What actress will play the part of Ruth Bader Ginsburg?

Natalie Portman.

AND: "Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan to reunite for movie about young Karl Rove." Radcliffe is playing Lee Atwater. DeHaan (of whom I'd never previously heard) is playing young Rove... and he really looks like him.

Isn't Justice Ginsburg considered an "old-fashioned" feminist - one who truly believes in equality of the sexes without devolving into male-bashing?

I'm also trying to remember the last time a (future or present) Supreme Court justice was portrayed in a movie. Well, there was Sidney Poitier as Thurgood Marshall in a docudrama about Brown v. Board of Education. And the entire Court was portrayed in "The People vs. Larry Flynt," but they were treated as little more than featured players.

Richard Epstein is not a fan of Ginsberg. Epstein believes that she sometimes reaches her opinions by using obscure or out-of-context phrasing from earlier decisions. She wants the constitution to mean what she wants it to mean.

I dont know, Ruth Ginsberg wasn't bad looking when she was young. Not movie star looks, but an easy Hollywood stretch.
Still, even then she was much more Jewish looking than Portman.

Portman referred to herself as a " leftist" in a recent interview and deplored Bibi's "horrific racist" comments. Having thereby distinguished herself as just another Ivy League pinhead, she is a good choice for Justice Ruth.

It is unfortunate that her parents chose to leave Israel too soon. Had she grown up their, she might have had a sense of the reality of Israeli life and have learned that Islam is not a race, Iranians are not Arabs and recognizing Iranian and Arab terrorism is not racism.

I am a huge fan of Natalie Portman. This is going to screw up my sexual fantasies in a big way. Might have to avoid this movie just to keep my fantasy life kosher.

But of course the big problem is that they will whitewash all the bad stuff. None of that will make it into the movie. It's like a movie about Jefferson while you ignore that slavery thing. Or a movie about Charles Lindbergh while you ignore all the bad stuff.

Yes, fine, she's a hero. But she's also a flawed human being who has participated in atrocities. Tell the truth, historians.

As a Pimp, a girl like Natalie Portman in your stable is a tricky thing. Sure, she has that classy-intellectual-dignity thing going for her, and the customers always like that "what's a girl like you doing a thing like this?" vibe.

However, when the customer pays his three hundred cash only for her to tell him that she won't do doggy-style because she finds it "demeaning": we've got a problem.

Natalie: distractedly stroking a man's penis with your hand while only fleetingly putting your lips to the tip of his cock is NOT a blow-job. Don't even get me going on her reasons for not doing anal.

So you have a girl capable of Big Money, and she leaves a consistent trail of disappointed customers: customers that start to think that you, her Pimp, can't even keep his bitch in line. This -- of course -- cannot be allowed to stand. If the girl even thinks she has the upper hand then she's not the bitch, YOU are the Bitch.

At first you can try to reason with her -- basic economics, supply-and-demand, that sort of thing -- but when she starts going on about "I am renting out my vagina but I am NOT renting out my Soul" you realize that the course of discussion will go nowhere fast.

Normally in this situation you would give the girl a simple tune-up and all would be fine, but Natalie Portman Girls will run off to the next Pimp if you even try to go there. On the one hand, that's fine: let her be someone else's problem.

But on the other hand, a Pimp that let's a Prestige Girl go just because he can't control her -- your reputation in the Pimp Community takes a mighty hit, and now you are fair game for poaching.

And to add insult to injury: then pretty soon the ugly fifty-dollar girls think that THEY can get away with that dignity shit, and that's Anarchy.

So: drugs it is.

Now you can go at this long-term or short-term. Short term is, obviously, meth. She will fall in line, and stability in the Stable returns. The problem with meth is it is hell on the face and teeth, and pretty quickly your three-hundred-dollar-girl is just a fifty-dollar girl who twitches a lot.

For a more long-term approach you have to be more selective with the drugs. You don't want to use cocaine, because she is full of herself already -- you don't need to amp that shit up.

Heroin's wear-and-tear is slower than meth, but now she has no energy, and when a girl nods out in the middle of an Appointment the customer will inevitably take advantage and partake of some anal that he is not even paying for. You can NEVER let the customer think he has got one over on you, for obvious reasons.

No, if you want to keep her around for awhile painkillers are the way to go. The 'Natalie' Girls become much more compliant, and -- even if they still balk at anal -- they at least will go doggy-style without protest.

For a Pimp, sometimes that's enough.

I'm not ordinarily into ballet movies, but the hot lesbo scene with Mila Kunis really got me involved in the challenges and problems young ballerinas face in their quest for excellence. Perhaps a similar scene in the RPG biopic would serve to broaden the appeal of the movie.

I saw the movie about Stephen Hawking. It was frankly hagiographic. I think there's a darker story to be told about his life, but, on the other hand, if ever a guy deserved an hagiography, it's Stephen Hawking. I won't make any type of cheap joke about it being easy for an ALS sufferer to maintain a stiff upper lip, but the man did show tremendous stoicism in the face of hideous difficulties. The movie makes clear that when you suffer from ALS, the disease has no effect on your libido or ability to have an erection or orgasm. That can't be much of a plus if you're a quadriplegic. Still the man managed to have relations with his wife and father several children......I have read that he was even a guest at Epstein's orgy island. Well, good for him. That wasn't in the movie, but it should have been. The man is an inspiration to quadriplegics everywhere.

Ginsberg has ruled that the first amendment does not protect free speech rights or religious conscious rights, and that the second amendment does not guarantee a right to bear arms, if the legislative or executive branch of the federal government deems otherwise.
These are the first and second items in the bill of rights.
Ginsberg is no friend of American freedom or of the American constitution.

Religious organizations exist to foster the interests of persons subscribing to the same religious faith.
This is a very Jewish way to look at religion. I'm pretty sure that Catholics believe that it is just as immoral to terminate the pregnancies of Jewish women as it is to terminate the pregnancies of Catholic women. Somehow the people who believe that Scalia, Roberts, Alito, and Thomas are pushing a Catholic interpretation of the constitution are unable to see that Kagan, Ginsberg, and Breyer are pushing a secular Jewish interpretation of the constitution.

Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.

Some others noticed that interview and were concerned.

At the very least, Ginsburg displays a disturbing insensitivity to Supreme Court history. It was Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. who wrote the 1927 decision approving forced sterilization for Carrie Buck — a 17-year-old single mother judged to be feebleminded and morally delinquent. “It is better for all the world,” ruled Holmes, “if instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime, or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind.” Such elitism has been discredited; it is not extinct.

The entire Ginsburg interview is a reminder of the risks of lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court. Immune from criticism, surrounded by plump cushions of deference, the temperament of a justice can become exaggerated over time. For Ginsburg, complex arguments are now “so obvious” and “can never be otherwise” — and opposition is fated to failure. Such statements, made during Ginsburg’s own nomination hearing, would have been disqualifying. Now she doesn’t give a damn.

Oliver Wendell Holmes fell on the wrong side of the eugenics issue, but that shouldn't diminish the fact that over a long life he was right about most issues. According to Wiki, he's still one of the most cited Justices ever.....He should be the one getting the biopic honors. He was an Abolitionist from a Boston Brahmin family. He joined up and fought bravely in some of the bloodiest Civil War battles. I'm not familiar with the lives of many Supreme Court Justices, but, so far as I know, he is the only Supreme Court Justice who could be credibly played by an action movie star.......Instead they make a movie about RPG. I knew that after the commercial success of Fifty Shades, they were bound to get the movie rights to her rulings, but Oliver Wendell Holmes remains the most cinematic and dramatic personage to have ever sat on the Supreme Court.
