Julius Ray Hoffman, you & I may never agree on anything besides the awesomeness of Breaking Bad, but it's proof that the most politically opposed people can still find some common ground somewhere.
In this case, obviously, Aaron Paul, who is one of the most outstanding young actors now working.
That said, I'm not sure this can sustain an entire film. It made a great preview, though. Or was this a spoof? (I admit, I didn't click through.)
BTW, my 13-year-old son loves Weird Al. YouTube is preserving culture in ways we never thought possible.
Weird Al and Mark M. from Devo both have children attending the same school as mine. Notwithstanding their eccentric public images, they appear to be pretty normal dads (which shouldn't actually surprise anyone). Makes for interesting school events though, being in the company of not one, but two "super-famous hyper-nerds" like that.
Aaron Paul deserves an Emmy for last year Breaking Bad, no doubt, yo! But he is also fairly good as the newlywed husband of the eldest daughter on Big Love. Completely different from Jesse, as a character.
Too bad it's a parody - it would be a better movie than most of the schlock made by Hollywood today.
I will admit I've attended two of his concerts live and have been buying his albums since the third grade. As "Weird" as he tries to be, Yankovic is actually a hard working professional.

The best part of this is the "Weird Al" cameo.
Aaron Paul??! WOOT! WOOT!
He is the second-best-actor on TV right now, in the hands down best show.
The best actor on TV, of course, being the star of that show.
What a great country!
Funny, I just posted a bit from UHF on my blog. Maybe I started a trend or something.

Patton Oswalt as Dr. Demento sold it for me. Great stuff.

Yeah, this made my day. Can't wait for more.
I think the word "biopic" should be in very large, scary quotes.
