Donald Trump and his allies have escalated a feud with Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly, with top deputy Michael Cohen retweeting a tweet from an account named “surfersfortrump” that said, “#boycottmegynkelly @realDonaldTrump we can gut her.”Those of us who have been following Scott Walker are very familiar with his frequent citation of one of the threats he received during the Wisconsin protests, directed at his wife Tonette, saying he wanted to "gut her like a deer."

Donald Trump, Scott Walker, and the notion of gutting a woman.

You can't say you'd like to bone a woman because that would sound dirty.
I understand he will not be on Fox News this morning. That may be a plus for Fox.
It's hunting. Short version of joke, redneck hunters go out, one accidently shoots the other, takes him to doctor, asks docter how he is, docter says he'd be a lot better if you hadn't gutted him.
Carly has spoken eloquently on Sunday on this issue.
She is the one we have been waiting for but she is way too smart to say it.
Feuds are good for free publicity.
Jack Benny and Fred Allen.
William F. Buckley and Gore Vidal.
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.
"The Donald" and insert a name here.
Megan Kelly must be estatic.

You are right, Madisonfella, that whole dust-up in Wisconsin was as civil as the queen of England's garden party. That nasty Scott Walker just would not listen to reason and then he told all those terrible lies. Too bad that nice Mr. Chisolm was such a jack-booted thug who wanted to silence those who disagreed with his political positions.
The fact is that there was a vicious political battle in Wisconsin where impassioned individuals did all sorts of things that they might not have done in ordinary circumstances. Walker came out on top, but I am sure that many are scheming to reverse that asap. Politics are never over.
Hillary would never lie about being threatened or even shot at. Vote for her.

Trump's "we can gut her" is clearly metaphorical since it is given in the context of of a boycott (Judging by comments from diehard trumpkins that I've read lately, the Megyn Kelly boycott has already taken hold.) In broadcast industry ergot being gutted means losing core viewership, so when Trump says "we can gut her" he probably means his followers can significantly reduce Kelly's ratings, which currently the highest of any 24-hour cable news channel personality.
The "gut her like a deer" remark directed at Tonette Walker sounds much more like a crude threat intended to terrorize. Given the why the Left has treated its "enemies" historically, Walker would have been justified in charging the villain with communicating a threat - a misdemeanor but a serious one.
Now is the time for Hillary to step up and show solidarity with Megyn and all other mistreated women. Hillary should agree to a one hour interview with Kelly. Kelly can ask her all sorts of probing and tough questions and Hillary can demonstrate her poise and knowledge of the issues. This would be a win for women everywhere. I'm sure Hillary is arranging such an interview even as we speak. There's sme logistical difficulties in getting hell to freeze over, but the final arrangements will soon be completed.

I don't think Megyn Kelly minds. For her it is publicity and ratings, and Trump et al. may feel free to call her anything they want to.
Trump (himself) does a lot of babbling so that it is hard to make out what he is saying, if indeed anything.
But if you are a politician running for president and you favorability score is half or less of his, that should tell you something - like don't quit the job you already have if you need the money.
Trump is sadly a t**d in a silk suit

You're the only one making that claim, not I.
Nice attempt at a diversion though. Looks like some of your teammates (sockpuppets?) went along with it and decided to personalize attacks against the messenger in an attempt to deflect away from the actual truth.
Your Uncle Saul must very very proud of the work you're doing.
Of the two, Megyn lost more in the exchange. Far more in fact.
Walker would have been justified in charging the villain with communicating a threat - a misdemeanor but a serious one.
That would have required the alleged threat actually being presented and shown. Truth of the matter is, there is no record of it ever actually happening.

Poor Inga. All dressed up and no place to go.
I feel bad for Megyn. To be shown up like a classy guy like Trump like that. I mean, when he tweets and twirps about women, he is just kidding. But he has no time for political correctness, not him. No sir. He is too busy making America great again. She is a nice girl, but over her head, ya know. Trump could buy and sell twenty five of her out of his pocket change (and probably has, haha). Yup, Trump is telling it like it needs to be told.
Every circus needs a clown, and the Trumpster is showing that he knows how to meet a need.

Sorry, missed the reference.

