Theron link not working.
It's remarkable those breasts are not more veiny given the thin skins that cover them.
You wouldn't mind, but watch the black dude sitting next to Watts use the opportunity to check out her boobs.
Dana Stevens thinks that Hollywood old-timers Shirley Bassey and Babs Striesand getting to sing at last night's circle jerk symbolizes "the ascendant power of women". Um, OK. People will see what they want to see, I guess.
IT WAS PREFILMED! THEY WERE IN ON THE JOKE!
Charlize Theron came to the Oscars in her white dress on the red carpet.
She was wearing the white dress on her dance number in the opening.
She was wearing the same white dress when she presented hours later with Dustin Hoffman.
In the "I saw your . . . " segment, she was weariing a BLACK HALTER Dress.
C,MON PEOPLE!!!!!
GEEEEEEZZZZZZ!!!!
But of course that is not Naomi Watts actual reaction. She was wearing a different gown!
One of the issues I had with the show last night was I would have liked to see more actual reactions to some of McFarlane's comments/jokes. I'm guessing they opted not to show certain people looking pissed off ...
Don't wanna be known for 'em, don't show 'em.
That host was a dick, though.
Don't wanna be known for 'em, don't show 'em.
Didn't work for Dolly Parton. Though she's in an entirely different class.
"Theron link not working."
Fixed.
Sorry.
The girl behind Ms Theron doesn't look happy, either.

There were a lot of women like that before 1970. They didn't show 'em, but they sure were known for 'em.
"Ice-cold daggers hurled directly from the eyeballs" is very apt.
But what about that lady behind her, with the "pole-axed into stunned immobility" look?
A few of the lines from that song were pretty funny...
"Scarlett Johansson we saw them on our phones...
...and Kate Winslet in Heavenly Creatures and Jude. And Hamlet. And Titanic. And Iris. And Little Children. And The Reader. And whatever you're shooting right now."
Sometimes I wonder if there is a script change after the movie is started and the actress is mostly powerless to refuse to show 'em. Alot of times bare boobs do not add anything to the movie, and it seems kinda stupid for a serious actress to do.
"Here they are ... Jayne Mansfield!"
Obligatory Reference #73
Naomi Watts' beauty and feminine charm is overcoming any commentary I may have.
"No, sweetheart, it was a crude, childish song sung by an odious little man"
Oh the humanity! Fake people upset when they are humiliated for their actions. And the person who made the jokes lowered himself and the rest of us too. Hollywood is a giant worthless joke. But they are just doing it for the children! How pathetic is our popular culture...

Two words: Mullholand. Drive.
Blue faggot Seth MAcFarlane v. priggish hypocritical left-wing moronic cunts.
Blue-on-blue.
Pass the popcorn. May Al Queda blow them all to smithereens.
I don't get why people find Seth funny. He's the comedy equivalent of a semi-talented cover band.
Good thing someone people like pulled that stunt, or I'd have to suffer for days listening to journalists drone on about the reinforcement of rape culture.
Oddly enough, right there at the link...
"These appeared to be staged reactions meant to jokingly dramatize MacFarlane’s inevitable failure as an Oscar host, but the actresses’ mortified faces, put-on or not"
So..."staged reactions". OMG--they're actresses??!?!?!?!?!?!?!
What's the point of the post?
Man there are some whiny bitches out there.
Or, since we have the blessing of the Professor who finds it hilarious, I guess I can say there are some whiny cunts in the media.
Seth MacFarlane opened tonight's Oscars telecast with a song about the majesty of cinema that celebrated all different kinds of accomplishments while righteously skewering the hubris of the whole endeavor. Just kidding! He sang a song called "We Saw Your Boobs," all about which actresses' bare breasts have been in movies. This is your Snow White number, Seth. (As a fun game, count how many actresses he mentions in this song who are portraying rape victims.) Ha, ha, ha, ha, breasts — it's not like women in film do other things, right?

Which one is Theron?
Embarrassing because I think I actually saw her once getting into a limo in NY. My impression was that she was really little and thin. She looked ... 12?
They were in on the joke as evidenced that their reactions were pre filmed.
Althouse:"Me, I'm not watching. I just completely do not care. I used to care, but I don't anymore."
And the next day we get three posts about the Oscars! Go figure? You say you don't care, but you care. Actions speak louder and etc.
Unknown, Titus, and others elsewhere got it right: This was all ado about nothing. The entire skit was a joke about Macfarlane being an awful presenter, and the reaction shots were canned ones. They weren't genuine; they were contributing to the entire "OMG, Seth did what??" element of the skit.
Even the first Slate articles didn't notice this. And that's just mind blowing. How could they not tell? Did they simply ignore everything Shatner's Kirk was saying on the screen?
Channeling Jennifer Lawrence to all the internet folks who didn't get it: "Hey idiots, it's a joke!"
It sort of flabbergasts me to have to explain this, because I hated the skit. It felt forced, and that's before it went completely off the rails into a "boobs" dive that even Denzel Washington wearing a pilot's suit couldn't pull out of. Yet, I understood what the point was, even while loathing it. I don't get why there are people out there who think the reaction shots were genuine. Especially given that one of them was Charlize Theron, and she participated in the dance number on stage.
That part of the Oscars was great. I don't remember who it was because I don't really follow Hollywood, but cthe ameras also focused one of the other women mentioned in the song and she gave her smile of hate while the guy next to her checked out her boobs-it was hilarious! Geez, these actresses should have realized that once you put it out there it is fair game.
The woman visible in the row behind Theron has a stare reminiscent of the audience's reaction to the "Springtime for Hitler" musical number in The Producers (the original movie with Mostel). Classic!
I don't get why there are people out there who think the reaction shots were genuine.
I didn't watch, so the gifs were all I saw.
I retract my thin skin comment, unless the boobs are veiny.
Oh how that was delicious to see. The WTF? face of Naomi Watts and the Oh-no-you-Di'int face of Charlize Theron. Awesome^infinity!!!
