Superintendent Matt Goodridge said: 'Surrey Police will not tolerate language used in a public place, including on social media websites, which causes harassment, alarm or distress.'

"Eleven people have been arrested around Britain for making 'racist or anti-religious' comments on Twitter following the brutal killing in Woolwich on Wednesday."
"A force spokesman said 'We have received a number of reports from local members of the public about tweets and Facebook comments that could potentially incite racial hatred and violence."

The future must not belong to those who profane the Prophet Of Islam.

That quote is shocking.
It causes me alarm and distress and a feeling of harassment.
Someone call the police. To arrest the police.
Seriously, please god, may the First Amendment in the USA stand strong.
No matter whom the POTUS says "the future must not belong to"--
I say (or pray), the future must not belong to those who stomp on freedom of speech.
Won't be tolerated unless it's the anti-Western radical Islamic variety. Real threats are brushed under the table while rhetorical threats are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
LOL.
But when they know about militant muzzies talking violence, they don't give a rip.
Remember when Britain's empire spanned most of the globe?
Somebody get us a spoonful of sugar!
I weep for the England I knew.....
The government is responsible for the nonsense. The protests should be directed against government officials.
Perhaps Britain needs a Tea and Crumpets Party.
Given the prior comments on this blog relating to the Kaitlyn Hunt case, I suspect most of Ann's posters should have no problem with these arrests. After all, these people broke "the law."
Bottom line, Leftists are against freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and freedom of association. They want to place what they consider to be "reasonable" rules on our freedoms. They are tyrannical.
Sheesh, it's no wonder we rebelled (and won) against these wusses. Now they are toast on their own soil.

Never never express your violent tendencies in words, just go out and commit them. The key is in who you commit violence toward. Always choose a member of the currently unpopular political group as your victim and do it in the name of a currently popular political group.
Have these people never read Machiavelli?

