"Sarah Palin and her family sneaked out in Washington on Sunday night for what she called an 'incognito' tour of the national monuments..."

Reports the NYT:
Details of the visit were posted Monday morning on her Web site, along with pictures that show her, her husband, Todd, and her daughters enjoying stops at the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial and the World War II Memorial.

In one picture, Ms. Palin and Mr. Palin are sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, looking out toward the Washington Monument, like any other couple might. In another, the whole family is seen standing below a part of the World War II Memorial that says “Alaska,” their home state.
Beautiful, innovative unrolling of what is presumably her candidacy for President.

Sarah, she's just like you, visiting the monuments, posing by the name of her state, wearing a visor and a baggy black T-shirt. I love the way she's slouching as if she's not thinking about her looks at all, while the other women are doing the photo-pose-y thing and the husband takes the figure-flattering 3/4 position and sucks in his gut.

The cops ejected a flashmob at the Jefferson Memorial and cuffed the leader. I wonder if it was because Palin was supposed to show up.

So they didn't go at night? That's the best time to tour the monuments! Also heh at Todd doing the 3/4 gut suck thing. I love Todd.

Palin's outfit is really casual.

And of course she had been a Democrat the family would have "slipped away" instead of the past tense of the much more negative "sneak."

BTW, when did the past tense of sneak change from "snuck"?

FWIW I think she's making a bid for the Reagan Democrats, and I think she's going to get them.

What the author of that piece, MICHAEL D. SHEAR, does not realize is that Sarah is one of us, and he is not. (Author's name is in all capitals in his by-line.)

Again, the use of "Ms." This is insulting. Why should Mrs. Palin talk to a reporter or a newspaper which insists on insulting her? Does Michael D. Shear realize that he and his newspaper are being played? They are giving her free articles promoting her. The haters won't change their minds, but others will read the message being sent. Sarah is one of us.

As for the snide Althouse comment about Todd "sucking in his gut", he is a man, and that is his right. Back off.

And to promote a movie. I didn't know there was a movie.

In recent days, she and her husband, Todd Palin, purchased a $1.7 million house in Scottsdale, Ariz., giving her a base of operation in the lower 48 states. She also rehired two logistics aides she had dismissed, a Palin aide said Wednesday.
In addition, a full-length feature film focused largely on her time as governor is in the final stages of editing by conservative filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon.

She just bought a $1.7 million dollar house, and she's looking to drop her career and run for President? No.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Let's see ... the fact that she is so casual about her appearance in photographs ... does that also mean she is casual about her grooming practices? Could well be. After all, when she goes off on these caribou hunts, she probably doesn't pack along her Lady Gillette.

Lucius म्हणाले...

I'm on the fence whether to call this the beginning of the Presidential run, or a well-timed blitz to become sitting "Reagan-in-waiting" and kingmaker of the GOP.

If the latter, the logic is: do a mega-Colin Powell '96 play that makes people really *think* you're gonna do it. It raises the stakes, and the 'price' she commands for staying out. The primary contenders have to contend for her approval. The larger public is kept guessing. She gets to remain elusive, a 'what if?' that grows in magnitude over time. Holding out the idea that she *could*--someday-- actually run becomes its own kind of momentum; it confers an 'elder statesman' quality on her. In essence, it becomes almost a kind of office she's holding, a kind of resume-padder. If she's a kingmaker for 2012, that's another notch on her belt, like "CIA Director 1976-77."

Then she can feint into the Arizona Senate race. Or she can bargain for a Cabinet seat. Or-- like Reagan '76, she's a 'why didn't we . . .' of sorts, even without running.

Of course: if she runs, loses the nom, she *is* Reagan '76 if the GOP loses; still a player if the GOP wins. If she runs, wins: haha, she's Prez.

The dismal scenario is, get nom, lose. Almost impossible for a Nixon-like comeback after that. At most, she becomes a Bryant-like standard-bearer for center-right populism, but one almost certainly doomed to be barred from nominations or some chestnut like the SecState. Maybe another Goldwater in the Senate, though? But-- and I'm not saying this to be cynical-- I don't think a "Conscience of a Conservative" is going to be trophy enough to console her. She wants some kind of feifdom.

I seriously doubt that she's spending her time with furrowed brow... like you... worrying this thing to death.

What drives the elitist snobs crazy is the Palin represents the unwashed masses in the flyover states who see nothing wrong with having fun and being proud of what they are.

