With both WikiLeaks and Ecuadorean officials refusing to say much more about the incident, outsiders were left to guess at what was happening behind closed doors at the embassy suite at No. 3 Hans Crescent, a stucco-fronted building which Assange has called home for more than four years. Had Ecuadorean diplomats lost patience with their famous Australian houseguest? Had they finally bowed to pressure from Washington to muzzle the outspoken ex-hacker following one revelation too many? Had there been some other kind of confrontation?

You should be grateful to the Ecuadorans for acting to prevent you from learning even one more unsettling thing about Hillary before you vote for her.
Hmm, something bad comes out about Hillary and the critic gets silenced.
I bet that, if President, that she will be covered quite tightly.
The voters are ready to vote for an outright fascist. This country is fucked beyond all words.
Might be time for the tree of liberty to be fertilized.
It's probably nothing. No worse than Vince Foster.
In my house, it was probably because of curfew. Go outside!
A Hillary as president will never leave you be. She will be in your face 247. You will have to embrace Muslims, gay & trans rights, her ideas for drastic income re-distribution, federal interference into k-12 schools, local zoning and housing, affirmative action, gun control and increased uncontrolled immigration while she guts the military.
AND she will fudge all the economic statistics so it would appear everything is fine and dandy.
AND the media will cover for her 247.
Trump won't do any of that. He will leave us the hell alone but he will prioritize 3-4 bug things and try to fix them.
It's for the common good.
I need to bookmark all of these anti-Trump screeds because, in 2020, the press will bemoan how the GOP won't run a moderate like Trump again.
Know why journalists will never hold a parade? Because people would try to mow them down in their cars.
Disconnecting someone today from the internet is like cutting someone's tongue out. That was a big favorite among the medieval, barbaric, pagan rulers.
I'm confused. Hillary promised us over and over that she is the most transparent politician ever. What could she possibly have to fear?
Media coup d’etat.
The part of feudal landowner played by Jeff Bezos. Head of the ruling junta, Colonel Jeff Zucker. Caudillo Hillary Clinton
Assange was only a hero when Bush was in office. He was shut down when Obama got in. If Hillary is elected, he will die mysteriously.
AJ Lynch is correct but it will be worse than that. He left out foreign affairs. Iran, Russia and China run wild. ISIS continues apace.
The election is three weeks away and his Internet feed is cut. Purely a coincidence, I'm sure.
Bill musta made another phone call.

I hear Fort Marcy Park has really good public WiFi. Assange should try there.
What Damikesc said at 7:26AM. Especially the 2nd sentence!
One wonders what quid-pro-quo was offered to the Ecuadoran Embassy officials, in return for silencing Assange.
Just think, we could have articles of Impeachment being presented on January 21! And disbarred for lying under oath to Congress! Talk about following in her husband's footsteps.
Isn't it strange how our entire federal government seems to be focused on protecting Hillary? I have to admit, though, it's the first thing I've seen them do well in decades.
btw, I wonder what the taxpayer cost is to have all these different federal agencies constantly working on behalf of the DNC. Since they are all staffed by Democrats, I guess we'll never find out.
Online child abuse allegation against Assange is being investigated.
My guess: someone in the Ecuador government just got a nice contract with the Clinton Foundation.
Anyone check Chelsea's recent travel?
Her husband's?
Those are all good questions.
Questions to which we'll never know the answer.
The thing we can be certain of is that the administration which promised to set a new standard for transparency has in fact set a new standard for opacity.
I think that if you look back in history you'll find that the most successful despotic governments were the ones best able to hide their true objectives from the governed.
But in our case it's all good, because the Democratic controlled ruling class only has our best interest at heart.
My guess is the Wikileaks documents to come are so damaging to Clinton that they're risking this. If only there were good journalists who would cover this story. I mean, it won't win a Pulitzer or anything like that because, well, it's anti-Clinton, but it would very much be in the public interest.
Parking this here:
While on the phone on a different topic, HRC raised Clinton Cash convo with Jake and me. It was a difficult conversation. So folks should be ready to explain why we don't think a video makes sense.
Moreover, my impression is she wants a much stronger response. Which means engaging more on details that we have to date not found in our interest to do so.

