"Sack of potatoes subdued without incident."

"A Kalispell Police officer and a Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officer were able to remove a five-pound sack of potatoes reported hanging from a tree on Seventh Street East that looked like it might fall into the street. Apparently, the potatoes were subdued without causing any mayhem."

Update:
The young russets, cold and hungry, but otherwise unharmed, were released from cruel confines of the sack and are reported to be doing well at the local vegetable shelter.

Did you read the other entries in the police blotter??

There's an awful lot of mental health, and alcohol issues. I'm guessing in-the-good-old-days those people just turned up missing.
