Have you seen the pics of Palin's (rumored) new AZ home?

Yooge!

Is that the kid's age?

Jason (the commenter) म्हणाले...

Farm Toys! Who wants to be milked?

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

Poor Joplin, Missouri was slammed by a mile wide tornado tonight. Horrible.

RuyDiaz म्हणाले...

Just saw the news on Joplin... Jesus. At least 24 dead. All of the sudden, I don't want to play.

अनामित म्हणाले...

I like the "1/2" that's part of the street address.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

They're saying that 75% of Joplin is gone.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

Okay, one woman is saying that.

RuyDiaz म्हणाले...

Freeman;

It is hard to estimate destruction at this hour of the night, but it does seem pretty bad. Tornadoes are perverse wheather events--they develop so fast, even prudent people don't have time to hide.

Fred4Pres म्हणाले...

I hope Joplin is not that bad off.

Farm toys are cool.

MamaM म्हणाले...

Some doors are best left unopened.
I wouldn't walk in that one a dare, a bet or a quest for farm toys.

A porn outlet for the rural sector.

So, party at 1512 and a half.

Or...um...at the OTHER half...which we will call 1512 and a half.

Is that you, Darryl?

Friggin' hayseed. Go to bed!

@Freeman

Where I live, the worst we encounter is cold/heavy snows in the winter. Our area routinely gets the 'snowstorm capital' moniker in the media. Considering some of the awful flooding and tornadoes down in your neck of the woods, I will gladly live with the long winters and snow, any day.

Thoughts and prayers to all of you living through this spate of bad weather. Thank God for modern weather warning systems, though not 100% perfect, it saves lives.

Hmmm..., farm toys behind closed doors.

Is there some play hay where Meadhouse can, you know...?

They could have used B, like Sherlock's home.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

89 people.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

In the area where I live, we never have flooding because the elevation is too high. We only had flooding this year because of a freakish amount of rain over one week. Some towns had 15 inches.

How very sad for Joplin. North Minneapolis had its own smaller tornado, leaving one dead and 100 homes seriously damaged.

A liquor store got looted as a result, too.

rhhardin म्हणाले...

The neighbor two houses down's power is out, his drop-line transformer fuse having succumbed to a thunderstorm power hit.

The disadvantage of him being without power is that he has a very loud bottom-of-the-line home depot generator.

No whisper-quiet models for him.

A jet engine is easily heard over the generator at 50 feet, but that's about it.

Joplin's hospital, a regional medical center, was completely devastated.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

Husband just left for Joplin with a bunch of clothes, food, and some digging tools. Hope all goes well.

अनामित म्हणाले...

Wow, Freeman. Those are awful pictures. I imagine people in the hospital died that day. Was there any warning?

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

They had about 20 minutes warning.

Husband just got there. They said that if you can lift 150 pounds, they need you.

Freeman Hunt म्हणाले...

I've gotten one text message since he arrived:

"No words"