One can be law abiding and still not agree with the law.
Here's a indication of the state of freedoms of speech and the press in the UK: from the Daily Mail website where a related article is posted, "SORRY WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT COMMENTS FOR LEGAL REASONS.".
Pigs.
I knew that Great Britain did not have a written constitution or something like the First Amendment but until now I had thought that they had freed om of speech. I mean there is Speakers' Corner and all that.
Well, you live and learn. I guess that gives us extra reason on Memorial Day to be grateful when we remember the sacrifice of the soldiers who won our freedom from Great Britain 230 years ago.
Lee Rigby was killed. That's what the article says. Killed.
No. He was murdered, hacked to death.
But please, don't get angry.
I had a Brit friend in college who thought we made too much of our constitution. Remembering that always cracks me up.
Did the Brits ever arrest the cold-blooded freak who murdered Lee Rigby? Or is it a crime in Britain to arrest radical islamists who commit murder?
It's the Brits' own damn fault for coddling the monsters in their midst and then living in fear of them.
The British welfare state pays more in dole to Islamo hate-preachers than the Royal Army does in salary to their own soldiers.
The Royal Constabulary are targeting tweeters because tweeters don't literally butcher people who draw their ire.
Cutting heads off is OK.
Some editor at the BBC has said that it's much easier to do stories mocking Christians than muzzies because Christians write letters--muzzies send bombs and bring machetes.
You'd think that would tell them something, but maybe British is English for stupid.
Really hard to know what to make of this without knowing what the tweets and comments were.
No doubt, that won't stop people from reaching conclusions.
The repression will continue until Islamist morale improves.
Coming soon to a previously proud and free nation somewhere near you!
Do you remember the Truth Teams that were "organized" back in 2008?
Benjamin Flatters, of Swineshead, Lincs, faces a charge under the 1988 Malicious Communications Act following a message he posted on Facebook on 22 May which is alleged to be offensive to Muslims.
No details of the message were given at the hearing but another man was warned about his conduct on social media.
Flatters, who spoke only to confirm his name, age and address, was refused bail by Lincoln Magistrates following a 20 minute hearing.
Refused bail for a facebook comment?
Fucking hell.
It's Barry's wet dream.
Something else in that article:
The [murder of soldier Lee Rigby] has also prompted a huge increase in anti-Muslim incidents, according to the organisation Faith Matters, which works to reduce extremism.
Before the attack about four to eight cases a day were reported to its helpline. But the group said about 150 incidents had been reported in the last few days, including attacks on mosques.
Fiyaz Mughal, director of Faith Matters, told BBC Radio Five Live: 'What's really concerning is the spread of these incidents. They're coming in from right across the country.
'Secondly, some of them are quite aggressive very focused, very aggressive attacks. And thirdly, there also seems to be significant online activity...suggesting co-ordination of incidents and attacks against institutions or places where Muslims congregate.'
Looks to me as if the police are concerned about that "co-ordination of incidents and attacks." Not a frivolous concern.
Hilarious. Cant say bad things about the religion of the "suspects." Love the " suspects" bit, the "alleged" bit. The substitution of common sense, of what is before your eyes with pretty exculpatory language. It is happening here too. Now. We are only a decade or two behind in the cultural suicide that is advanced in The UK and will overtake the last breaths of freedom there in a few years. Too bad. We had created, the two of us, quite a good thing, a thing desired by many who sacraficed much to get there and here. But the multi in multi culti is our undoing. Because they want the new world to be like the old, but free and cleaner. And those incoherently pissed who have the temerity to complain in print are at the top of the news, a greater threat than those who would sloppily and incompletely lop your head off.
Since Britain & Obama seem to be of the same mind about the First Amendment, can we send him over there for a POTUS to be named later??
Since Britain & Obama seem to be of the same mind about the First Amendment, can we send him over there for a POTUS to be named later??
We give them him, they give us the bust of Churchill and a pack of jelly babies.
I'm willing to bet a short investigation would reveal "faith matters" is essentially a muzzie watchdog group.
You don't think such a group might cry wolf at all. It's never been done by muzzie groups before after all.
I say we trade Saint Barry for Prince Harry, straight-up!
The big problem is the PC British Left made a huge exception for hate speech directed against whites and non-Muslim.
IT tolerates sedition and incitement to hatred in radical Muslim mosques, refuses to deport foreign imams and mullahs advocating violence without
"decades long 'due process".
The basis of restrictions on free speech is fine in theory - stop recruitment, radicalization, cultivation of hatred, justification of violence directed at certain members of your society. Especially where in the past, such practices were alowed and the lands ran with blood.
If you are not wedded to an old archaic US Constitution in your own land. It can work.
The Brit, and also the general West European problem, along with Canadas was that such protections were only deemed to be needed for certain "persecuted minority victim groups" as drafted by powerful Leftist and "remember the Holocaust" Jewish lawyers..that then added "persecuted new arriving 3rd Worlders.
The laws stupidly failed to have provisions that would also demand tolerance and suppression of hatred by minorities against the native white Christian populations.
Thus you can have fucking Muslim fanatics organizing around hatred of their host country and calling for muslims to direct violence and hatred against the white natives able to act with impunity...but then the PC idiots will arrest whites that dislike that and say harsh things in response...as the true Haters..
..and in other new in Sweden a sixth night of riots by 'youths' is underway.
I take it, "The only good one is a dead one", wouldn't be tolerated, either.
Surrey, among other things, is home to Runnymede.
And the sound you hear is this gentleman spinning:
If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
You ask, What is our policy? I will say; "It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy." You ask, What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory—victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.
We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and the oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.
Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fall, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.
Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth lasts for a thousand years, men will still say, "This was their finest hour!"
It certainly was.
Thank you, Mr Churchill.
This is a good article on terrorism and also relates to Britain.
"Daniel Pipes on terrorism, the Middle East and the Islamization of the West."
"In fact, I would say Islamism is roughly at its apex. While it seems to have got stronger, the Muslims are fighting each other. In Syria, not only are the Shiite Islamists fighting the Sunni Islamists, but the Sunnis are fighting among themselves. In Egypt, the Salafists are fighting with the Muslim Brotherhood. Everywhere there are divisions, and we (in the West) want to encourage this.
Islamism is a totalitarian movement like fascism and communism. We could learn from the techniques used to fight the fascists and the communists."
"Do you think Islamism is extending its influence in North America? How is this happening, practically speaking?"
"One example is what I call harems in the West. In Britain now, if you come there from a Muslim country with multiple wives, its accepted as legal. In this as in many other areas, sharia is being applied. There are parts of London where you can’t get alcohol. There’s something like 100 sharia courts in Britain, completely private courts that not only do civil law but criminal law. Muslims are told don’t go to the police if you have a problem, but come to the sharia courts, and increasingly Muslims feel pressured to do that. This is outside and, indeed, against the government. This didn’t exist 20 years ago and now it is growing.
In sports, there are demands by Muslim players for their own separate locker rooms. Ramadan has to be observed in schools. School kitchens are made halal without any discussion. Prison rooms are oriented to Mecca in some way. In hospitals, bibles and crucifixes disappear.
According to the French government, there are (several hundred) no-go zones around Paris where police don’t go. There’s also a growing movement toward Muslim-only zones where not only is sharia applied but non-Muslims are not welcome."

