So, out of curiosity, just how many miles did you log on the North Country National Scenic Trail?
Wisconsin holds the most completed miles on this trail from New York to North Dakota.

Aren't you tempted to spend a summer hiking the whole thing? It doesn't present the vertical challenge of the Pacific Crest or Appalachian trails.

I'm not sure if we did anything more than intersect with it at one or 2 points. That's quite a trail... it will be more than 2x the length of the Appalachian Trial. I hadn't heard about it until this past week.
There's also the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin.
Keep in mind that I have never camped. It would be a big step for me to camp out and keep walking!
Do not camp out in mosquito season!
