Ha I was just watching it and then came here. Pretty cool.

But what does this have to do with Jill Abramson. Some kind of metaphor?

I'm amazed people have to put everything on Youtube so music. I know I can turn off the sound, but really - nature does not need a music track to be impressive.

Looks like a large GOP elephant about to stomp some Democrats.

But what does this have to do with Jill Abramson

Image looks like a big GOP elephant foot coming down to stomp on women - classic "War on Women" meme.

James Pawlak, I posted before your comment at 4:17 showed up - comment moderation, you know.

Stomp!

Reminds me of a squirrel. Wearing shorts.

I would actually have been more impressed without the music and the fish-eye lens. I guess I mean: If I'd been there.

Still, God (or Nature, if you prefer) is mighty impressive.

The Althouse Vortex.

Music ruins it. Fish-eye doesn't help either.

For some reason it made me think of the distressing video of the base jumper who hit the cliff on the way down and whose camera recorded every ouch! bump ow! on the way aiiee! down

A giant pig snout, come down to snort up some earth.

You guys up there get these round spaceship storms. Down here we get blotchy waves or tides.

Driving through Illinois we once encountered one of your round storms, serious-looking enough that we had to exit the interstate and race it to a rural town of less than 1000 people where we hid out in a bar with a basement until it passed. While we were racing it, I wondered for a moment if I might be asleep because the sky looked more like something from a nightmare than a real sky.

We may get worse storms overall, but yours are spookier looking.
