"Does a horse need a suit? Does a horse like to wear a suit?"
"I think it’s very brilliantly done. The silhouette and the proportions and the fit are all outstanding." And of course a horse looks better in menswear. If you tried womenswear, it "could just end up being a big, voluminous mess."

This is more useful - for the proper sort of equestrian activity of course -

Also better looking IMHO.
The Cavalier Style. No Roundheads need apply.
Shoulda used a bow tie. This one will come untucked from the jacket and hang down.

Doesn't look too bad.
When you dress a horse in couture you end up with Sarah Jessica Parker.
This horse does look good.
'If you tried womenswear, it "could just end up being a big, voluminous mess."'
That's what they told Hillary.
I think I recognize that as one of Chris Christie's suits, isn't it?
'If you tried womenswear, it "could just end up being a big, voluminous mess."'
Speaking of "a big, voluminous mess," how about one of Hillary's pantsuits?
"Does a horse need a suit?"
Not if it is a casual event and he has a nice blazer and slacks.
That does look very well-fitted! I'm not a horse-whisperer, so I don't know what the horse thinks of it.
Carlyle wrote lugubriously of the wet cows in Gouda dressed in burlap, somewhere in Sartor Resartus.
The model said, "Does this jacket make me look fat?" A horse needs a suit like a fish needs a bicycle.
Horse-privilege. Such bullshit.
First, you wouldn't get a suit - much less a tailored one - where the pant legs ended halfway down the calf. You'd look like an idiot. We should be seeing a slight pooling of material around the hooves.
This, right here, is the bigotry of low expectations. Never mine the horse looks retarded, at least it's wearing pants on the right limbs, somebody give it a press release!
Second... not to put to fine a point on it, but if I went to work wearing pants where I had cut out the fabric around my thighs and genitalia... the only way I'd make the papers would be as a mugshot. Probably get fired too.
It did look good.
This is a horse that NEEDS a suit -

I learned on Captain Kangaroo that zebras wear striped pajamas.
The sleeves need to be longer and the shirt's cuffs to show. I am appalled!
The pant legs need to be longer, as well. And how about SHOES? Wingtips, I think.
A thoroughbred is a magnificent animal. Please don't play dress up with him as though he were a Ken doll. (imagine doing this to Secretariat)
LOL, Drago.
The horse is probably humiliated, thinking something like 'This beats wearing an Alpo Prime Cuts can, but just barely."
And I just realized all the horse's stuff would fall out of his jacket pockets. Not very good. Maybe they're those sewn-together pockets...I hate those.
Tim Gunn wearing brown shoes with a black pinstripe. Has he lost his mind?
Here's a great story written by James White, back in 1976 that looked at what's involved in tailoring a suit for a horse: www.lunsfordnet.com/get/pdf/23604
In a failed attempt to be humorous, I wanted to link to a "horse wearing a woman's hat" with a comment about horses looking good in women's wear, too.
So I googled that phrase, and learned to my dismay that google has some extremely misogynistic search results.
Ah HAH! Google is EVIL (maybe; perhaps; could be).