We recently met the Ride For The Wall crew as they gassed up in Marana, AZ. It was informative to study who did the honking and waving as close to a hundred motorcyles and support vehicles exited I-10 for gas. Truck drivers honked long and loud. Local families waved and stopped to give thanks and one car load of folks on vacation stopped to ask what was going on? I told her that Viet Nam Veterans had returned from war and had not been treated well by our country. Each year we veterans and other patriots provide our own recognition on a trip to the "Healing Wall". Just at that moment, two Apache helicopters flew over the gas station, circled, tipped their rotors and flew back to Phoenix.

The children understood and it gave their parents a moment to reflect. The Palin family understands us and that is why the media hate her.

That's part of it. There's another part, and that is that she holds to her convictions. It would have been easy to abort a Down's child, and to help her unwed daughter abort, and it would have made life easier for her family and more comfortable as a politician. But she believes that abortion is wrong and so both pregnancies went to term. That, as much as anything else, is what frightens the liberal press.

Todd is part Indian (American). Indian women can, like Tahitian women, be a bit thick through the trunk.

Just as Sir Richard Burton noticed that black African women tended to be "steatopygous, with haunches of prodigious size".

Latinas seem to be more hourglass, Nordic women more top-heavy.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I suspect that you are viewing these events as someone who doesn't want Palin to run.

Those who want her to run are positively giddy about these indications that she will run, and I think they will be sorely disappointed if she doesn't follow through as they imagine she will.

Lucius म्हणाले...

@Shouting Thomas: Oh, my brow isn't too furrowed here. I can be happy with most anything that results in a palace takeover (by which I do mean, peaceful transition from the ballot box) in 2012.

If anything: I'm trying to curb *some* of the hyperventilation that suggests Palin will simply, inevitably win because she's mystically in tune with 'the people.'

Yes, she does have a genuine, strong connection with large swaths of the masses. Yes, she can be a fantastic projector for the vox populi.

But politics does require calculation too. And the Presidency requires statesmanship, a quality no more guaranteed to the morally purging charismatic leaders of the center-right than of the center-left (Carter and Obama).

I think it'd be easy for a President Palin to do better than those two by sheer force of a) better convictions and b) greater decisiveness of character.

Unfortunately a lot of this RINO-baiting from some quarters seems to suggest everything besides Jacksonian moral leadership can be delegated to the Cabinet flunkies. How is the left-wing version of that working out?

I think Palin was a strong governor, strong campaigner, and a great media personality. None of this quite tells me, though, how she would play chess against Brezhnev.

But I surely don’t think “Independents” (If they truly are Independents) are going to flock to the Obama banner IF:

Just because Palin announced a public bus tour doesn't mean that she MUST have media coverage 24-7. Coverage for the public part of the tour.... sure, why not. After all that is the point of the tour, to highlight the organizations and places that promote America and have historical significance.

However, the family deserves some down time and privacy and the ability to be alone, like normal people. Just like movie stars who also deserve to be left alone to have personal time.

You probably think that because she is doing this tour, they should be covering her when she is taking a dump, brushing her teeth or shopping for groceries.

And during the midterms she supported some candidates who did not do very well and that makes me wonder if she has the kind of appeal it takes to win a general election.. She also supported Rand Paul in Ky..and he turned around and voted with the Democrats and Olympia Snowe on the Ryan bill. She is not responsible for all his votes, obviously..but then again that just points out that libertarians are not conservatives.

So, if I am a fucking poser...then you are a nasty little man who likes to say things to people on the internet that he would not have the balls to say face to face.

Until Palin says she is running for President, I am assuming she is doing what she says she is doing, which is to tour "
historical sites that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America."

While I think that a Palin run for President would have more vitality than a Romney or Gingrich or Guliani (white bread cream cheese candidates) and may even galvanize the base.... right now, I more see her as a "rain maker".

I would love to see a Palin candidacy if nothing else because it would make the libs heads spin faster than Linda Blair's did in the Exorcist. More important than that we MUST get Obama out of office, no matter who it takes. Palin would be good, but then there are others that Palin may throw her support behind. (cough/christy)

Palin has shown the ability to control the dialogue in new an innovative ways and to bring the debate into focus. Brass tacks if you will.

