"They say that all good things must end someday. Autumn leaves must fall."

Equinoxiously yours,

P.S. It's the Super Harvest Moon tonight.

On this glorious day, I say this:

The election in Nov. 2010 is a wash for GOP and Tea Party. Nothing will change: We will still have the great Speaker Pelosi and the great Leader Reid.

If this does not happen, then I will host a burger-fest in Madison. You can eat for free one Sat.

The problem is that I cannot lose. My polls show that voters will never support GOP and Tea Party.

Also, the election of Nov. 2012 will be a devastating defeat of Palin (Quitter, Non-Accomplished, No Policy, etc.). We will win all 50-states.

If I lose, then you are welcome to another fest.

The goal: The rightful 2nd term for Obama/Biden.
The help: You. Do what is necessary to help us win and defeat GOP and Tea Party.

From September to December it's all downhill,
The days getting shorter darker colder;
It reaches the point where you've had your fill,
Then it turns around and every day gets bolder.

Here in Arizona, we celebrate it as The First Day of Maybe Cooling Off. At last. The next 8 months will be heavenly.

Today at lunch my husband saw the news-thing about the super harvest moon and said, "Hey!" and then looked out the window at the overcast sky and said, "Never mind."

It's still raining, mostly.

Here in NE Ohio it's supposed to be 90 tomorrow. One can only presume this portends a mild winter.

In a couple days, the night will be longer than the day. It's already dark here by 7:15 if it's cloudy.

Chad & Jeremy are old geezers, but that is a very nice version of the song.

Coincidence! My wife and I went to see Chad and Jeremy Monday night in the Athens, Tennessee, Junior High Auditorium. Quite a step down from the days of top-ten hits and Hollywood. They ended the show with Summer Song, one of my wife's favorite songs. They put on a pretty good show, but their voices ain't, shall we say, what they used to be. But, then, they are over 70 years old.

I found this very touching. Jeremy Clyde was my first "star crush."

To make it sweeter, they're playing at my old college radio station.

Here are my two "End Of Summer" songs.

Wasn't that song written by Paul McCartney?

If it wasn't, it sure as hell should have been!

Chad and Jeremy?

Aren't they Althouse commenters?

I got to see the super harvest moon at dawn today, on the opposite horizon, in the rear view mirror of the car. It's overcast today as well but the clouds to the West thinned out so the moon was extra pretty peaking between them.

Once I got home I couldn't see it, of course, because the mountain is in the way.
