One way to defeat the surveillance state.

In China, there are cameras everywhere, but if you pick a smoggy day — which is pretty much every day — they won't see you.

And the air quality of the large cities in China will encourage people of all religions and both sexes to start wearing face masks, which for purposes of concealing identity are nearly as good.

We dress like students, we dress like housewives,
Or in a suit and a tie

But you don't understand: This is Chinese smog. You know, the "People's Smog".

It's not anything like that icky capitalist smog you find in the US.

This is the smog of the "Workers Paradise" and of the brave band of revolutionaries marching toward a glorious future.

As opposed to those horrible Americans with their fracking-murder and republican obstructionists!
