"... that ANYBODY gives a d*amn about you or what you have to say? Well, just in case you haven’t noticed—I couldn’t give two f*cks about you or what you have to say. F*ck you, old man. You’re a joke. Your court’s a joke. You take it up the a*s; and you suck nuts. Lol."
From a motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, "Notice To F*ck This Court And Everything That It Stands For."

Holy shit, that woman's been scorned.
Having seen quite a few episodes from the "Law & Order" franchise, I've come to believe, as a layman, that "pro se" is the funniest term in the legal profession. (I also find it interesting that while you must be a licensed lawyer to represent someone else, nothing prevents you from representing yourself, no matter how unqualified - or in this case, uncouth - you are.)
I don't know the substance of this case. Maybe the fellow is in the wrong and is a complete fool. Maybe he is in the right, but has lost hope for justice. I have been involved indirectly in several such cases, sufficiently to understand the sentiment anyway.
It is perfectly reasonable, and traditionally admirable, for an unjustly treated man to defy the law, run to the hills and live as a bandit.
Well, as an attorney, I'm pretty sure I'd be out of business so to speak if I submitted that to the Court.
Could be entertaining I guess.
From my jail cell.
ah, I see it was from the woman in the case.
It will be interesting to see what happens. Here in MI if you write rude or obscene comments on legal forms or parking tickets the judges will summon you and impose fines. Seeing as how she's in jail already this thing will merely pass into courtroom lore, sound and fury signifying nothing. No fucks given on either side.
Really bad trolling too. For instance:
"I couldn’t give two f*cks about you or what you have to say"
Dude, you just filed a motion that's pretty insistent on how many fucks you give.
Layman question: Does this count as contempt?
Florida people.
JPS said...Does this count as contempt?
The sad truth, is that this motion will be presented at every parole hearing, and the board will chuckle a bit, as the prisoner is led back to the exercise yard.
I agree.
It's an immature and misanthropic temper tantrum. Whatever sanctions are available at all levels should be imposed.
The way to win a case? Is it being taught in law schools?
Shorter filing: The Law is an ass.
And, of course, it often is.
Hmmm. What are the chances that the husband merely used his wife as the nominal mover,. I get a distinctly male, internet troller vibe--laced with "lol"s-- from this motion/rant.
Also, what's with the "F*ck"? It's like a throwback to some 50s-60s literary convention (remember "fug"?)

Wow, so apparently what I gather is that she thinks she isn't entitled to obey laws because Florida is not a part of union or something. And that she doesn't have to pay taxes.
Ok then.
The motion is evidence that law school should be made less theoretical and more practical.
"I NEVER stated that I am not a citizen of any nation. Don't try to twist my words. I said that my family and I are the posterity of those who conquered this land and have thus inherited it from them; and that you citizens of the United States,
as defined by the 4th
Amendment to the U.S. federal Constitution in 1868 have no rights to anything here. I said we are Floridian-Americans-but
our lawful State government has been overthrown by insurgent federal citizens, citizens
of the United States), like you"
Wait, what is this now? Is this some kind of reparations thing? I'm not entitled to anything here?
Is she black, Mexixan? Indian?
What grievance allows her to inherit everything?
This reminds me of the scene in Blow where after George Jung gets caught trafficking pot he rattles off It Aint Me Babe and Pretty Boy Floyd lyrics as justification for selling weed:
George: [stands] Alright. Well, in all honesty, I don't feel that what I've done is a crime. And I think it's illogical and irresponsible for you to sentence me to prison. Because, when you think about it, what did I really do? I crossed an imaginary line with a bunch of plants. I mean, you say I'm an outlaw, you say I'm a thief, but where's the Christmas dinner for the people on relief? Huh? You say you're looking for someone who's never weak but always strong, to gather flowers constantly whether you are right or wrong, someone to open each and every door, but it ain't me, babe, huh? No, no, no, it ain't me, babe. It ain't me you're looking for, babe. You follow?
and the judge follows with:
Judge: Yeah... Gosh, you know, your concepts are really interesting, Mister Jung.
George: Thank you.
Judge: Unfortunately for you, the line you crossed was real and the plants you brought with you were illegal, so your bail is twenty thousand dollars."
Here's the right way to do it.

"my family and I are the posterity of those who conquered this land and have thus inherited it from them; and that you have no rights to anything here"
Uhm. Your ancestors did the same thing to the Clovis people that our ancestors did to yours.
So. Evensies. For now.
"Motion Denied", I'm guessing?
She is black, and was participating in a plot to break her husband out of jail. The Florida Indians that fought the US in the 19th century included a large number of runaway slaves. This woman may be a descendant of these Indianized slaves or may have Indian ancestors. Either is possible.
If I recall correctly, with respect to Florida, her people (if her claims are valid) were conquered fair and square (as these things go), and they subsequently surrendered on terms. It was quite a fight too.
So in that sense she doesn't seem to have much of a legal point.
The CIA and tax things are straight out of the land of kooks, so I suspect she may have an insanity defense.
When I clerked for the Senior Judge of the Eastern District of California, which had several prisons within its jurisdiction, pleadings like this were pretty regular fare.
I'm surprised this one seems noteworthy in today's climate of incivility.
Most interesting bit: she used "your" and "you're" correctly. Impressive.
In order,

The backdrop being the new unelderly, old before but nevertheless wonder if you even smidgenly dare doubt my declamation they are NEWLY AGING, hence time.
Always there and never taking anything for granted.
Happy and grateful for every moment.

I had hoped that all those who seek could transpire glory to God almighty.
I had hoped that.
I had hoped Martin Luther King's character would have withstood the fucking goddamned interloption that's gone on.
And, with and by God, it does.
I got to about page 30/64 of the document posted at Scribd. Something seriously weird was going on.
As much as I dislike the language being headlined, am wondering if it wasn't warranted.
If it only takes you one month to study world history, your capacity for understanding is pretty low or distorted.
This is sad, not funny. From the rant:
It took me about 1 month to study the history of the world and to learn the history and inner workings American jurisprudence, literally. ... Don’t you know that your FBI and CIA have been trying to recruit me since grade school?
This lady may have a mental illness. Given the loaded weapons and the jail break plot, it is obvious that she can't be let loose.

I'd thought AReasonableMan was white. And a man. And, somehow, not Floridian.