Did any of you bother to listen to Obama the other day as he redirected the war on terror? I don't usually like listening to the ass but I thought it would be interesting to see what line of bull he was spinning. According to him, there is no problem with our relationship with Islam, in fact, our main enemy is red-necks. At least, that is the take away that I had. I have known many of the Muslim faction (not religion) and find that they all can be persuaded to violence and their religion condones it. We are in a collision course with these people and we are losing as everyone wants to do the right thing, which is not really the right thing to do.
bow down to the Religion of Peace or you're fucking dead.

===================
Generally, he is right. We have devolved into little better than Muslims in that instead of the excessive reverence of pieces of paper called the Koran and Hadiths and the high religious authority mullahs ordering their lives -
Americans are habituated to reverence of pieces of paper understood as the The Sacred Parchment of the Holy Founders..and how all events and ways America goes is up to the final diktats of our own berobed wise lawyers.
Other countries that work up and revise their operating manuals every 30-50 years see this worship of an archaic operating manual for a nation - as America's way of compensating for not being able to command religiosity be the path - of blindly accepting US worshippers.
Of course, many like the Brits have their own cultural stupidities. The British class system, love of MultKulti, substituting Marxism, making PC their religion...
dreams' point is emphasized by the fact now a French soldier in Paris has been murdered by a North African "immigrant".
I remember when I was about 16 or so, our history teacher, a WWII vet, warned us, if we ever found ourselves in Paris, to avoid the Moslem areas like the plague.
And this was '64 or '65, so things have only gotten worse.
Liberals are pussies.
is this a crime:
This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England
I suggest that Ann starts a post where we post what we think the Brits might like to say if they were permitted to say it. You know, one of the "speaking for those who can't" type things. At times like this a good old "fuck the bloody wogs" might make them feel a whole lot better.
Well at least the British Police are good for something. How many are detailed to watching twitter?
I think Yanks are more upset about this than the the English.
Censorship is accepted over there. Its like a big Madison.
Anyhoo, just give the English a football game and a cuppa of tea and they're happy.
I'm beginning to understand why the Irish wanted out.
On the other hand, the Brits can say fuck on TV.
Cedarford, I reject your analysis. I reject your premises. It is not a fetish, rather, it is a very simple document, a one-pager, and it is the ONLY thing that threads us together and it is a thin thread indeed, beyond the document anything goes, has gone, and will go. Plus your analysis omits that it IS amended as your analysis admires in other countries. But while we're on the documents other countries live by, they can just blow me.
Did I just now say blow me? Sorry, this English is tricky, I mean to say, they're irrelevant.
It's OK for poor misunderstood individuals cut off people's heads, but please don't say anything bad about them.
Virgil Hilts, you equate statutory rape, and an actualized hate crime, to speech violations? Hunt broke the laws of man and nature. She is free to do that with other consenting adults, but she does not enjoy that luxury with a girl incapable of offering consent, irrespective of the nature of the aggressor's orientation. Hunt instigated the physical violation and corruption of a minor.
Please sir, tuppence to black your boots?
Sweep your chimney?

