1. First, of all: "axed." Should we be saying "axed"? There hasn't be a high-profile ax murder in a while, and now if there is one, The Daily Mail will have to answer for it.
2. Katie Holmes looks a little like Jackie in that get-up, but something's missing — something in the legs and arms proportionality. And that expression! Why is Katie always so sad?!
3. "JFK's niece Maria Shriver, and his daughter, Caroline Kennedy, are reported to have lobbied hard for the History Channel to pull the plug on the series." Katie and Tom less powerful than Maria and Caroline? Noooo!
4. A History Channel spokesperson said: "While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not fit for the History brand... We recognise historical fiction is an important medium for storytelling and commend all the hard work and passion that has gone into the making of the series, but ultimately deem this as the right programming decision for our network." Find the lies in that statement. Why'd they approve of the production in the first place if that sort of thing isn't "right" for them?
5. Sorry about the "Schwarzenegger" tag. I don't feel like making a separate tag for Maria Shriver.

just write some UFOs and Bigfoots into the storyline and History Channel will run it.
Crack MC knows why Katie Holmes looks sad.
Maria Shriver? Maria Shriver? Hmmm who is she married to?
Katie gave it a shot. They killed it.
Scientology probably was against it for some reason.
"Find the lies in that statement."
1. "[A]fter viewing the final product in its totality".
History is much richer when taken out of context.
2. "We recognise historical fiction is an important medium for storytelling".
Leave the historical fiction and storytelling to the MSM.
Triangle Man,
Crack MC knows why Katie Holmes looks sad.
*Bows Really Low* Thank you, thank you, you're too kind.
Otherwise:
Don't care. Don't care. Don't care.
You know it was another one of those modern day smear jobs, and - while I'm no JFK or Jackie O fan - I'm sick of that shit. Tell me something I need to know, not your we-wanted-to-be-titillating, we-had-fun-with-the-truth bullshit. Here's the biggest accurate take-away of the last 10 years:
Jackie smoked.
Big fucking whoop.
Somebody had the common sense to send the Scientologists packing. Get out of here, you wierdos.
You are within shooting distance of Taliesin so axing is probably not advised.

I wonder how much money they spent producing this show only to have it vetoed by the Kennedys. It's really amazing they allow that bunch to have a veto over their television programming.
I saw some ads for the show and it didn't look anti-Kennedy to me, except it seemed to make old Joe out to be power mad.
You get the feeling Maria and Caroline still think they have futures in American politics.
As for Katie, put any slim woman in a Jackie suit and she "looks a little like Jackie", but not that much.
PS The History Channel has gotten too far afield in its stuff. Between pawnbrokers and no people and re-enactors, they've forgotten what works for them.
Oh, and as far as the History channel's coveted brand, they run shows that flatly accuse LBJ of conspiracy in the JFK assassination. And I won't even go into how wacky some of their Catholic related stuff gets.
I watch that channel quite a bit and "history" is not an apt description of most of their programming.
Katie Holmes looks a little like Jackie in that get-up, but something's missing — something in the legs and arms proportionality.
Man, that's one badly tailored suit. She doesn't share Jackie's proportions and body type, but that's no reason to make her wear a suit that was fitted on somebody who does.
But the History Channel went to hell a long time ago.
Katie's charm seems more accessible than that of Jackie. I gues that's the difference between a pretty woman and a movie star.....What are the mechanics of someone outside of the History Channel food chain having the clout to cancel an expensive project like this? I just don't understand how they did it.
Reminds of the flap over the Reagan mini-series. If that is any indicator, it will come out eventually and soon thereafter fade into oblivion.
She looks ridiculous in that Jackie get-up. Ill-fitting skirt, too-big gloves. Almost like a cartoon character.
The History Deniers won this one. The junk they regularly produce and air about UFOs and Propecies of Nostradamos is what needs axing. The Kennedy Family myths should no longer be protected.
Jackie had long slender legs and Katie has little stubbies. That's why she doesn't look quite right.
Why is Katie always so sad?!
It is tough being a beard?
Katie Holmes looks catatonic to me. A Stepford wife who stepped in it and can't step out cause she's addicted to Tom's stash.
Yeah, it misses their rigorous standards!
First, of all: "axed." Should we be saying "axed"?
Banning "axed" would be racist.

Hey Dumb Dumb!
Do you understand that when people object to violent rhetoric they are trying to discourage acts of violence against actual people and not just inanimate objects?
You know, sometimes bragging about being a law professor should come with a sense of pride in being intellectually acute, rather than just using bombast and entertaining goofy hypotheticals.
This has been a tough couple of months for Ritmo. First the Dems get trounced at the polls, and now a bloody massacre has happened and the Left hasn't even been able to benefit from it politically.
Its like the world has been turned upside-down.
Jackie had long slender legs
And she was as bow-legged as an old cowboy. Plus her eyes were as far apart as that horrible cartoon girl.
TLC will be showing Kennedy home movies to keep Camelot alive.
He's too old for her. It's no fun being married in your 20s, much less being married to a middle-aged, religious zealot, control-freak, jah?
See Mariah Carey's 1st career-oriented marriage.

LOL!!! She's been Matolla'ed or is that Heffnered? :D
Libtard: Hey Dumb Dumb! Do you understand that when people object to violent rhetoric they are trying to discourage acts of violence
Hey Libtard, try connecting the "violent" rheotric with the act of violence in Arizona.
[ready the crickets]
The history channel runs programs about ghosts and extraterrestrial beings. Give the not-good-enough a rest.
Hey Conservatives 4, you should know that Frank Lloyd Wright's wife and 6 others were killed with an ax at Taliesin. You don't need a glock to kill 7 people.
And she was as bow-legged as an old cowboy.
Hah! That's true. Still, she had better legs than Katie.
And always remember: "I like to go swimming with bowlegged women."
