"Mr. Trump, what's left in your life? You're 33 years old, you're worth all this money, you say you didn't say you want to be worth a billion...."
"No, I really don't. I just want to keep active and keep busy and be interested in what I do, and that's all there is to life as far as I'm concerned...."

"$650 rent for a one bedroom in NY".... those were the days.
When you watch these old interviews you see a different Donald. He's comes across as being humble, well balanced and having an excellent command of the facts. What happened?

He recently did an interview for Feherty, and he was still all that.
Welcome to the end product of Calvinist Reform Theology. It is often called out as being the Protestant Work Ethic by its enemies. But it creates the ultimate free mind. Making one's self image immune to the best of the culture's guilt and shame manipulation tricks, the man becomes free to put all his attention on being the best at his work.
It works the same for women too; such as, Betsy DeVoss.
Remind me, how did Betsy DeVoss make her money?

I think he comes across as bullshitting. He's not revealing all. He's saying what will work to get what he wants. What he wants and why he wants it and how far he will go to get it is completely opaque.
Something about that monotone and the continuous flow... He's interesting and might be useful for the good, but I would not trust that person!
Now, the guy he is now, that's something else. I agree. I'm just judging the guy in the clip based on how he is talking in the clip. There's enough of a feeling of honesty perhaps to make you want to trust him, but that's necessary to be a successful liar. Obvious liars don't get too far. Who needs to worry about them?
You know, he was handsome when he was young, but he sure looks a lot older than 33!
I think it's the clothes and hairstyle from back then that makes people look older. Even looking at pictures of my parents, they look younger in the 1990's than they did in the 80's.
Also, his "monotone" speaking back then was way before his media career and my perception is that's how all adults spoke back then. Even Brokaw is monotone. They didn't try to sound like Guy Fieri all the time.

I think people on this board have asked you that about five thousand times, how do you make your money arm? What do you do? How rich are you? Or am I getting you confused with lying PBJ who seems to think he's rich or something? Anyway tell us what you do and how much money you make, I think you opened that box.
ARM--Remind me, how did Hillary Clinton make her money?

Yes. And, evasive.
"Remind me, how did Betsy DeVoss make her money?"
Autoparts Stores
ARM is very interested in how people made their money, except Hillary of course.

Evasive. Didn't vote for Hillary, in large part because of the sleazy interconnection between money and influence peddling.
'Evasive' is evasive.
Betsy DeVoss doesn't need money. Her family has been successful and educated her well. She is generously working for educational chances for children stuck in bad government schools. And for that good she has taken more flack than all the other Nominees have put together.
That takes a positive self image and inner courage that A Reasonable Man will never percieve.
Obvious liars don't get too far.
We have different ideas about obviousness.
He's so obviously a Hitler in the making. One of the next videos that follows on YouTube, a 1987 interview on Larry King, is even more telling. Politicians with long histories of sociopathic violence, encouraging gangs of street thugs to intimidate their enemies like young man Trump has done, borrowing tactics learned from the likes Mussolini and Hitler -- such men most certainly deserve to be driven out of office by any means necessary. I salute the unfacist masked freedom fighters we saw on the streets of Berkeley last week. Like their counterparts in Munich a hundred years ago, they are the true champions of democracy and of the Democratic Party of the future. Doesn't Ann agree?

At least you seem to be a real person, even if deluded.
I'm as poor as a church mouse but, due to my profession, I got to know a number of extremely successful people. In my experience they broadly fell into three groups - they were in it for the money, they got rich by accident just doing what they enjoyed, or the money was just a way of keeping score.
I think Trump is a score keeper.
Don't lower your expectations. Don't accept yourself as you are. Always strive to be better, healthier, etc.
Huh. So orange isn't his natural hair color?

You really need to shut the fuck up, about Betsy DeVos. A day ago, you were prattling on about how she was a "gold digger." Which did nothing so much as demonstrate that you know less about the DeVos and Prince families than any ordinary newspaper reader in Grand Rapids. What the people of Grand Rapids know further, that you clearly don't, is that the DeVos, Van Andel and Prince families are clearly among the greatest philanthropists in the history of western Michigan.
Now this is the second time I have had to deliver this pantsing of you on this subject. Why don't you just stop?

Hysterical nonsense
You lost the last argument, badly, Want to go another round loser?
Betsy DeVos is a vapid tool of the religious right.