Perhaps this is what this tour is about. Making us and making the prospective GOP boring, ultra safe, cucumber sandwich candidates focus on standing up for issues instead of weaseling their way through the system.

Make them get some brass balls for a change. Maybe Sarah can lend them hers.

Over the last couple of years it seems to me that Palin spends a lot of time promoting herself and that seems kind of odd for someone who claims they want anonymity.

jesus, you're tripping. She's a politician. Of course, she wants media attention. But she's also a normal human being with a family - she has a right to her life.

I find this same thing in the cult world: you layer your views on top of people and insist that's what they are. We think she's "perfect" - because you say so. We're "followers" - because you say so. I'll ask again:

Where were you in 2007-8 and what do you say about all the other examples of cult infiltration in society?

if the answers are you didn't say shit in 2007-8 and you have no comment on the rest, then shut the fuck up.

What the author of that piece, MICHAEL D. SHEAR, does not realize is that Sarah is one of us, and he is not.

Who the hell is "us". I think the "us" you are referring to are angry, rural and suburban working and lower middle class white folks (and a few self-loathing black folks like Crack) who for some reason have turned away from the unions--the one movement that brought them real power in this country in the twentieth century--and now have a huge chip on their shoulder.

No matter what you believe you make up a minority of the electorate, 20% at best. And since everybody except that 20% knows that Sarah Palin is a dangerous idiot (unfortunately, that minority is a much bigger proportion of the state of Alaska), she doesn't have a chance in hell of becoming president. She may indeed win the nomination, because her fans are especially rabid and Republican primaries, especially with the lackluster field we are looking at, tend to bring out the crazies. But if she does, she is looking at a loss of McGovern proportions.

So to re-cap so far …Palin is a loser:
1) Because she can’t win;
2) Because she self-promotes
3) Is making money.
Now in all of this I have yet to hear anyone say, “I disagree with her policy on Libya” (Arguably she’s lucky she WASN’T POTUS when she made her call)…”I disagree with, ‘Drill Here, Drill now, Baby’” (Why you would is beyond me, but mayhap youse guyz like Bio-Fuels), “I disagree with her support for the Ryan Budget and Ryan’s Roadmap to Prosperity” (Again why you would puzzles me, but some will say it doesn’t do enough [McCullough/PB&J the Moby] or that it does TOO MUCH, government spending is supporting what little economic growth there is, and to reduce it now guarantees a ‘Double Dip Recession.’”

See there ARE policy disagreements to be had with Palin and I the Jewish “Cultist” can list them, but SO FAR, those aren’t under discussion. Which suggests to me, that the opposition to Palin is VISCERAL…not cerebral.

Now in all of this I have yet to hear anyone say, “I disagree with her policy on Libya” . . .

Win it means Qaddafi goes and America gets to get on out of there and let the people of Libya create their own government, choose their own leader. And America, no nation building. We get out. We take care of our affairs elsewhere."

As for "drill, baby, drill", that is utterly simplistic and, frankly, stupid. Even if we extracted every available drop of oil that we have in the U.S. it would not significantly affect global oil prices. It would at best boost global supplies by a couple percent and would merely mean more pollution and delaying the inevitable conversion to some other source of energy (we will eventually run out of oil).

As for Ryan's budget plan and roadmap to prosperity, it is an illusion. It doesn't lower the deficit. Lower taxes (than current tax rates) do not lead to increased revenue. Higher taxes do not necessarily inhibit economic growth. Saying otherwise is simply lying and there is historical data to back it up (e.g., economic growth was higher after the Clinton tax hikes than after either of the Bush cuts).

I loved Sarah Palin when she first came on the scene. I thought the media was awful in the way they treated her. However, after she quit her job as Governor I began to have some doubts about her. I understand why she quit..she probably did the best thing for her family...but as time went on and I saw the reality TV show and all the book tours and all that I just began to get an uncomfortable feeling about her.

Now, if you don't like that, too bad. But you know what? With friends like you Sarah Palin does not need enemies.

Fine. Have that argument. But the kneejerk reaction to non-Palinistas as pod people who are not One Of Us needs to be amended.

Palin's a terrific governor and campaigner, but she can't incarnate the whole country. I think some of us (and I confess to this) see her as Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People. Which means there's some Man Trouble that lifts her numbers too. A bit of idealization.

