In Colorado...

... there were hints of Wisconsin, to which we have returned.

"Recall Walker"— on a Colorado car! But we enjoyed our temporary place at Colorado's table...

A toast to Colorado...

(And to the Wisconsin Badgers, for whom we chewed our fingertips to the bone this evening.)

White guys from Wisconsin advance to Sweet 16!

White Guy Pride Parade Planned for tomorrow, right?

Well, no, that's not the right sort of pride.

I'll wear ass chaps if that will help!

Visiting Denver is like visiting a nasty theocracy. I always feel a pall of PC descend upon me, dimming the world. It wasn't always that way, but starting in the 80's the state started to go to Hell. Yes, it is that sort of theocracy. They should have closed their borders long ago.

What do you call a person with an "Obama '12" bumper sticker on their car?

Slow learner.

Birches म्हणाले...

That's why I've vowed a vow to never go to Boulder...

We had a friend that had to commute there for awhile and he said he could always tell he was getting close because the Bumper stickers all talked about Mother Gaia and whatnot.

That Colorado car is a transplant. It was bought at Zimbrick.

The Badgers played a great game. The Ducks must have been really mad at losing to them judging from that last play when the Badger's star was shoved down to the floor in bitter retaliation.

Harvard lost. But Mercer plays tomorrow. Mercer is a small, private Liberal Arts college in Macon, Georgia that is still a rare Southern Baptist dominated school. I live 70 miles north of Mercer. but I never even heard they had a basketball team.

That's a mighty undertheorized set of bumper stickers.

Inquiring minds want to know if the mountain peaks on the Colorado license plate turn blue after the Coors Light gets cold?

Fun game to watch. Oregon was a solid team, but the Big Ten is tougher than the PAC 10 (and ACC) and it's showing

wouldn't brag on the big 10, 11,15,whatever the number is now just yet! The worst conference in America, the SEC is 100% in post season play. No team had lost yet, including my UK wildcats. Cant say the same about any other conference. We get a shot at the Shockers this afternoon, and truthfully, we should handle them. They have never seen size like ours. The only worry I do have is that we had only 10 minutes of returning NCAA experience till the first game. If we hold our composure, we'll be taking out those pretenders UL Cardinals.(another team WAAAY over rated)

Anyway, the cats have played 10 teams in the top 50, and seven of those teams are still playing so we are battle tested.

Why blur the numbers on the license plate?
No expectation of privacy when proclaiming your righteousness on a public highway, amirite?
Feel free to show my plate number- I proclaim my righteousness only in blog posts.

Badger hockey team won in sudden death. Big Ten hockey tournament champs!

Still miss the WCHA though.

A lefty who walked on Walker, transferring to a different and seemingly more secure bubble. Zimbrick, a Wisconsin car dealer, has lost a customer.

Jesus sure is convenient.

Ah, a "good German".

Well, other than Islamic imperialism (a left-wing regime), only Atheism under the direction of left-wing ideology, has murdered, enslaved, and otherwise exploited more people, and in a far shorter time. This is not even considered the several hundred million murdered/aborted from conception to around birth.

As for "free" medical insurance, it is offered at the expense of liberty, and with a progressive cost-of-living. It ensures neither affordability nor availability, but was designed to capture votes and private capital.

Christianity bears a resemblance but is incompatible with left-wing ideology. It is notably individual-centric with a distinct emphasis on voluntary associations. In fact, it was Jesus, or rather his Father, that noted neither producer nor consumer should become the unwilling servant of the other.

Althouse are you a real Badger fan? As an employee of the university, I suppose I could understand. But I always thought (at least it was true for me) that one's real sporting loyalty rests with one's alma mater. Is that not the case with you?

Go Blue.

(Of course, Michigan ended up coasting against Texas. No nailbiting needed.)

The probability that the driver of the "Recall Walker" vehicle is a native Coloradan is small.

In the mid-90s, Californians fleeing the self-inflicted debacle that was California, ended up in a several traditionally conservative states, Colorado among them. They came in such large numbers that they actually changed the political demographics of the state.

The People's Republic of Boulder was, of course, always the Colorado outlier.