There is no truth, nope, none at all, to the rumor of a Predator Drone circling the Presidential compound of Ecuador.
these are all good questions. and you are clearly a rapist for asking them. and a racist too.
If the leaks had been about our military or the RNC or some oil company, they would have never stopped. But they're about Hillary, and now they're stopped. Priorities.....Fortunately, many of the embarrassing revelations were also about the press so there will be no public mourning about this loss of information. Transparency. The public has a right to know about all government business except how Hillary conducts the government's business and how the press reports on Hillary's transactions.. Some things are private. Sacrosanct really.
What an amazing coincidence!
Bill Clinton must have had a discussion with the President of Equador. About they're grandkids. And thy're travels. Social stuff.
Assange needs to learn to make a booster antenna out of a Pringles can to pick up a WiFi signal in an adjacent building.
I'm sure the Ecuadorans were given an ultimatum. Deny him Internet access, or have the embassy shut down.
Obviously they chose the practical, because none of those people want to return to Ecuador and actually live in that shit-hole.
"Did you plug that leak yet, daddy?"
I thought the Vince Foster case was pretty much covered in the media and I know they held hearings and some respected lawman/jurist said there is nothing to see. But I was looking around the internet and there was this one site that had a believable list of inconsistencies and they had pictures. Like one of the couple pictures taken by the first cops at the scene (way too few for a normal investigation)--but one pic showed the gun. The picture of the gun checked into evidence is an different make and model of handgun from the gun in the original crime scene photo. If you have some free time try and search for this. There are a ton of inconsistencies and it makes for an interesting read. I think a former homicide detective from a different area is behind the site. I also know that nothing will ever come of any further investigation.
The ambassador probably needed the bandwidth to watch porn.
There's a Fox & Friends video clip
https://vid.me/olKa
claiming Assange may be arrested in a matter of hours.
If Hillary is elected, he will die mysteriously.
Of four self-inflicted gunshot wounds of the head,
Assange has an organization that can release what he has, doesn't he? If not, he is screwed.
Of four self-inflicted gunshot wounds of the head
Each of a different caliber. Comey will say there is nothing amiss.
Leaked documents that harm our national security, our military readiness, or our ability to fight terrorism? Why the Media can't wait to publish that stuff--they'll give each other awards for putting it on the front page!
Leaked documents that make a Democrat politician & the Media look bad? "Hey, this was an illegal hack, that was private correspondence, off the record, an invasion of privacy, it's taken out of context & doesn't capture the tone...and any way there's nothing out of the ordinary in there."
Disgusting.
Anyone remember when the NYTimes & WashPo crowdsourced going through Sarah Palin's 25k emails from her time as Gov. of Alaska more than 2 years after she left that office?
Weird that you don't see a similar push on the part of the Media to comb through these recent leaks for "newsworthy info," isn't it?
Good times, good times.
Ecuador cut off Assange’s internet at U.S. request, WikiLeaks says Read more here: http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/election/article108908532.html#storylink=cpy
Assange has an organization that can release what he has,
I think that may be his only chance to survive. Of course, he has to keep some back as insurance.
Somewhere, there is a thumb drive with video of Huma and Hillary or something of equal value.

A Wikileaks "insurance file" drop?
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-18/wikileaks-appears-have-just-released-its-first-insurance-file-fully-open-and-unencry
Note the dates on the directories - 1-Jan-1984
Zing.
Anyway, the stuff here, or the directory names anyway, are eclectic and many have very old dates on them, or in the names anyway.
I'm sure the Ecuadorans were given an ultimatum. Deny him Internet access, or have the embassy shut down.
They are saying we made this happen.
I've never been more proud to be an American than when we silenced a source of embarrassing information for a Presidential candidate.
How sad is it that we have to rely on fucking hackers to get us information?
How sad is it that we have to rely on fucking hackers to get us information?
How desperate would you be to close the barn door after the horse was already loose?
Forcing Ecuador to cut off Assange's internet access is a very desperate move, risking Wikileaks releasing the "insurance" so I am going to assume that worst exposé of Hillary is yet to come.
Not to mention, the most damaging information about Hillary has been coming out of the FBI.
Interesting. Looks like Steve Jobs tested positive (PCR) for HIV-1, but negative for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

Obama's birth announcement
Deborah Jeane Palfrey (DC Madam) phone records
If nothing else, this election is incredibly entertaining. I love watching Althouse avert her eyes.
Maybe Assange raped someone else.

Since IT invaded medical records, there is no such thing a privacy.
And how easy to fabricate the 'information'.
Yeah, let's attack Assange. He's the issue.
I'd say pressure from Washington, which intensified as a result of the release of emails from the DNC and Podesta. Washington simply made some threastsd it had not previously made against Ecuador.
This is the beginning of retaliatory action against Russia.
