"I don't mean to sound rash but did we not get raped last night only to wake up resembling a rape victim who convinces herself that she was at fault and could've/should've done more to prevent the attack?"
When did it become OK to hate people for their race and age?
The same hour and day the sneering, contemptuous phrase "dead white males" became acceptable in academia? The day Al "Freddie's Fashion Mart/Tawana Brawley" Sharpton was embraced as a serious potential Presidential nominee by the Democratic party?
What the heck is that flora? Have all of those years of planting flora of every description changed Meade into a Frankenstein Gardener. Not that gardening lacks good authority from scripture, where that was Adam's job description (and naming a few animals right before they could evolve), but then along came Eve and nothing's been the same since.
Coming from the party of Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff, and Mark Foley, that is funny. And I hope they go all in for impeachment. That worked out so well for you the last time.
Garage forgets names like William Jefferson, Maxine Waters, and Charlie Rangel.
Actually, impeachment went quite well. Once the Congressmen saw what the evidence was, it sailed through. The RINOs helped the Demos kill the trial (Specter the Defecter), but the Party of Jackson and Jefferson has the honor of the only President disbarred for perjury.

I guess it's the sight of Meade burrowing in the earth that does it.
She must look quite winsome in those ankle-length skirts and Mary Janes.
PS Sad to say, I don't think one can attribute any real felonies to The Zero.
The word from an Airline Safety Expert is that the all Cargo Carriers are about to get major new rules restricting operations. Shipping stuff will become more expensive and much slower.
Upon hearing this news I'm sure Obama will call Republican leaders to tell them he supports their stated #1 goal of destroying him, promising to work together to accommodate them.
One day after a slaughter of the Left and RINOs are turning their guns on Tea Party Republicans. That's where the first and most important fight will have to be: to vanquish the RINOs.
Geithner sought economic advice from ... Jon Stewart?
Speaking of Jon boy, he had a clip of Huckabee likening the GOP takeover in the House to the 1812 madrid earthquake that reversed the flow of the Mississippi.
Scene cuts to Stewart looking perplexed than saying yeah, it killed thousands of people!!! Actually from what I have read, there really wasn't any record of a death toll since the whole region was sparsely populated to begin with. But I guess you can't let facts get in the way of a good joke.
Here's a question I have not seen discussed.... were the UPS bombs radiological? Last week I heard someone briefly mention that one of the bombs was picked up because of its radiation signal but then never heard another word.
Then I heard on the radio this morning that a terrorism expert said that if one of the bombs went off in a plane flying low over a neighborhood it would have caused horrible damage. I thought, really? A plane went directly into a neighborhood in Queens in 2001 and caused less than 10 deaths on the ground. Doesn't seem as horrific as he implied. At least not by AQ standards.
The Geithner item is a real laugher. Right up there with Babs Streisand sending words of advice to Willie and Dick 'Gebhard'.

Was Pete Rose placing bets with his bookie on Sparky's exact date of death? Cincinnati was a great team to watch in the mid 70s. My favorite Reds player to watch was Johnny Bench, and there was also Joe Morgan.
Rumor has it the Yanks are in serious talks with Bench for that bat of his. Defensively he should do as well as Posada so no loss there. Yup, the Yanks are seriously looking for the 60 year old talent out there.
Am I the only person who remembers back when Geithner was so absolutely necessary to the Obama administration because he was the only person who could help fix the economy and therefore we had to overlook his teensy, weensy tax problem?
Looks like Geithner could no more figure out how to fix the economy than he could figure out how to use TurboTax.
@ Alex: Not exactly, but its leaves are used for flavoring in a lot of S. Asian/S.E. Asian foods. It goes under the name Pandan or Pandanus, if you're looking for it in your local Asian market.
Absolutely correct, Mike. TARP was Geithner's big idea and we see how well it worked (Google the name Neil Barofsky or start here).
The idea that Tim the Tax Cheat is huddling with Stewart is beyond ridiculous. That more than a few RINOs were all for him should make them obsolete as far as Congress is concerned.

1967, IIRC. If you were a Lefty doofus, you hated white people over 30. Now, of course, they have to hate everybody who isn't them.

I believe that's a "walking tree" that actually moves, however slowly, over time. Those above ground root things die and grow in different directions.
I saw them in Central America.
Maybe it's more of a sauntering tree...

Rest in peace, Sparky Anderson.
"I got good players, stayed out of their way, let them win a lot and then just hung around for 26 years," he said during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech in 2000.
That's sad about Sparky. I would bet that Cincinnati and Detroit will both have his initials on their uniforms next season.
RIP, Sparky. Though I never lived in Cincinnati or Detroit, I always admired this guy. One of my alltime baseball faves, along with Brooks and Robin.
Out of respect for Meade and Darcy I will not have Sparky try out for PA announcer.
Although the fact that his Big Red Machine beat the Yankees is not a good omen for him. But I will put in a good word for him this Sunday.
Because you see God is a Yankee Fan.

That must be in a greenhouse in Madison. Very common landscaping plant on Kauai, not so much the other Hawaiian islands.
