I'm not going to argue with Tom and Lorenzo, but I've seen black patterned stockings a lot. And obviously, black tights.
It's cold in LA lately. Putting something on your legs makes sense.

Now, Jennifer Lawrence is definitely wearing sheer black without pattern. I still don't love it.
I can get more on board with sheer nudes, if only because they make more sense if you don't live in warm LA and you don't have the skin on your legs you wish you had.

If she were to eat them on-camera in proper attire, with enthusiasm, I suspect her celebrity status would be enhanced.
