"Targets." "Existential." "Spiritual." "Magic."
My objections run along the lines of the aesthetic, mostly.
This is more fascinating as one digs into the concept of the default mode network(DMN) of the conscious mind. Functional MRI shows clear alteration in the DMN with psilocybin. Long terms effects on the sense of well-being and "connection" would be especially helpful for anxious patient with terminal cancer. Certainly can't hurt in a controlled environment.
Is forcing the patients to listen to endless hours of Grateful Dead bootleg tapes part of the treatment protocol? I'm told you can't have one without the other.

Hopefully not. For psilocybin densely produced, layered, classic Motown provides the most rewarding listening experience.
In my experience.
I'm in remission. Can I get some?
No thank you. I don't care what the "science" says.
Also, cocaine helps when your sick. It's a medicine.
Same with Heroin. My mothers, brothers, uncles, second cousins sister had cancer and Heroin healed her.
Let's not forget Meth. Meth also cures cancer. Or if it doesn't cure it, exactly, it helps you recover from chemo.
A friend in college tried shrooms. Said LSD was better, and that he'd NEVER turn down coke. Who am I to disagree?
Thank you, eric! I hadn't thought of all that :-)
But anyway, no thank you.
