Raising money for Bloggingheads by auctioning the censorship of Ann Althouse.
In the words of the Marx Brothers...
... tomorrow, I leave! That's worth about... a million dollars!

That's alright for you, but you've got a partner.
Everybody already knows what it costs to buy Althouse.
And, even Althou.se wasn't willing to pay it.
Not being bought? Priceless.
How much to be rid of Wright?
Notice both of these "Liberals" are willing to entertain the idea, joke that it might be.
PS And PB&J, with all the other trolls right behind, will be following her wherever she goes.
They can't live without being bitch slapped at least once a day.
"Notice both of these "Liberals" are willing to entertain the idea, joke that it might be."
Look, it's a big compliment. It's like I'm the Sarah Palin of bloggers. Why do they even pay attention to me? Why the fire about shutting me up?
But I'm only on Bloggingheads because they keep inviting me. Why is that? Despite all their commenters who bellyache about how terrible it is that they keep having me. I think they can see they get traffic through me, which is why talking about me by name here is a traffic-getting move. I linked, after all.
AA, you must do this routine (w painted on Groucho 'stache) on your next Bloggingheads!
Does Meado play the harp or the piano?
BTW, I've done 2 Bloggingheads episodes with Bob where he showed enthusiasm for censorship and I called him on it.
What about the rest of us? Send me a check for $100 and I'll never appear on Bloggingheads in the future or the past.

I was being facetious.
"Get-a you tutsi-fruitsi healthcare...."
If Wright and Cohen-Wade are what passes for men these days, it's no wonder that women rule the world.
I wonder if the commenter they mention (Malacliops?) is Malaclypse from the nasty little pit of antisemitic socialists that banned Meade and sent all of his comments down the memory hole.
That would conform to expectations.
"I once shot a Quaddafi in my pajamas media...what he was doing there I don't know."
"Quaddafi duck? Why-a not a Quaddafi elephant in 2012?"
The Bloggingheads commenters on AA:
"How'd you like to feel the way she looks?"
not so bad...I think!
It's pretty clear that they just want to have their little echo chamber, and not consider or bother refuting ideas from elsewhere. It's just like college!
"I was being facetious."
You were being facetious in calling it a joke? Does that mean you were serious?
It is hard to say whether they were seriously entertaining the idea of "buying Althouse's silence." Based on Wright's earlier bloggingheads with the Prof., I wouldn't doubt it. Keep in mind, they were basically talking about a price, rather than the desirability of the concept.
Groucho and Chico were funnier
...and more insightful too.
I remember one of the other bloggingheads where Bob the Lib was pro-censorship. Controlling the speech of others is a pretty central tenet of their belief system. There's a shocka!
Unfortunately, neither of these two seem to have the sense of humor to make their little riff at all amusing.
11:47.
Whereas a mormon pansy like Edutcher gets byatch slapped hourly.
Viente, Anna. $20!!!! and..gratuity. Like...the cheesy jalapenos (3, not the 7, mujerzuelta)
Do these money actually make money doing this?
Do they have real jobs?
And why the fuck should I care?
"people" not money.
I thought perhaps the name of commenter they mentioned was malakos or malakos, which I recall meaning "wanker" in Greek.
Odd but when I google "bloggingheads" together with "malakos" I come up with an old Althouse post related to Sullivan: link.
Bob Wright and Aryeh-Cohen run a terrible forum. Bloggingheads is great, but the forum is an asylum for progressives.
They banned me for simply criticizing Brenda, their worthless moderator, in private.
She wouldn't even publish our harmless chat... so people could see for themselves why I was banned.
Worse than Meade's banishment. Progressives can't deal with criticism. An awful lot of human beings they are.
Progressives can't deal with criticism.
I call it "castigation anxiety." It all stems from how their women treat them.

No, that the 2 Lefties were actually entertaining the idea. I don't think they really want you blackballed, but, if a Conservative, even for a joke, said so...

No, that's J's job. Considering he calls everybody else a Mormon, he must live 20 East, 60 North in SLC.
I find ann on blogging heads to be infinitely more tolerable than she is blogging. I think her diavlogs are always pretty good, especially the ones with Bob.
"infinitely more tolerable"
I'm trying to get my mind around what that must feel like.
Boringheads is a waste of time. They have the same five commenter’s who spend all their time agreeing with each other. Why would you want to be part of such a shithole?
You get a better discussion and give and take in the “I Hate Jill Zarin” comment section.
I am really impressed that rcocean can spend so much time over there.
As well as RH Hardin.
But then RH freaks me out.
"I am really impressed that rcocean can spend so much time over there."
Its because I was in the Chess Club - High School and College. P-K4
I like reading bloggers/ watching bloggingheads because you never know what they will think is worth saying and they aren't locked into propagandizing and in them ideas and bits of knowledge float around. And this speculation by Wright - a sort of reverse American Idol proposal - to me, in this sort of joke, the left is really asking - how much would it cost to get a real blogger - since the faux ones haven't worked out, the sock puppets are unmasked, and the newspapers are dying. The answer is: a real blogger is free.
But then RH freaks me out.
I'm weirded out by how much time RH spends on that Camping preacher. It's almost like an obsession.
Much of the rest of the linked diavlog was Bob and his assistant explaining the policies they use to censor comments or "move them to the dungeon," as they euphamistically put it.
If you've watched Ann and Bob's recent exchanges via email and Bloggingheads, it was already clear Ann has a MUCH more expansive view of free speech than does Bob. The linked diavlog reinforces how wide that gulf is.