The modern vernacular use of "gut a woman" refers to abortion. It left the urban jungle and became popular in public usage with revelations of Gosnell's Clinic of Horrors and Planned Parenthood's careful harvesting and resale of unwanted and inconvenient human bodies. However, outside of a pro-choice context, it refers to a lesser charge of marginalizing or neutralizing someone's ability to act, including: institutional discrimination/class diversity, slanderous accusations/assertions, authoritative coercion, litigation limbo, progressive redistribution schemes, demographic dilution, etc.

LOL penquin. This "long history" apparently consists of two incidents, and your links don't prove that Walker lied. Both are "there is no proof this happened" type arguments, although the first link, regarding the "gut like a deer" quotes corroboration from current Capitol Police Chief David Erwin, then a captain in the governor’s Dignitary Protection Unit, "Generally we do not discuss security related issues as it relates to the dignity protection unit. With that said, I do recall showing the Governor the threat referenced in your questions.”
The third link is just a reference to the same two instances.
You have a long history as being a moron and a liar. Albeit under multiple aliases.
Pretty sure the gutting talk, or the destroying talk or the exploding talk, is all just more fallout from listicle clickbait formatting. In every sidebar on Facebook, pjmedia, blogs, wherever, you're going to see half a dozen Outbrain links and the caption will be "how X guts Y in 16 words" or some such thing. You getting hung up on it just lowers you in our eyes.
I know I know, too long for your hummingbird attention span. Two words: civility b*******.
Yes, SW is not only battle tested, but (most importantly) he fights the battles to win and is accustomed to victory.
Gahrie is absolutely correct. Scott Walker has no more credibility than Hillary Clinton does.
Thanks for pointing that out.
PS to Curious George I am STILL waiting for this "absolute proof" you have that shows I'm this "penguin" girl you keep saying I am. You promised to provide it a long time ago - are you ever actually going to do so or were you lying about that?
Poor Scotty.
Been Trumped.
"I've been mostly ignoring Donald Trump"- Yes folks, that was Althouse just one month ago. Now she's on the Trump Train, where it's lots of Trump all the time. Every day brings more Trump until there's Trump upon Trump upon Trump. Trump tramp.

You progressives will never take responsibility for your actions. Your policies cause ruin and misery 100's of times and in every place they are tried throughout history they fail. You still push them using myriad excuses as to why it failed last time or as in this case trying to rewrite history.
You people can no longer use ignorance as an excuse. You are violent evil people who applaud the use of police force to silence your opponents. The only good thing is you are bad at it.
I make a truthful but unpleasant comment about Walker, and Achilles tries to deflect away from that by making six untruthful statements about me.
Which is a pretty typical response from the low-information voters. They have no idea what the issues actually are or what's being discussed (or they don't care), but they've been conditioned to hate those people and thus they can only respond to the messenger rather than the message.
They can only respond to the messenger rather than the message.
And the message is "gut her like a deer."
I still can't find that truthful comment about Walker. Maybe you dreamt it, mad?

Garage's social worker forgot to log off her AOL account, again?
I grew up when "Dick Nixon" was a common cry of the left.
The double entendre: a more elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.
Something I heard on TV today:
Paraphrasing: I wonder what would happen if at the next GOP debate all the candidates were asked for a show of hands if they would support Trump if Trump wins the nomination.
Interesting question but it doesn’t stand a chance in hell of being asked. Why? Because Fox and the rest of the MSM are going to do their best to derail his candidacy and THAT particular question would not help them do that.
It seems that the GOP establishment has decided it doesn’t want Trump supporters to be a part of the GOP. Else why would they be constantly insulting them?
Another thought: What happens if any political party loses 20% of their voters? Has the GOP establishment decided it would rather lose the election if it means supporting Trump? Will any of us be surprised if the GOP establishment chooses defeat over victory for the sake of party ‘purity?’
I think the best thing the RNC can do if they want to win is simply to treat Trump like they would any other candidate. Trump himself will not be the judge of this. Trump supporters will be the judge.
Many anti-Trumpers are excited about Trump’s lack of policy. They miss the point entirely of his political success, which has nothing to do about policy details.
Go ahead and ignore Trump, or if you cannot do that, vilify him. See where it gets you. See where it gets the other GOP candidates. And see where it gets Trump.
