Who cares? The Not For Long football league is going down faster than Professional Boxing did for its brain damage to players causing alert parents to forbid their children to play.

Yeah, the NFL may be dead a decade from now. Which is a shame, because Tom Brady will just be hitting his stride at that point...

Not as good or as good a name as The Fearsome Foursome (Rosey Grier, Lamar Lundy, Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones. Their coach George Allen's daughter named her four sons after them. She also did a documentary about them for "A Football Life" which is worth watching.
Steelers had the Iron Curtain. Broncos Orange Crush.
Pretty sad when a 70 odd year old Canadian can school you in football, the American pastime. He at least tried with the fair catch symbol.
Somehow, I bet if the category had been European soccer teams, these guys would have been able to answer the questions. Or maybe "History of underwater basketweaving"
I happened upon a sports broadcast on MSNBC in the middle of the night to discover that temperatures during the Super Bowl at U S Bank Stadium would set a record for cold during the 52nd running of the championship game. Single digits with a high of 6 °F and wind chills somewhere below -10 °F. What wasn't covered was that the game will play under the translucent skies of the roofed stadium at about 70 °F with no wind.
The coldest NFL game ever played outside was at the Ice Bowl game at Lambeau Field between the Packers and Cowboys for the 35th NFL Championship on December 31, 1967 with game-time temperature was about −15 , and an average wind chill around −48 °F.
I didn't get the answers to those questions (or rather, the questions to those answers) either. I realize this is an unfair prejudice (is there any other kind?), but where I come from football is one of those things considered the province of Dumb Guys. Women who like me--including my Significant Other--tell me they like the fact that I am uninterested in team sports. But I would probably do well in "manly" Jeopardy categories such as "The Films of Charles Bronson," "The Novels of Mickey Spillane," or "Blowing Up Things Real Good."

Didn’t need a man card to get on that show.
Since "Talkin' Football" was the last category, and had not been touched before...
You could call it "known unknowns".
Rumsfeld: "We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know."
See, that's why we have all these Beta Males, pajama boys, and snowflakes. They don't appreciate the sublime essence of football.
Bought my 49er season tix in 1979.
The sublime essence of football has been squeezed out of it.
It is a different, lesser game today.

OK..the last one was a little tough depending on your age.

It's kinda refreshing to find 3 people without a clue about football.
Having watched football nearly all my life, I aced it.
Soon it will be like asking questions about how to operate a horse and buggy.
The National Felons League will have one of the lowest rated games in many years.
As the great Don Surber says what color shoe will they wear to bring the fans back?

Love it!
What's with the Landrey perfected the shotgun? Perfected? With the Cowboys?
Must be some other team... Bzzzz.
Bud, you're probably just too young to remember the Landry/Staubach era.
I could only get one, but at least I got one. (Fair catch.)
Not a single hard answer in the batch. But you've gotta admire some of the cute puns in the clues.

I'm from MN and knew the answer but I am not a Viqueens fan.
Jeopardy has degenerated into a sports and media topics quiz game? I had thought it was more academic in its topics. Sad!!
Bring back the old "College Bowl" to replace Jeopardy.
