"I don’t want something that’s like small. I just want something big.... Something very big."

"Very very very very big, that will shake the whole country, that will make America, not one step ahead, change of policy, and make one step ahead, for the Muslims ... that will make us one step closer to run the whole world."

Things are all book-entry these days, with off-site backups, so it's hard to see the impact.

He's gonna get something very big, alright. Hows life with no parole? Don't mess with the money..

No problem. Just another case of workplace violence, like Fort Hood.

Aside from the word "Muslims", that entire post could be a quote of Bernanke in a rare moment of candor at a Fed meeting.

Are we sure this guy is not tied to Ron Paul ;)

I suspect that one day one of these may succeed. I doubt very much though that it would halt a nationwide election.

Gee, and a young Kenyan on a mission to destroy America is about to get re-elected to the POTUS.

Cavuto had a little piece today on the economic consequences if this cutthroat had succeeded. If he'd shut it down for a week, a Depression - no hemming or hawing. I was, when I first heard about it, skeptical.

Now, I'm not so sure.

YMMV, on that score, but, for anyone that's see the third of the "Die Hard" movies, you get a feel for what this guy was trying to do and the enormity of a possible impact.

Be better if people like him were not admitted to the country in the 1st place.
Why import a domestic terror problem??

Classic jihadist.

That anti-jihad sign didn't even make him do this. Ha.

No doubt his bombing plans were inspired by an anti-Muslim video on Youtube, or a cartoon, or something.

Had to be something we did.

The deranged left insists it must be so.

It seems like most terrorists these days are working with an undercover FBI dude. That's good. Very good.

JAL म्हणाले...

So my concern is the guy like this that we miss.

Are we just lucky that he connects with an undercover agent?

Or do we have some American Muslims who are doing the right things and reporting these guys ...?

they've had this jackass in their back-pocket ready to be pulled out when needed. with benghazi blowing up in obama's face (especially after the debate debacle) this story gives the administration's surrogates reason to hit the talk shows and tout obama's ever-vigilant focus on terror.

This has to be a Romney plant. Our president tells us that Al-Qaeda is on its heels since OBL is dead and GM is alive. Move on.

Waiting for someone in the administration to blame this one on that video...

The correct answer, which you are not allowed to say in polite company.

"People like him" - What that mean kemosabe?

Is anyone troubled by the idea that this "attack" would never have taken place unless the FBI had talked him into it and provided (fake) materials?

We see more and more of this and it smells like entrapment to me.

I understand that there is a fine line between legal entrapment and what the Feds are doing. One is OK, the other is not.

Which side of the line are the feds on?

On second thought, change the wording to "Might never have taken place..."

I do think we need to be watching these guys and nabbing them as soon as they make the first overt move. I am very troubled by what I see as possible entrapment.
