Dang, those are some skinny legs, but nice.

Shawn Levasseur म्हणाले...

Does snow shoveling fall under the "athletic activity" exemption?

Bob Boyd म्हणाले...

Those legs haven't seen shorts in a while. Pale as a slug's belly.
Big hands.

YoungHegelian म्हणाले...

Bare legs are one thing.

No gloves is insanity.

He should be eating an egg salad sandwich.

What's up with the boots? Sandals out for repair?

I think guys in shorts in winter are trying to make a statement. Look at me, I'm tough. Tattoo mentality.

Big Mike म्हणाले...

Whoever he is, in shorts and no gloves he's way tougher than I am. Or less sane.

Note that he's got the laptop open to Althouse.

If 50 of us sent you pictures like that, would you eat an egg salad sandwich - or post a compilation of pictures?

1. Shorts.
2. No gloves.
3. Snow.
4. Althouse.

What we see here is Colin Kaepernick showing off the only un-tattooed part of his body in -7F weather. Colin likes cold weather.

Madness! Here in Southwest Florida, it was down in the lower 40s this morning. I know, sounds balmy to all of you folks Up North, but it's cold for here. Most people at work wore jeans and had a sweatshirt, including me, but there were a few hardy souls who wore shorts as usual. I normally wear shorts at work for comfort, but not when it's that cold. Sometimes you just have to have that reality check and dress appropriately for the weather.

"Up North" starts at the Florida-Georgia border, by the way. Some would put it even further south than that!

Bilwick म्हणाले...

I often wonder if the shorts-in-winter people are the same as the wool-hats-in-August people.

Florida: The only state where the further north you go, the further South you go.

Can a person still find Meade on this blog? On another blog, he accused me of classism. I know, go ahead and laugh. Well, I'm here to say that yes, you are correct. I have dirty socks that have more class than you, Meade.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Good grief, the Lemmings, have to come over here and start trouble now? Pathetic.

Meade म्हणाले...

I'm sorry to hear that, Allen. You probably have Dirty Socks Syndrome. I can help you with planting acorns but you'll likely need a trained professional technician to help you with your Dirty Socks Syndrome. Good luck and God speed.

I played a nice round of golf this morning in SoCal. Didn't wear shorts, either. My two friends did though.

They don't read Althouse.

granted, i live in california, but i still hear comments all winter about the fact that i wear shorts year-round. i find long pants to be uncomfortable so i don't own any. however,i do wear gloves to keep my fingers warm when the temps dip into the 50's.
