"Ein österreichischer Radio-DJ sperrt sich im Studio ein und lässt zwei Stunden lang den Weihnachtsklassiker laufen. Erst seine Tochter kann ihn stoppen."
In case you can't remember "Last Christmas," here:
Now, go ahead and play it 24 times.

I love the fact that it took his daughter calling in and asking him to stop to get him to stop.
I hope he doesn't lose his job.
Still better than that Paul McCartney one.
Sorry - 24 times! Was it recorded by Jack Bauer? Besides, it reminds of Wisconsin cold . . . and what is that white stuff?
Aber der Shitstorm auf Facebook war weit grösser:
Publicity stunt.
The all-Christmas-carols all-the-time AM radio format, starting one July, ended in Florida some time ago.
I couldn't get all the way through it once.
There is such a thing as a volume control on most radios, so I'm not too upset about this report. Those kids who used to play $2 worth of Patsy Cline's "Stand By Your Man" on the Waffle House juke box, they riled me at 2:00am in the long ago when they did that as a prank. At least until my waffles arrived.
Was ist das Problem? Es ist nicht wie er spielte "Santa Baby".
So now that we know George is gay, when the camera pans in on the girl That George is looking at, with Andre ridgley sitting by her side, you know the camera should have panned A feet over to get Andrew face in the camera. That's ehere ageorge's eyes were.
This is one of those, she thinks he likes me but he really likes my boyfriend type scenarios.
Who ever thought George was NOT gay by the way.
All that frolicking in the snow was just so George could butter her up to find out if he could bone her boyfriend.
Now, go ahead and play it 24 times.
I tried. I really did. And I thought I was getting pretty close. Then I went back and counted, and realized that I hadn't even made it through one full rendition.
Aber der Shitstorm auf Facebook war weit grösser
I find it hard to believe that GEran speakers don't have their own word for "Shitstorm." Maybe thay do, but like other useful German words is 956 letters long and unpronounceable, and they just went with Shitstorm out of sheer laziness.
This along with "Silver Bells" and "Baby, it's Cold Outside" seem to be, at least on Pandora, the songs of the season.
Actually the song never made sense to me. If the singer gave her heart then what does it mean to give it away. Did her object of affection, fix her up with someone else? Did she fall for someone who did not return the affection? And does one have a right to complain about that?
Catchy tune but the lyrics confuse me.
24 Years Ago: New Mexico Radio Station Plays ‘Stairway to Heaven’ for 24 Hours

Second City TV used to have late night TV ads in among their skits. My two favorites were were Gordon Lightfoot sings every song ever writen, and every band in the world plays "Stairway to Heaven."
I don't know if I could listen to it 24 times straight. And I'm not going to test it by trying. But, as far as pop Christmas songs, its not terrible.
Kind of catchy actually.
What else do you want from pop music?
Those kids who used to play $2 worth of Patsy Cline's "Stand By Your Man"
No they didn't. Patsy Cline died five years before the song was released (by Tammy Wynette.) The vest version is by The Blues Brothers.
Love the 80s hair on all of them. As well as the 80s bad video quality.
When I was 11 a local DJ flipped out and played Chic's Le Freak 13 times in a row because he was sick of the requests.
And I love that 'shitstorm' can apparently be dropped into German as is.
Scheissesturm: problem is that just sounds like another SS division. On the other hand my knowledge of German is limited to the shouts of concentration camp guards in various holocaust films.

Lol. He has a job? Bless his heart!