Yeah because hey Supply and Demand are MYTHS…and increasing the availability of oil and oil products, would NEVER affect the global cost of oil…geeez, and SHE’S incoherent? And let’s unpack just a bit…more oil, is BAD anyway in Freder-Land because it leads to POLLUTION, so even IF it did reduce price it wouldn’t be good, right? And we need to transition to an ALTERNATIVE, care to provide one…coal-fired CARS, Wind, Solar? Should we transition to something more expensive and make ourselves poorer, all in the name of “sustainable green jobs?”

As for Ryan's budget plan and roadmap to prosperity, it is an illusion. It doesn't lower the deficit. Lower taxes (than current tax rates) do not lead to increased revenue. Does one want to start scolding people like some Trotskyite, 'you must not love ice cream at all! Oh, you must *hate* ice cream!' Jesus, some people may actually wait for her foreign policy speech, you know? Other conservatives *have* existed besides Sarah Palin, wonderful as she is.

Is it inconceivable that, say, John Thune could get sworn in Jan 2012 and turn out to be the greatest President since Lincoln?

This 'only one person conceivable now to free us from our troubles' gets a bit messianic. I'm enjoying Palin's 'campaign', whether it's for the White House or just to highlight conservative issues. But this 'the One' factor is a mirror of Obama's rise. It's not the Burkean way to feel.

The Crack Emcee म्हणाले...

Paul,

Crack, you can disagree with Terreye but she doesn't deserve the over the top insults.

Fuck you, too. If you can't acknowledge that she called me a cultist - and that was the original insult - then what are you doing, now, but being part of the problem? Take that silly bitch back to Roger Simon's blog and leave me the fuck alone.

Regarding Freeman, I don't purport to know her motives, but her take on Palin seems out of character somehow, so my speculation that maybe female jealousy might play a role is as good a conjecture as any. You yourself were puzzled by her position.

Sure, puzzled, but - and this is the point of this whole conflict - I didn't decide I knew Freeman's motives. I didn't even speculate. If I wanted to know, do you know what I would do?

I'D ASK HER!!!

But you and your girlfriend, Terrye, are too stupid for that. You know what we think already - so you insult us, by telling us what we are, and then trying to pin the blame on us for not going along - which was the whole point of the post I just wrote about on my blog. Wrote about, I should add, as what cultists do.

Back in the day Roger Simon had one of the best blogs with the best commenters. Who the fuck cares what kind of hat he wears. That kind of criticism makes you look petty and out of control. In fact your performance today pretty much in it's entirety makes you look petty and out of control.

He looked like a damned fool in that thing - and I'm supposed to respect him? He took a pretty good black conservative commentator - Zo - and turned him into a fucking milquetoast. And I'm supposed to respect him? In my opinion, Roger L. Simon has a knack for taking any vestige of the new conservatism and turning it into something useless. At least on the latest POLIWOOD's he's stop wearing that damned hat, so he might be learning how to attract people outside of his circle of sycophants.

Petty and uncontrolled? You ain't seen shit:

Terrye: you're right Sarah Palin isn't like us. She saw things that were wrong and dragged her sorry ass off the sofa and did something about it. Unlike John F. Kerry or Barack Hussein Obama, she didn't grow up hoping to become President of some country. John McCain plucked her from obscurity and she has responded to the call. We should all answer duty's call so resolutely.

As for Rose Kennedy, evidence exists that she was far from retarded, more like "learning disabled". But in the highly competitive atmosphere of the Kennedy family, she was a loser. The lobotomy has her father's idea as a way to control her, and keep her from embarrassing her "shit-don't-stink" brothers. Piss on those brothers. So yes, they did get rid of her. Not as quick as a narrow bridge in the dark, but it worked.

Those highly competitive Kennedys lost a family member one New Years Eve. The tradition had been for them to take the last run down the mountain with a football, and to toss it back and forth on the way down. They had been told not to by the ski patrol, and did it anyway. The tree won. Which Kennedy was it who insisted on flying across Long Island Sound with bad weather and a foot in a cast? What an arrogant bunch of asses you choose to use a role models for the rest of us. Exactly why wasn't John Kennedy court-martialed for the loss of his ship? Isn't that standard operating procedure when any U.S. Naval vessel is lost?

Who the hell is "us". I think the "us" you are referring to are angry, rural and suburban working and lower middle class white folks (and a few self-loathing black folks like Crack) who for some reason have turned away from the unions--the one movement that brought them real power in this country in the twentieth century--and now have a huge chip on their shoulder.