"On the other hand, the Brits can say fuck on TV."
So can we - on cable. Which means 150 out of 160 channels can say "fuck".
Its quite an advance in civilization.
That's why the Brits beat us to it. Saying "fuck" is so civilized. "Cunt" even more so.
The Brits like to say the "C" word too. You can't beat breeding.
@wyosis
You got that right sister. I always make it a point to never threaten anyone I intend to harm in anyway. :-)
*hint: if you do intend bodily harm, leave the cell phone at home*
Lay off the Brits! They're the big dog in Europe...if you're gonna bitch at someone bitch at the Swedes, The swedes are arresting Swedish nationals for patroling the streets that the police won't for fear of Muj rioters. Make the British look down right warlike.
No freedom of speech in Britain, unless you're a Muslim or a "traveller". Pathetic.
Swedish riots: "It's enough. It's enough," cries Jamil Hakim, from a group called Safe Husby. "Two nights was fun. But it's enough. It's not fun any more."
That's what I can't stand about muzzie immigrants -- they can't even agree among themselves how much rioting is enough fun.
Thank you again, Founding Fathers, for our Constitution and the First Amendment!
And our Second Amendment.
Other countries that work up and revise their operating manuals every 30-50 years see this worship of an archaic operating manual for a nation
Well fuck them and the horse they rode in on.
Name one country that has been as successful, and done as much to promote freedom and a higher standard of living world wide, as the United States.
Everything wrong with Britian is contained in that 1 sentence:
"Surrey Police will not tolerate language used in a public place, including on social media websites, which causes harassment, alarm or distress.'"
What a shame they aren't trying to arrest the 50 Woolwich passers-by of whom there is a Youtube video showing them tearing to pieces with their bare hands two black Muslim men who had just killed a British soldier. Small pieces and not especially slowly -- the screams go on for a long time.
How appropriate that the people who instead stood around and wondered when the grown-ups -- oh sorry, the law -- would get there are twittering in protest. That's such an appropriate verb.
Cedarford:
So, you reject traditional wisdom for the sake of it being traditional? That's the same violation of reason that people commit when they reject a religion or philosophy when they resort to judging each by the underlying articles of faith rather than by the principles they engender. It is in the class of reason which judges a man by the color of his skin rather than by the content of his character and actions; or assesses the value of a human life by its age or stage of development.
That said, a philosophy, especially a legal philosophy, is incapable of perfect summary of principles, and does not direct but promotes a certain outcome. The abuses arise when people rationalize and distort a philosophy to realize a preferred outcome. Our national charter, and constitution, are imperfect summaries of some ideal. They provide reasonable, but not comprehensive, guidance to accommodate people who may or may not share the same dream.
There is no legitimate reason to pursue unqualified progress, which is typically progress for its own sake, or progress for the benefit of a select minority. The principles identified in our national charter, and constitution, are suitable for general governance of a people capable of self-moderating, responsible behavior (e.g. moral).
The Brits are surrendering in advance. Britain is Great no more.

A good way to find out would be to call them up to complain about a Christian-bashing incident.
Easier way is just to read about them and their founder.
The Muslims don't seem to have a good ear for public relations. What with that picture of a devout Muslim holding a meat cleaver and expounding on his religious duty to hack British soldiers to death, now is not the ideal time to complain about British intolerance......Just once I'd like to read of some prominent Muslim figure who's more disturbed by murder than hostile Facebook comments.
Cedarford is a fascist. He is probably a Nazi, but he gets upset when you say that out loud.
Keep that in mind, and everything he says fits.
The mother country used to have free speech. Not anymore.
Above all, it is cause for great sadness.
Police will not tolerate the language, but will hide from head choppers. Incredibly brave.
A brilliant analogy by Virgil Hilts. It never occurred to me that the Hunt case is analogous on all fours to the public beheading of an innocent man simply to make a political point.
Virgil's mind is overflowing with amazing insights. It's a wonder he can keep his sanity.
Wow.
The answer to the question "Why do they hate us?" is; They don't hate us, they disdain us.
Freedom is Just Another Word
For Nothing Left to Tweet.
The mother country has something we don't have -- far-right groups with sizable membership that feed on racial hatred and are prone to violence, like the English Defence League.
I wonder how long it took the cops to arrest the Facebook commenters...reportedly it took 30 minutes for the bobbies to show up at the beheading.
Lydia:
Actually, America is full of left-wing fanatics who exploit differentials and gradients, including skin color, gender, and "race", to advance their political, economic, and social standing. Today, they, not so-called "breeders", are the cause of problems arising from overpopulation, including immigration policies which exceed the rate of assimilation.
What's truly sad, is that they moved from a supremacist philosophy to a "diversity" policy because they lost democratic leverage after the initial effort to correct for past human and civil rights abuses. The Republicans, and specifically Conservatives, led that charge, and enjoyed a momentary boost from their adoption of a superior moral position. The left-wing fanatics even normalized premeditated murder in order to purchase women's votes.
Anyway, the problems in Europe stem from left-wing policies designed to benefit an elite minority. This is the same nonsense that other left-wing fanatics promote. The Left in Britain betrayed their country out of spite and in an effort to marginalize their competing interests in order to acquire and exploit democratic leverage for their personal benefit.
When dozens of mosques file the inevitable class-action lawsuit, I hope the Council on Dalek-Human Relations will be kind enough to file an amicus.
Dasn't rile up the heathens.
As usual C-fudd "blames" a slant towards Muslims on joooos, his all-purpose scapegoat. But the reality is C-fudd himself is pro-Muzzie. The fetid little douchebag has gushed over the "heart and courage" of savage Muslim terrorists such as Hezbollah.
The UK is pathetic when it comes to free speech.
Ponces.
Is it a crime to report on inflammatory comments? For instance, the jihadist beheader spouted out anti Brit statements. Is it OK to replicate those statements so the general public can hear them? Is it OK for the general public to see the hate?
This PC stuff makes so little sense to me as a philosophy. It's so full of obvious flaws, and plus which, it isn't making anything better.
Perhaps people in the US should write articles for the Brits that the individual British person link to. Or is that illegal too?

