The same kind of attention to detail that led to the plagiarism debacle...

Shallowness goes to the bone.

Baiting Scott to take a shot that would expose him to the Debbie Wasserman republican war on women charge.

Cunning.

How unusual that only the woman was charged with domestic abuse. But of course, now they have to release the medical records to try to show she really was abused, it was just the stupid police(males, I guess) that didn't file charges against her husband.

War on women!

Bice pulled his punch in the opening sentence.

"Why would Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke choose someone once charged with domestic abuse to star in her latest campaign ad?"

could more accurately read

"Why would Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke choose someone who once pleaded guilty to domestic abuse to star in her latest campaign ad?"

I'm sure it's because she didn't know. Shit happens. Plenty of real stud to argue about. Plus, I'm sure she'd say nothing if the shoe were on the other foot.

Separation of private and public life... Or so she thought. It seems that Americans still have a shred of morality.

(a) You go to war with the army you've got (can't remember who said that).

(b) It's no big deal. So the wife slugged the husband a couple of times. I'm sure we'd be just as understanding if it was the husband who slugged the wife, right?

Right?

She's a biter. But no big deal. That animalistic stuff must be a Wisconsin game. Needless to say the jerk never asked her for a blow job after that, but he immediately filed for divorce.

It's War on Cannibals.

Her lawyer's name is Lautenschlager. I like Lautenschlager. Pours to a small, off-white, soapy head, which, as everyone knows, are delicate flowers that never initiate violence.

Has there ever been a case of public outcry over domestic abuse where a man is the victim?

This seems like a trap for silly conservatives who seem to think equality goes both ways.

Forrest is a "passionate advocate for women"

I guess that explains it.

In War on Women World, women are still victims, even when they're actually the victimizer.

In War on Women World, people just understand that.

So, yes, Mary Burke's campaign may have been clueless, again. But no big deal.
