I think that we should have a straight way to go in our similar, or ... in our lives. For example, I am a surfer and I think that the best wave that I can take is the wave that I wait for it.But still... I see the sense in it: Libertarian!

"I think that any (laws) there are in Constitution or in life, are already made."
Hey, come on. That's kind of a great answer. Now, it gets a bit odd after that:

What I heard in her words was... ‘We are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights among these are life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.’
The freaking cornerstone of the American System.
Maybe if she had thrown in “this day and age”… she would have passed mustard?
All these beautiful women from around the world answer these semi-philosophical questions in English? That's impressive in itself.
Passing mustard sounds extremely unpleasant.
I think I would prefer a little more security in my property, and I will see to my happiness myself!

Why, yes it does. Passing anything can be painful, and can get you a reprimand.
I think what she said with her surfer example, was to do things deliberately. Not do too much too soon and certainly not in haste.
Her dress was gorgeous -- I love that green.
Sorry, but I'm too upset to continue commenting.
This is a touchy subject with me... because when I wanted to bravely express opinions and I didn’t use the words that were expected, it was used against me… against me in the sense that I would be shuned in conversation… I would not be given the chance to speak.
I don’t know if people realize it when they do that?
Anyways… I’m going off on a whole different animal.
What does a beauty pageant have to do with didactic? expression anyway?
Libertarian? Individual? non-collective?
Freedom?
Off with her head. Guards, seize her!
She can be our Sandra Fluck. Somebody tell Roger Ailes to sign her up.
"This day and age" ware the words used by Ann Hathaway lamenting what happens when a celebrity flashes her private.
Well, it wouldn't really be fair if she was smart too, would it.
were the words used? Hathaway used the words...
My spelling worsens as my aggravation increases.
I'll admit to a very strong attraction to hot latinas who speak English, however awkwardly. Its a natural thing. I actually think she made good sense.

We have to get our kicks any which way we can.
I'll admit to a very strong attraction to hot latinas who speak English,
How about wise latina judges who write great decisions?
How about wise latina judges who write great decisions?
Note the first qualifier is "hot" and I don't get very generous with that.
She can ride my "wave" ANY time...lol
PS: Unrepentent Sexist Pig that I am..
Whatever she said, I agree completely.
I think she sounds like Palin, but for a different reason.
When answering a question, both seem to feel the need to replace the silence with balanced phrases and rhythms because of the attention focused on them.
Palin does that when she doesn't have a strong grasp on exactly where she wants her thoughts to go.
This woman seemed to have good grasp on where she wanted to go but just didn't know how to get there because the language barrier.
DAMN.
Wait for it, the wave,
Then ride it until
It carries you over --
Crossing the bar.
Hey Alfred, you magnificent bastard, I read your poem!
Those hips! All is forgiven.
I've watched a lot of beauty pageants in my lifetime, but never have I heard a question that ruffled my feathers any more than the one posed to Miss Venezuela by actor, singer, Diego Boneta.
"If you could make a new law, what would it be and why?"
This question told me all I needed to know about the world's new trajectory. More LAWS to bring about world peace and to end world poverty!
Diego Boneta was the idiot, not Miss Venezuela. Which is why I jumped on the back of her surfboard and rode the waves right out of there with her!
Her statement makes perfect sense if you suppose that she interpreted "law" to mean "rule of behavior".
It's hard enough to answer stupid questions like those in an "appropriate" way even if you're a native speaker of English.
I had to watch the vid a dozen times to finally pay attention to what she was saying. Time well spent, btw.
Wait for it, the wave,
Then ride far
Until it carries you over --
Crossing the bar.
DAMN
Yes even garage knows that liberals are sunk once enough people understand that we are endowed with inalienable rights rather then them being granted to us by our overlords in the government.

There is a surfing competition at Huntington Beach this weekend............. I'm sorry. What was the question?
She's talking about Natural Law. Tom and Jim (Paine and Madison) would have understood.
And gotten her number.
From Venezuela? The socialist dictator who keeps passing laws to take away stuff from people? Pretty brave. Perhaps she is waiting for the end of the Chavez wave to crash on the shore, and get a better one to ride.
Well, she was more articulate than Romney.
"None" might be the best answer; but then the clip would be too short.
What she meant was this - When you're in the line up out past the breaking waves you are constantly scanning the incoming lines and peaks. You are waiting for the wave that you want. Some are to big, some to small, some are not breaking the right way. Some close out (break all at once). When youy see the wave you want you trurn and paddle for as hard as you can for it. positioning yourself correctly and catching the wave without "wiping out" is the hardest and scariest part of surfing. taking the drop as it were. but when you make that drop, turn into and up the face of the wave, your board chattering along at a high rate of speed and your looking down the line waithing for the curl to overtake you and race behind the waterfall well...it sets you up amazingly for life. As an aside - surfboard and airplanes/gliders are the only two things on planet earth that share the following values: pitch, roll and yaw.
She's better at being gorgeous than the judges are at being smart....Her answer had a kind of zen quality to it. Truth is beauty. If you study the words of a beautiful woman you will eventually stumble upon a great truth.