"And our Second Amendment."
Which comes right smack after the First Amendment. Do you think the founders were capable of putting concepts in number order ranked by importance?
Speaking of "anti-Muslim incidents", I was reminded of something I saw repeatedly in the days following 9/11. There is an elaborate upscale mall in Tampa, (think Neiman Marcus and Tiffany's) with parlor, or lounge, areas at the nodes. During that time, a number of couples were seen hanging out in these areas, the women all wearing hijabs. I am sure that they were trolling for an incident, but they were wasting their time. Nothing happened.
Lydia: Looks to me as if the police are concerned about that "co-ordination of incidents and attacks." Not a frivolous concern.
Depends on what the "incidents and attacks" are. Co-ordinating "very focused, very aggressive" tweets? They do have a reputation for over-reacting massively to things that wouldn't even be crimes in a sane nation, and doing fuck-all about serious crimes, all depending on where the perp's racial/religious group fits in the PC hierarchy.
Here's a nice rant from a fed-up Brit on the state of things. (Excerpt: How dare this little pipsqueak [Cameron]...presume to tell a populace what to think when a British soldier is savagely murdered in the street by religious fruitcakes?)
Lydia: The mother country has something we don't have -- far-right groups with sizable membership that feed on racial hatred and are prone to violence, like the English Defence League.
Says Lydia portentously.
Lol, I'm sure the Independent is the last word on the subject.
Anybody a nanometer to the right of Guardian received wisdom is "far right" or "extreme far right", and, of course, "racist", in most of the MSM in the UK and Europe. (Hey, kinda like here.)
Lydia:
Maybe you have cause and effect backwards. Instead of what you imply: that the presence of too many extremists provides a justification for no free speech...
How about when you have a political system that denies free speech, one result will be encouraging and exacerbating extremism?
In any case, it's darkly amusing to consider how often Europeans disdain the U.S. as filled with extremist dolts, yet we don't have to repeal free speech to deal with replacements for the dictators we elected two generations ago.
What I want to know is, who will get out of jail first: The "Allahu Akbar"-shouting, machete-swinging miscreants, or the offensive tweet posters?
The current government really, really wants to make the UKIP a first-rank party, doesn't it?
Cedarford has the same amount of respect for our Constitution as Obama.
Free speech isn't free.
We need to constantly be on guard against the politically correct who would limit or destroy our rights.
The reason why we dumped these Brits is never more evident then when you see a story like this.
So, since radical Islamic preaching causes me alarm and distress I am counting on the constabulary there in Woolwich to suppress all preaching at mosques.
Should I hold my breath?