Funny thing about the unions and black folks. Trade and manufacturing unions were notoriously segregated. Wasn't the Davis-Bacon Act about prevailing wages specifically designed as a racist act to prevent contractors from using Black workers from the South? Unions love that one. Now that more union employees are in the public sector than the private sector, and the public sector has done far more affirmative action hiring than the private sector, now Blacks are more involved in the union movement.

Back off of Crack there! He is welcome at any party I throw. Just because a person is Black and doesn't vote straight Democratic doesn't mean they are "self-loathing". Heck I think those that insist on the gang-banger, father-children-out-of-wedlock-and-abandon-them, and butcher the English language are the self-lathers.

No one has to imagine secret jealous rages. Not a woman alive can keep a jealous rage a secret.

Damn few in fact will ever feel about cults the way you do. You take it personally, dude.

Oh yeah, don't I know all of that:

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” ended Wednesday, bringing despair to booksellers who relied on her book club, television programmers who needed her ratings, and religion scholars who for a decade have tried explaining how this child of poverty became the leader of a worldwide cult.

That's the New York Times, and it ends like this:

Oprah scholars excel, as many good scholars do, at withholding judgment, seeking to explain rather than praise or condemn. One wishes for a more critical eye. I, for one, found something cathartic in Dr. Illouz’s brief critique, when she called Ms. Winfrey “absurd” for “making suffering into a desirable experience.”

In her earnest spiritual seeking, Ms. Winfrey gave platforms to some rather questionable types. She hosted the self-help author Louise Hay, who once said Holocaust victims may have been paying for sins in a previous life. She championed the “medical intuitive” Caroline Myss, who claims emotional distress causes cancer. She helped launch Rhonda Byrne, creator of the DVD and book “The Secret,” who teaches that just thinking about wealth can make you rich. She invited the “psychic medium” John Edward to help mourners in her audience talk to their dead relatives.

“The Oprah Winfrey Show” made viewers feel that they constantly had to “sculpt their best lives,” Dr. Lofton writes. Yet in her religious exuberance Ms. Winfrey gave people some badly broken tools. Ms. Winfrey nodded along to the psychics and healers and intuitives. She rarely asked tough questions, and because she believed, millions of others did, too.

So here I am, with all my "good reasons," watching the entire world - I said THE ENTIRE WORLD - applauding a cult and cult leader because - just like with the lamer president she presented to us - they're black. Like me. A fact which, apparently, only I and a handful of religious scholrs could see as it was happening - and that includes all the destruction in just her wake (because there are so many others) and the best everyone can give me - even after I acknowledged my wrong actions - is "chill out," "calm down," and boy! that lady who called you a cultist sure was something on that other blog where this vitally important topic on ***the true nature of our society*** was never even brought up or considered.

Which, at this point, seems to be exactly what she has in mind.

Actually, I think this is all true. Palin is clearly beloved by a certain part of the electorate, and the GOP needs that part of the electorate to win. She needs to stay in the public eye just enough to stay relevant, but by actually running she might ruin that deal if she fails to win the GOP nomination. And none of this is inconsistent with the idea that she is also doing this to make money on the celebrity circuit. Nothing wrong with going on tour to buy yourself a new mansion. Just ask Pete Townshend.

Until I hear that she is doing serious hiring of operatives in Iowa and New Hampshire (yeoman work that is still a necessary part of presidential campaigns), I'm still assuming she isn't going to be a candidate in 2012. Now, Rick Perry on the other hand...

What if Palin is running for President? Announcing it too early would be a terrible mistake. Campaign finance laws are different for declared candidates. Besides, the not-too-swift mainstream media would renounce any pretension of decency and be even more vile in their attacks. As a non-candidate she has a great deal more latitude to comment and interact with people than otherwise. Are the limits on campaign donations applying to her action committee and her presidential campaign? This is still the end of May, and the first of the year primaries and caucuses are months off. Declare too early and become an appetizer for the press.

Just think: If Hilary had contested all of the caucus states, this might not have happened. She thought she could garner sufficient support in the primary states to take the nomination. I thought Hilary was brilliant, but she couldn't do the math. Had the Democratic primaries had "winner take all" rules, the outcome would have been very different.

How would Sarah behave if she wasn't running for office? Is she behaving that way?

The Crack Emcee म्हणाले...

