What? I don't see anything. There's a big red and white one, right at the beginning, then a biggish white one, and the rest are all small. Nothing to write home about on any of 'em. Or, is this a Trump-related thing from today, that I missed hearing about?
Those koi lack the coloration and size that would make them worth $1 million apiece. When everything comes together and the colors shine, they can be extremely valuable fish.
I want a koi pond in my backyard. I had a pond in my backyard in England, and I won a couple of goldfish at a fair. We put them in the pond, and they they reproduced, and got pretty big...a couple were at least five pounds.
These are not particularly big for carp (I know they are Koi, but they are still carp), the average for common carp in Lake Winnebago is about 14 pounds of you are into catching them. A lot of people don't know that carp were introduced by the (now) DNR in WI as a food source and had been slowly planted by the US Fish Commission since 1876 or so in the US.
I have about 40 of those suckers in my 10 x 10 backyard pond. Filter the water and keep the pump running year round and they survive. Then the blue herons discovered the pond and the wife went out and bought two blue heron statues which now stand guard to keep those sharp-eyed, long-legged waders in the air.

""Look at the size of that one!""
Believe it or not, girls, a man can get tired of hearing that. Try to be more original.