Good thing. Looks like they're going to need them.
I'm not sure many of you laughing at my posts read the full Daily Mail article Althouse linked to. If you had, you've have noted that it was just the guy in Surrey who said "no free speech for you".
A more accurate example of what the police there are doing was given by the police in Lincolnshire:
[The murderer's] court appearance came within 24 hours of Lincolnshire Police warning users of social networking sites such as Facebook that they face arrest if posts were likely to incite racial hatred or violence.
A force spokesman said 'We have received a number of reports from local members of the public about tweets and Facebook comments that could potentially incite racial hatred and violence.
'These are currently being investigated. If such communications are reported to us and they do breach the law, those messages may be monitored; captured and robust police action will be considered.
'We would urge people to consider the very real impact of their online comments in relation to this matter.'
The guy's asking for common sense to be used in a very tense situation. And did you catch that "breach the law"?
And, Jerome, if you really think the very many neo-fascistic groups in Europe are a joke, you're a fool.
Death to Wahabbi Islamists! Take that fuck stick PC idiots!
I dunno, Lydia. As Professor Reynolds pointed out, "If the responsible authorities fail to act, other forms of authority will assert themselves. They may not act responsibly, but they will act."
The police in Britain have demonstrated for years where their priorities are, and eventually people have gotten fed up.
Lydia says,
"And, Jerome, if you really think the very many neo-fascistic groups in Europe are a joke, you're a fool."
Lydia, if you think the Muslims will stop murdering kafirs if we just treat them with sufficient solicitude, you are mistaken. I will give you the benefit of the doubt as to whether that is because you lack mental acuity, or you are just not paying attention.
By the way, not all nationalists are fascists. It suits the left to pretend they are, because the left wishes to destroy everything that stands in their way. That includes national identity and culture, racial identity, religion and the family. The left demands that all loyalty be given to the State.
Oh, and that "break the law" thing? Recall Oliver Twist: “If the law supposes that,” said Mr. Bumble,… “the law is a ass—a idiot. If that’s the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is that his eye may be opened by experience—by experience."
"The left demands that all loyalty be given to the State."
Hey, that sounds a lot like fascism.
'"The left demands that all loyalty be given to the State."
Hey, that sounds a lot like fascism.'
Yes, Fascism was a form of Socialism. NAZI comes from "National Socialism" in German, and Mussolini was originally a Socialist. Jonah Goldberg covered this connection, and the relations between European Fascism and American Progressivism, in his book Liberal Fascism.
Did anyone else expect anything else like this happen? It's like Islam got a raise and a promotion after the beheading in the middle of a street.
Lydia is your last name Chamberlain?
Lydia: I'm not sure many of you laughing at my posts read the full Daily Mail article Althouse linked to.
Yes, we did, Lydia. And some of us have read and seen a good deal more, and not just about this recent murder. (And yes, linking to the Independent as a reliable source on "far right" groups in Europe is a joke.)
The guy's asking for common sense to be used in a very tense situation.
And whose fault is it that this "very tense situation" exists? The same people who have spent the last decade screeching "racist" and STFU at anybody who made a peep against the ongoing multi-cult insanities, and who, after letting these lunacies metastasize into beheadings on English streets, are now cracking down on....hate tweets. Sure, Lydia, anybody who's fed up must be a "neo-fascist".
And, Jerome, if you really think the very many neo-fascistic groups in Europe are a joke, you're a fool.
Oh, what's going on in Europe is certainly not a joke, Lydia. The ugly joke is that any group that organizes in the interests of the natives is villified as "far right" or "fascist", while jihadis and their stupid antifa thug allies get treated with kid gloves, and Muslim criminals get a pass because authorities are terrified of being accused of racism. But nobody is ever supposed to react to any of this. I think you're a little confused about cause and effect re the existence of groups like the EDL.
They're not afraid of being called racists, Anglelyne. They just don't want their employees beheaded and their offices blown up. And who could blame them for being vile poltroons under those circumstances?
this is cowardice and NIMBYism
UK sounds like France:let in all of these people/refugees but never really accepted them; instead segregated them economically and socially (and give them benefits as a segregationist payoff) so they became hives of extremism. But because of the native idea of "kindness" and PC (no guns, no death penalty, etc), the
population becomes a target for the powerseeking, attention seeking extremists.
The polticians won't do anything, because as long as they are protected by security systems and their guards, they don't see it as a problem. And the extremists know it - mess with one of the big boys kiss the welfare goodbye (if not be ousted out of the UK altogether)
But I'm afraid that will happen soon. The British are human; they will not take it anymore and you will truly see more race riots and possibly repatriation (though it will take depression-like circumstances to get to that point)
