You mean American soldiers, sailors, coastguardsmen, and Marines.
Also, about a million Filipinos, the Kachins in Burma, Koreans (particularly those women forced to serve as 'comfort girls'), and numerous Pacific Islanders, particularly those in what were The Dutch East Indies.
Do we need to hold an 8-year-old girl accountable for what was done 60+ years ago?
She's having a rough time at school. The only reason we're hearing of it is that she's royalty.

A college friend of mine in the 1960s had been repatriated to Japan from Manchuko in the late 1940s; at about age 12. We talked somewhat about WWII and his strong opinion was that Hirohito should have committed seppiku over losing the war. Hirohito killing himself might have done in the Emperor system altogether; not a bad thing.

Being held accountable to the third and fourth generatons of descendants of sun gods that believe in their own divine right to exterminate others goes along with the girl's inheritence of luxury and power. I have uncles on both sides of my family lines that died at the hands of the Rising Sun ( aka, Hirohito and his partner Tojo). And don't believe for one minute that this Japanese girl will ever see your gaijin ass as her equal.
