You get the impression the real tantrum hasn't begun yet.

And the real hurt hasn't even begun yet.

These people are like kids throwing tantrums because the cable has been cut off, unaware that the sherrif and a locksmith are approaching their front door.

I'd be curious to see a comparison of pictures from TP protests and this protest to determine the number of violent signs.

Surely the peace and civility loving democrats will have a smaller percentage of signs with violent imagery. Right?

White racist anti-government types issuing violent threats.

Where is the ATF? Where is Homeland Security to protect us from these domestic threateners?

I thought we had a zero-tolerance policy for violent rhetoric. Someone could get shot in their face.

अनामित म्हणाले...

"Somebody has not learned the difference between 'can' and 'may.'"

Well, at least this one managed to spell all the words correctly. Which is an improvement amongst the illiterate union thug crowd that got their public education in Madison's craphole schools.

We'll work on their piss-poor grammar skills during next year's budget battle when they're protesting the massive pay cuts they'll be getting on top of this year's benefit cuts.

Like a Klan rally without the Reb flags. I don't know if there is a "pussy" flag if there is perhaps some of these guys should carry it.

The one thing that these union thugs have done is to raise the stakes so high that Scott Walker has no choice but to face them down... if he backs out of this fight he will be a lame duck Governor whom no one will respect..least of all the conservatives who stuck their neck out for him.

Mr.Walker, i hope and pray to God that you have the cajones to take these turds on and not give an inch.

btw, Wisconsin doctors who gave the lazy teachers fake medical certificates should be severly disciplined-the last people on earth that you want to suspect of dishonesty is your doctor.

I compare the Althouse & Gateway Pundit photos with the photos published by the Journal-Sentinel (taken by Joe Koshollek) and it seems like there were two separate protests.

http://www.jsonline.com/multimedia/photos/116530718.htm

Except for picture 54 with the "Stop Hosni Walker..." sign in the bottom foreground, one would be lead to believe that this is a reasonable group of protesters.

Michael K म्हणाले...

If Walker were to back down now, the municipal bond market would crash. This has gotten so big that he can't back down. The unions have miscalculated and it may go far beyond this now. He is committed and on Fox this morning, he didn't look worried.

Pierre म्हणाले...

Well the trick is to keep backing away from these crazy motherfuckers until they go over the edge and hurt one of us. Then it is ON...just like the Revolution where we waited until the British attacked. The trick here is to get the left to go way over the edge and start that fucking revolution they keep squawking about...

I am a physician and am terribly upset to see doctors openly writing fake doctor's excuses for teachers who skipped work to protest. This major breach in professionalism is akin to writing prescriptions for narcotics without examining the patient. These docs are aiding those who those who protest for similar political agendas.

Legal questions for Ann:

1. Do you have any ideas as to the responsibilities of the state medical board to get involved?

2. Does the non-protesting citizenry have any civil claim against the involved doctors?

3. Has anyone yet investigated the contracts these docs have with their professional liability companies? Or have they violated their hospital medical staff privileges?

Dan म्हणाले...

I just sent an email to Gov. Walker's office encourage him to push on until he succeeds in his mission. If he fails, the labor goons and minions will be emboldened and the civil war that will result will not be pretty. Have to nip this in the bud now or else the future battle will truly be brutal.

The gangsters are honest with themselves about what they do for a living. When they shake someone down they call it a "shakedown", when the unions shake someone down they call it a "negotiation".

Chennaul म्हणाले...

You're the Wisconsin taxpayer. The state takes your taxes under threat of imprisonment.

Now what do they do with those taxes? One thing is-they build a virtual monopoly on education.

It's like you can only shop at one store.

Liberals complain about Walmart.

Well in the education department the state owns almost all of the market.

It's a little like having Target and Walmart combined.

TarMart. (Religious schools-Kmart.)

But, it gets even worse than that.

They build a transportation system to that-and since your kid can't drive he has to use it. You the taxpayer have to pay for it.

Of course it only goes to TarMart.

So the taxpayer has paid for the TarMart buildings, the heating and cooling, and maintenance. They've paid for the transportation. They pay the worker's salaries.

So the state has effectively taken that money-and left the taxpayer with little real choice. How easy is it to send your kid to school anywhere else? They've lowered your ability to pay tuition and at the same time they've knocked out the competition.

Now do you think it gets even worse?

Well yes it does.

Those workers organize to get even more from you and who do they negotiate that collective deal with-the politicians.

Up until today guess who those politicians were bought and paid for by? Not really the taxpayer...

The Wisconsin unions do 99% of their campaign donations to the Democrat polticians and they are one of the biggest campaign donaters in the state.

Until today-the Wisconsin public unions were on both sides of the negotiation table when deciding how to divvy up your money.