But a real live cult - one that many people, even here, have participated in. I've seen it in the what you say, how you vote, and the things you do. And, yes, it's driven me a little nuts at times, but there's one thing I know that none of you seem to get, and i wish - Gawd, how I wish - you guys, at least, would deal with it;

I'm not the one with the problem.

I'm not the one who killed anyone. I'm not the one who supported it - even a little. I'm not the one who voted for the cult leader's candidate.

I'm not the one who surrounded me with this shit.

That's all on YOU.

I left the ghetto to get educated - and away from madness - not to be introduced a new one.

Win it means Qaddafi goes and America gets to get on out of there and let the people of Libya create their own government, choose their own leader. And America, no nation building. We get out. We take care of our affairs elsewhere."

Why does that confuse you? Palin is saying we need to target Qaddafi and then leave Libya to its people. Unlike the current "days not weeks" meme of the Diversity Hire thats already 2 months old.

The hell it is, Crack Emcee. The hell it is. It is not.

Let us not forget that Palin is so media savvy, and so concerned about her appearances that she would even take a hairdresser with her to a disaster camp in Haiti.

Oh wait, that was her daughter. Those who hate Sarah are beyond reason.

Crack Emcee:

Your beef, so far as I can tell, orginated with your choice of wife. Well, not everyone made that choice of type of spouse. You, however, apparently, did. How that is everyone else's fault--but not yours!!!!--you have never bothered to explain in a direct way (meaning, why in hell should I read through your entire blog, railing against this and/or that, to get to that particular nugget of insight?).

I feel for you, Crack Emcee. I suspect you'd be surprised at how much I agree with a number of things you say. Some of it is enlightenment; much more of it recognition. Even so and regardless, you can stick the following in your ear:

That's all on YOU.

And to repeat:

The hell it is, Crack Emcee. The hell it is. It is not.

reader_iam is one of those wonderful souls who sees a man on a ledge and yells, "JUMP!"

Yes, reader_iam, it is all on you.

Right now, I'd say you, specifically.

reader_iam म्हणाले...

No, Crack Emcee, NOT: "Jump!"

Rather: "Make the leap!" (to not jumping and not accusing others of forcing a choice on you which you forced on yourself).

Under no circumstances would I ever encourage anyone, much less someone, to jump off a ledge. It's far more likely that I'd go out on a ledge with someone who'd push me off it than that I'd push someone off one. And that's flat.

reader_iam म्हणाले...

Yet, I won't be pushed over. That's also flat. I defy you to try. You're like that, too, I suspect. Maybe stop signifying otherwise, dude?

As for Crack Emcee's "leaking" computer:

We've been and are going through hard times, too. But I'm willing to put up the first $25 to buy that man a new computer. With all the traffic here at Althouse, and given all the fans of Crack Emcee, it seems to me it wouldn't be hard to very quickly raise enough funds for him to buy a new computer. Should there be a relatively small shortfall, surely Althouse/Meade would help push this effort over the hump and achieve the goal?

This Paul guy sure is an idiot. Jesus Christ.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Somehow, I don't think Todd Palin has to suck in his gut.

Althouse, your language here reveals your disdain for Palin. What makes it a joke is that you're gonna vote again for the worst president in US history, and you don't say stuff like this about the phony SOB.

1. "Sarah, she's just like you,"—hell, yeah, she's just like us. She loves this country and won't apologize for it.

2. "she's slouching as if she's not thinking about her looks at all"—uh huh, she's trying to con you but you're too slick for her Althouse.

Crack,

Given that Palin has no proposals and no record of implementing fiscal reform/ spending cuts/reducing size of government, how are her followers any different than Obama's. "

Ignorant bastard, mccullough. The least you coulda done was read up on the woman's record as mayor, oil and gas commissioner, governor.

Her supporters (not followers cuz we're working along with her to restore America after 0 is finished wrecking her) know her record, which is why we support her.

Jeez, it's one thing to be ignorant. It's another thing to let the whole world know it.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Terrye said: "And during the midterms she supported some candidates who did not do very well and that makes me wonder if she has the kind of appeal it takes to win a general election.. "

Jeez, what a crock! Palin had about a 70-75% endorsement win record in the elections of 2010. What other politician can claim success like that?

What else don't you know about Palin that is the basis for your opinion of her?

Freakin' Obama voters who just go for outer gloss without bothering to discover track record....
