From late afternoon through the evening, tornadoes (possibly reaching or exceeding EF2 in intensity), large hail (locally golf ball size or larger), and damaging winds exceeding 70 mph will all be threats.
Pogo: Madison's highest paid city government employee last year wasn't the mayor. It wasn't the police chief. It wasn't even the head of Metro Transit.
Well, arguably, the bus drivers are doing more useful work than any of the above.

But it made me think about how long the full size photo would have taken to download on my ExecPC dial up connection 15 years ago. Minutes?

"Madison's highest paid city government employee last year wasn't the mayor. It wasn't the police chief. It wasn't even the head of Metro Transit.
It was bus driver John E. Nelson.
Nelson earned $159,258 in 2009, including $109,892 in overtime and other pay.
He and his colleague, driver Greg Tatman, who earned $125,598, were among the city's top 20 earners for 2009, city records show."

The Art of the Nest
The five branches look like fingers holding the nest as if it were in the palm of a hand.
The composition involved with both the nest and the picture amaze me.
