Love #3

1. The easier a guitar part sounds, the harder it is to play. The audience expects perfection in the seemingly easy parts — which are often clean and exposed. But they'll overlook flubs in the seemingly hard parts — which are usually blurred with distortion.

Case in point - Lennon & McCartney's "Bad to Me" made famous by Bill J Kramer & The Dakotas.

Just went through the lead riff to Bad to Me. Stupidly simple and I flubbed it 5 times out of 10. I've been playing that riff since the monemt I heard it 50 years ago...

Good stuff over there.

I found that in making music, there are no easy parts, but it seems that a lot of other people don't have that problem. I think they call it talent, and that seems to have been handed out very unfairly. Hey, I'm a victim after all!

We need a law to force the talented to play out of tune to level the paying field. I'm sure they would just find a way make out-of-tune sound good, but then we can whack that mole when it rises.
