"The Daily Show" does a great job with the NSA story here, with John Oliver doing his first day substituting for Jon Stewart.

To the extent that Snowden has helped, looking at the bright side and all that jazz, the, what-are-we-going-to-call-it? has help us come to terms with the conditions of a service contract almost nobody reads or cares too much about.

That's what friends like Althouse and Volokh are for.

The writers are the same. The punchlines and gestures are the same. Only the faces and accents are different.
