Next time you come to Texas, get out of Austin and see some of the nice parts of Texas. I spent 11 years in Austin (1958 - 1969), but I would sooner visit a garbage dump now. It was a great place then, but it is not by accident that they call Austin "weird" today.

@Rusty We were visiting family.
One of the hayseeds up here in the northern PA woods had a garage sale over the summer. The sign read "Groj Sale".
I think "Hayseed" might be one of those words that locate you pretty directly. I haven't heard it since I lived right on the NY Penn border.
