategize on releases.
Donald Trump used that information in his campaign rallies.
Both Cambridge Analytica and Russian operatives used the information in stories targeted at key voter districts.
They used the Democratic voter-turnout model they had stolen to target voters for suppression.
They lied about every step.
That’s a conspiracy. And every step of that conspiracy is now public knowledge.”
Inga: "I’m not going to argue with a bunch of entrenched conspiracy theorists, why bother?"
There is nothing to argue about here.
You thought you had a clever gotcha by cutting and pasting that the Rep controlled intel committee hadnt interviewed her.
We pointed out that Muellers team of dem hacks hadnt either. Also that she is a good pal of the very guy who worked directly with Hillarys henchmen to get this hoax ball rolling.
And that obamas admin had to give her a very special visa to enter the country, AND that "gee whiz whaddya know about that!" she met with Simpson right before AND right after the Trump tower meeting.
Well, that is all very very interesting, isnt it?
Not if you are Mueller though....
@Drago, Achilles and other concerned commenters: Your constant harping on Chuck really doesn't do you or the comments section justice. Chuck has been playing a game since he first appeared here. His objective seems to be to make comments that will draw attention to him and he has certainly succeeded. He adds nothing meaningful to the conversation; like the lawyer he claims to be he will argue either side of any issue that will get a rise out of you guys. Ignore the guy.
Lol
Inga thinks if she just keeps posting her already debunked talking points she can succeed with volume.
Not to worry Inga, you had LLR Chuck at "hello".

“As soon as her mindless "Veselnitskaya" cut and paste job went south she abandoned it pretty darn quick.”
Drago, are you so delusional that you think that the Veselnitskaya story has been “abandoned” by me? I’m not going to argue with a bunch of entrenched conspiracy theorists, why bother? Maybe you should just keep muttering about all the coming “Democratic arrests”, like your compatriot, Achilles. You sound more like him daily.
After her mindless cut and paste about Veselnitskaya she mindlessly cut and pasted the Fusion GPS lawyers lie that they didn't know what was going on.
Comey just admitted committed a half dozen federal felonies on live TV.
But Inga doesn't think he should be arrested.
That says all you need to know about Inga.
Fusion GPS and Crowdstrike are CIA contractors, and are listed as so in the public portion of the CIA budget.
Everything comes back to Clapper.
“Inga thinks if she just keeps posting her already debunked talking points she can succeed with volume.”
Drago, you are by far the most prolific commenter here at Althouse.
Drago, 30 comments thus far, lol.
What is more a conspiracy theory?
As the NYT recently admitted they define "conspiracy theory" as anything the left wishes weren't true.
Correction: April 23, 2018
An earlier version of this article erroneously included a reference to Palestinian actions as an example of the sort of far-right conspiracy stories that have plagued Facebook. In fact, Palestinian officials have acknowledged providing payments to the families of Palestinians killed while carrying out attacks on Israelis or convicted of terrorist acts and imprisoned in Israel; that is not a conspiracy theory.

It’s helpful to compare Chuck’s gee-whiz bafflement in response to government corruption to his masturbatory rage when Trump exaggerates.
I don't have any "gee-whiz bafflement." I'd be very happy to see it all investigated. What is wrong with you? "Inexplicable" doesn't mean, "It is beyond my understanding." "Inexplicable" means, "I understand it, and I don't see how the principals can explain themselves."
I hope that they find some irrefutable evidence of a crime committed by Trump. Something so clear, and so damning, that Trump will need to plead guilty and his supporters will have nothing to do but cry about it.
I am not presuming that such evidence exists. I do not know, if Trump has committed any crimes. If he has not committed any crimes, he absolutely should not be charged.
I'm really trying to understand you Chuck, even as you repeatedly call me names.
Let me cut the the chase: Mueller finds nothing. Will you be defending his innocence here to the Ingas who will say it proves nothing? Will that lead you to believe Trump has lead a crime-free life?
Or are you going to stick with "we just don't know"?

I respond to Chuck not to change his mind. My goal is to highlight his and Inga's treason. They are actively defending a cabal that spied on their political opponents. They are defending a regime that is trying to overturn a lawful election by charging Trump with a crime they actively committed.
The only people who colluded with foreign agents were Obama and Hillary. They did it repeatedly and with intent to harm our country.
We cannot ignore these people. They must be defeated. If they ever get power again they will not stop. They will pick up right where Obama left off spying on political opponents and using the DOJ and FBI to destroy people's lives.
Let’s just pick one:
Inga said...”Trump operatives had advance knowledge of both contents and timing on WikiLeaks releases.”
What are you referring to?
"Trump operatives had advance knowledge of both contents and timing on WikiLeaks releases."
-- This was factually wrong when it was reported, and unless something has changed (it hasn't), remains so.
“Some of Ann's readers, not as well informed as she, are confident that charges against Manafort, Flynn, Papadopoulos and that Skadden guy who's already in the clink etc will be tossed and instead the government will turn to the pursuit of convictions for Comey, McCabe, Mueller and Hillary.
Instead? Embrace the power of "and" Inga!
And no one here really cares if Manafort, Flynn, Papadopolous and the Skadden guy go down. If they're guilty, let it be.
But none of those people are Donald J Trump.
Trump operatives had advance knowledge of both contents and timing on WikiLeaks releases.”
What's an "operative"?
Someone knew something. I suppose Julian Assange must have known, for one.
But I'm not going to simply admit that anyone who knew was an "operative" or even connected to Trump.
I mean, who even uses the term "operative" in normal conventions?

