"Do you have a skeleton already?"/"Is that a trick question?"

Penn Jillette, in a conversation about a skeleton — a second skeleton, outside his body — for his home decorating scheme which includes a nice Scrabble-themed bathroom and the color pink (because he tends not to look at things). Also, he's lost over 100 pounds.

He can lose another hundred pounds by getting rid of Teller.

Sometimes I'll gaze in wonder at an obese person and I'll think to myself, "Underneath all that fat is a normal sized skeleton, deeply encased within."

I've got a pretty good imagination, same as just about everybody.

The story about getting the skeleton from the medical supply house was to cover up the fact that he's already gotten rid of Teller.

He needs a neck lift, if there was only a world-class plastic surgeon to the stars around. Well, we can blame Martin Short for that wattle.

Penn was always my kind of atheist.

Cool bathroom - I see a business opportunity in making customized scrabble wallpaper and tiles.

I wouldn't call his office or cello pink. More of a violet.

Ditto the comments about Teller. I always thought he detracted rather than added to the act.

I also have a skeleton in my abode...also a real one, not a plastic replica. I bought it over 30 years ago for only $300.00 from a guy here in NYC who provided and repaired skeletons to art schools (and presumably, med schools). He had an ad on the back page of the Village Voice, and, as I was taking life drawing classes at the Art Students League, I thought a skeleton would be a valuable aid to learning the body's structure. He had a loft on 14th and 6th Avenue with bones and skeletons all over the place.

I named the skeleton Clarence.

I don't think we agree on many things but I'd love to have a beer with you.

I am Laslo.