Their union representatives on one side and their campaign funded Democrat politicians on the other-beholding to them.

They've been getting more than their fair share and it's why they are willing to give up a lot of things to maintain that unfair advantage.

It has got to stop.

You cannot allow the unions to have this kind of leverage over you.

You cannot allow them to have you at your most vulnerable and use something as important as your children's education and future against you.

Darlene म्हणाले...

I have some suggestions. First, any teacher that shows up for work with a fake doctor's excuse should be fired on the spot, removed from the school in handcuffs, prosecuted for fraud, and then have his or her teacher's credentials revoked.

Next, give mass tests to the unemployed, especially those parents who have lost their jobs because they had to stay home with their kids. These tests will be for becoming certified as a teacher. This could be done very quickly, in a week or less. Hire the newly-certified teachers. They will certainly do a better job than the teachers who were just fired.

Unknown म्हणाले...

People do not despair. We will win this if we just realize that our votes far outnumber public employee unions. They have had an advantge in the past because most "citizens" were shirking the responsibility that is inherent to our form of government "ETERNAL VIGILANCE". We must stay engaged with extreme prejudice and win a victory over anointed ones.

Unknown म्हणाले...

People do not despair. The anointed ones have deployed their last chance weapon. Before it was money and cronyism with democrats. Now that the pyramid scheme they have created (makes Maddoff seem trivial)has reached its predetermined conclusion they will scream for the scraps to be theirs. People keep up the heat via your elected officials and we will win. Stay sitting on the sidelines and end times will surely be follow shortly.

Arrest the union thugs for incitement. No mercy.

Chennaul म्हणाले...

addendum: over the past week it's become readily apparent that they are willing to abuse that power.

The state has entrusted the teacher's with those jobs, you're their boss and they don't even really like you-or respect you.

They've dragged your kid to inflate the protest numbers until the Democrat and union machine could bus people in and they inflate the numbers of the protesters with the college kids whose dorms, and services are supplemented by-

YOU-the taxpayer.

It's such fun for them in YOUR Captiol building that cost you-

$145 million to renovate.

2001
The Wisconsin State Capitol is designated a National Historic Landmark. The entire cost of the State Capitol renovation/restoration project is $145 million.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't want this "teacher" or any of the "teachers" holding those terrible signs anywhere near my kids. Gov. Walker should pull a Reagan and fire the lot of them. I'll bet there are plenty of educators in other states looking for jobs right now.

Kris I would be one of those looking for a teaching job. Just as I have gotten my "credentials" to teach in Texas there is a hiring freeze in most districts and quite a few are actually laying off people.

A worthy role model for America's youth.

Did you know that most openings for teachers in Wisconsin attract scores of qualified applicants?

AST म्हणाले...

I've seen good unions, which arrange for certified workers such as boiler makers, or construction workers to find where the jobs are.

But my general experience with them has been that they protect slovenly workers and outrageous conduct even against complaints by other union members; that they don't really care about the workers so much as they do about power vs. employers. They also feed a lot of shocking propaganda to their members of the sort we see on display in Madison. And they can be as big thugs as once were used as strikebreakers.

Pangolin म्हणाले...

This must be the home of the Conservative internet-tough-guy. Okay tough guys, put on your jackets and get out there and counter-protest. You have feet don't you?

Except the Teabaggers did and got pwned.

We are a nation that is controlled by ignorant non-thinking people. Unions were a good thing 80 years ago, but not now. Schools are not sweat shops. Many teachers are far more concerned in retaining their lack of ability under what they consider a Union protection system. Doesn't it ever occur to you liberals that we spend more on education and get less benefits than any nation in history? Ask yourself why. I travel all over the world and would you like to learn a little? Medical treatment in America is #28, education in America #23, intelligence is #24,so can you read statistics? This means that we are poorly educated, does it not? The AMA is a union for doctors. It has cost the lives of more than a billion people before their time. It has pigeon-holed a complete cure for breast cancer for going on 45 years. Wake up you ignorant imbiciles, before the few good Americans die of old age... Scott is right!

Unknown म्हणाले...

Has any government anywhere, anytime ever been capable of doing things better than common man? I doubt it unless the reason is for their own agendas. I have been watching for the last seventy five years and so far the governments have lost each contest. So, lets create our own worldwide consortium of "Common folk". I would like to nominate Ann, at least we have someone to admire instead of you know who....

Pangolin म्हणाले...

@Tom_"Has any government anywhere, anytime ever been capable of doing things better than common man?"

I love it that Teabaggers are so stupid as to post this sentence on the fucking internet. Google: ARPANET you fucking dumbass.

This rocks too: "The AMA is a union for doctors" posted on a lawyers website. Have you ever heard of the American Bar Association? What do you think they do?