I think that I remember this. CNN reported on it in depth as breaking news, then had to issue a correction within hours because their highly placed source had lied to them about the date. The date the Trump people received the Wikileaks releases was after Wikileaks publicly released the emails.
How could Chuck have voted for Trump if he believed Trump was guilty of committing crimes sufficient to remove him from office?
Mind boggling.
“The Russians stole documents."
-- This is not proven; we know an insider took Clinton/DNC files. The Russians also may have, but since Clinton did not keep good security of her system, we don't know if Russians hit her system or not.
"They promised documents to Trump."
-- What proof exists of this?
"They met to discuss those documents."
-- They met to discuss some adoption law and that they might have things Trump wanted; there is no crime there. We know this because Clinton agents met with foreigners to buy documents.
"The documents were delivered through WikiLeaks."
-- WikiLeaks did not deliver the documents; they released them to the world. As they've done since their existence.
"Trump operatives had advance knowledge of both contents and timing on WikiLeaks releases."
-- See above. This is untrue.
"Donald Trump Jr. had communications with WikiLeaks to strategize on releases."
-- There is no proof of this.
"Donald Trump used that information in his campaign rallies."
-- He did say that Clinton's emails were damaging to her. That's not a crime.
"Both Cambridge Analytica and Russian operatives used the information in stories targeted at key voter districts."
-- Russian operatives also targeted key voter districts to hurt Trump. It isn't a crime to campaign for Trump, no matter how much Clinton wanted to jail people for making a movie she didn't like.
"They used the Democratic voter-turnout model they had stolen to target voters for suppression."
-- There is no proof of this, and there is no proof there was "Voter suppression by Russians."
"They lied about every step. That’s a conspiracy. And every step of that conspiracy is now public knowledge.”
-- None of this has been proven. This is the definition of a conspiracy theory.
”I think that I remember this. CNN reported on it in depth as breaking news, then had to issue a correction within hours because their highly placed source had lied to them about the date. The date the Trump people received the Wikileaks releases was after Wikileaks publicly released the emails.”
Yeah, this can’t be what Inga is referring to. What ARE you referring to, Inga?

Even if this is true - and I think it’s safe to assume it’s not - there’s no way to miss the fact that undeniable corruption doesn’t ignite the same passion and hatred in you that Trump’s abrasive personality does.
You’re entitled to be blinded by your jealousy, but it is pitiful.
""I’m not going to argue with a bunch of entrenched conspiracy theorists, why bother?"

Not only does this fat retarded cow think history begins anew each morning, but apparently just a few moments later in the same thread.
God I hope Mattis gives lefty traitors and Lifelong Incel Chucks the Russian mercenary treatment.

... the Russian lawyer who went to speak to Trump ... secretly was providing them with anti-Hillary Clinton information she was getting secretly from Russian sources and by getting counter-intelligence from Fusion GPS ...
The Trump-haters' suspicion about Veselnitskaya seems to be that at her meeting in Trump Tower she intended to accomplish something that might be significant to the US Presidential election.
For example, Veselnitskaya was going to facilitate the transfer of some damaging information about Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump's campaign staff from the Russian government.
OK.
That possibility has been discussed and investigated in the public sphere. That discussion and investigation has not resulted in any useful information about any effect on the US Presidential election.
The suspicion about Veselnitskaya seems to be a dead end. Many suspicions in our lives are dead ends. That happens when suspicions are mistaken.
Maybe Robert "The FBI Whitewasher" Mueller has some still secret information that Veselnitskaya is relevant to the question of whether Russia meddled in our Presidential election.
And maybe Mueller does not have any such information.
We will find out when Mueller eventually publishes his report -- maybe ten years in the future, after he has obtained 10,000 more documents and has interviewed 1,000 more witnesses.
In the meantime, our country's politics are thoroughly poisoned by supposedly secret investigations of any and every suspicion against politicians. People with police powers are using vicious, brutal methods to ruin and pressure people, many of whom are elected officials in high positions.
Lewis Wetzel: "How could Chuck have voted for Trump if he believed Trump was guilty of committing crimes sufficient to remove him from office?

Indeed.
You should feel free to draw obvious and inescapable conclusions.
Absolutely no self-awareness.
Zero.
None.
No shit.

CNN forced to climb down from claim Wikileaks gave Trump access to leaks
CNN posted a lie. Whether they knew it was a lie at the time is up for debate. They posted an email was posted on September 4th, but it was really sent on September 14th.
"The retraction was issued following conflicting reports from other news outlets establishing that the email in question was sent on 14 September 2016, and not 4 September as CNN originally reported."
It is an obvious lie.
But Inga is defending a Stalinist investigation. Traitors are all about using lies to get power over others.
The lie CNN posted was an obvious attempt to keep tools like Inga motivated and in the fold.
And it worked. Inga is still using that lie months later.
What I don’t get is why she does this. Inga’s obsessed with the Trump collusion narrative. Surely she most know the most basic facts.
I think that I remember this. CNN reported on it in depth as breaking news, then had to issue a correction within hours because their highly placed source had lied to them about the date. The date the Trump people received the Wikileaks releases was after Wikileaks publicly released the emails.
Yes. It was the stupid Encryption Key!!! she was screaming about. And then precisely shut up, moved to another thread and never to be mentioned again when it was proven just how wrong she was.
It's mind-boggling how a person can be reasonably intelligent on some subjects and then just the stupidest, most moronic person in the room when it comes to something else.
That's Inga.
Khesanh 0802,
The tactic of ignoring/downplaying these sorts of attacks based on falsehoods has played a large role in getting our society to where it is today.
